I fill the kayfun from the top and it's a MUCH better way to do it in my opinion. No needle required. Hold kayfun right side up, remove top cap, place and hold one finger over air hole(middle hole), fill with juice, start threading top cap just a little, flip kayfun upside down, and tighten top cap all the way, and then release finger from air hole. It is super simple once you figure it out. Skip that fill valve crap altogether. It takes me 30 seconds to refill when juice level gets low.

Also, just a fyi but if you find yourself with any gurgles.... blow a little through the air hole.... and then leave your device with kayfun sitting upside down for a few minutes. Take a few puffs and you will have zero issues. Nice smooth and flawless hit. this is assuming your build/wick is good.

I do this with my EHPRO KFL+ but also have to tighten down the air hole screw. After I do the fill as you described I back off the air hole screw 2-3 turns and I am good to go. I am cautious to not overfill so usually 3mls of tasty smoke juice.

No matter the maker or vendor, it's wise to take apart and wash any new device. Especially one that's been machined. Even many domestic sites that sell KF clones warn to wash thoroughly...

The other issues, yeah, inconsistent QC, but it may not be FT. They probably don't inspect anything, just order from their suppliers and pass it on.

4.FastTech. Absolute “Crap” Bunch of problems, no box no spares parts and/or consumables.
But it works…
I still have not received my Ithaka and Taifun GT from FastTech, but I’m already anticipating something bad.

Good news for you then....my Taifun GT from FT is the bomb! Very well built and vapes like a champ. Many of FT's RBAs are great little deals, but may be finicky. Just gotta make sure they have a positive concensus. Also, FT has great customer service. You can return it to a US address and get immediate credit or a refund.
