fasttech screwed up my order :(

So after waiting over a week and a half for my order to ship, it then sat in shipping status for about 3 weeks.

Finally got it today. Nothing major, some coils, some cables, but a bunch of mkws SS wire (which is my main part of the order)

So i placed an order of misc gauges of wire, 24-32.
Instead of getting 2x rolls of 26ga 316, i get 2x rolls of 24ga kanthal.

I just opened a ticket explaining the issue, but they are pretty much closed for the chinese new year, so im not expecting to hear back for a few days. But im curious what everyone else's experiences are with something like this and exchanges. Am i better off just eating the cost and saying hey i got some extra kanthal, or actually go through with sending it back to them for the right stuff?

I feel for you bud. In December it was a Painted Goblin instead of the Gunmetal PVD Goblin I ordered, which took 7 extra days BC they don`t stock it. It did`nt end well, but the atty was free after I got pay-pal involved, so.........

This month I received some B model Kennedy 24`s instead of the 1:1 clones I ordered, I found out because the 30 bucks in higher end drip tips I bought don`t fit them.

I`m thinking that at this point my BS level might just be saturated. Fortunately I have more then I need, I don``t need to go find oddball stuff no one else has anymore. So I might just swear them off depending on how they handle this latest episode of wrong item roulette.

Ordered twice from fast tech and both times were horrible. Bought a cthulhu clone and the grub screws were junk issues with tank. Asked for replacement they wanted a video showing defect and then they might return it.

2nd order was wrong and they gave me the run around.

Might be cheap but just to many headaches on top of wait times.

when I say i ordered 24-32, I mean it as I ordered 24ga, 26ga, 28ga, 30ga and 32ga wires.

This was my 4th order from them. The previous 3 were fine. Granted, seems like the error was in my favor (kanthal is about $6 a roll, SS i wanted was $3). But the 26ga SS was going to see more use than the 24ga kanthal.

I've ordered hundreds of times from them, little things mostly. They got one of those orders wrong once, I put in a ticket and they fixed it, really not much else you can ask of them. Mistakes happen everywhere and trust me it's not just China.
