So, I ordered a cheap Ego c-twist from fasttech about 10 days ago and my tracking info still doesn't show any updates at all. In fact, it just says it can't be found.
Then, I read some info in their forum saying that EVERY product with a battery is being refused and sent back to them. And once returned they'll be issuing refunds.

Has anybody heard anymore info on this? I've already come to the conclusion that my package will never see the USA. Hopefully other products from them will ship ok..but I don't even want to risk it right now.
Bummer.

I bought one on the 14th, op-ed for USPS first class and got it ten days later.

Here is what I ordered and in the other picture the left one is the item I purchased. Attached to a vivi nova.

The one on the right is my backup. Ego c upgrade attached to kanger mt3

Does very nicely B-)

Just found this:

Hi everyone,

With China's National Day approaching, fasttech would like to advise everyone of our observance dates, October 1 HKT to October 6 HKT. To avoid any undue delays, FastTech CS and warehouse will remain partially open at a reduced capacity through part of the holiday. Please see detailed schedule below and please note all dates are Hong Kong Time.

Order Processing and Shipping:

Orders placed before Sep 27, 2013 with the following stock statuses:
In stock / Ships next day / Ships in 3 business days - Normal shipping schedule, shipped before the holiday
Ships in 4/5/7 business days - 90% chance to be shipped before the holiday
Ships in 10/15 business days - Shipped on and shortly after Oct 7, 2013.

Orders placed between Sep 28, 2013 and Sep 29, 2013 with the following stock statuses:
In stock / Ships next day - 90% chance to be shipped before the holiday
Ships in 3/4/5/7/10/15 business days - Shipped on and shortly after Oct 7, 2013.

Orders placed between Sep 30, 2013 and Oct 6, 2013:
Shipped on and shortly after Oct 7, 2013. See shipping date displayed on each and every product page when ordering.

Orders placed after Oct 6, 2013:
Shipped on and shortly after Oct 11, 2013 - about 4 business days for products showing as In stock / Ships next day.

Our warehouse staffs will be back to work on Oct 4 to guarantee priority for the remaining orders that placed before Sep 29, 2013.

Customer service:

Customer service will pause between Oct 1, 2013 and Oct 6, 2013. We will come back to full operations on Monday, Oct 7, 2013. During this period, we will arrange several CS staffs to work extra hours on Oct 4 to guarantee priority for urgent requests like order cancellation and modification, etc. We aim to catch up on the e-mail and tickets received during the holiday within 5 business days after the holiday.

Singapore Post and Hong Kong Post's Holiday Schedule:

Please note that packages shipped just before the holiday will take 3 to 5 extra days to deliver because both Singapore Post and Hong Kong Post are closed on Oct 1, 2013. This also applies to orders shipped by USPS first-class shipping.

If you're interested, you may also click here for a full list of FastTech's holidays in 2013.

Thank you.

I placed an order and they split it into 2 because they were having issues I guess finding the TECS lol so they shipped the battery and charger out and the next day shipped the TECS....this was on sept 24th and 25th....
the TECS has finally arrived in San Francisco today so hopefully will be here shortly....however the battery and charger there's no update on tracking yet so am unsure...hoping it's not stuck in hong kong...

also keep in mind of the holiday....they had notices up on their site

My order "shipped" on the 27th via speed post "expedited" service, didn't contain batteries OR liquids, and I haven't been able to track it at all. It's a roll of the dice apparently. I think they are playing some serious warehouse hockey at Hong Kong Post with the Fasttech parcels. I hope mine was at least a goal.

I placed my order on 21 September which, counting today was only seven business days ago. Maybe I'm just jumping the gun here. I've never ordered from them before so not being able to track my package is a little bit different than what I'm used to. But maybe that's somewhat normal for them depending on how it was shipped.

FastTech seems to ship pretty quickly. The problem seems to be with Hong Kong Post. My order from 09/05 was received at HK Post on 09/07. There it has set waiting on Larry, Curly and Moe to arrive on the scene and give it the once over. I am not entirely confident the items will not end up being Christmas gifts.

Just go look in your Account - all available information is contained there.

Likely you have ordered something that was not an in stock Item and it is holding up final packaging and shipment. Each Item page shows Stock status for the item or days to fulfill.

All In Stock orders ship next day with information emailed to you. Often faster(within a few hours) Tracking update may take 3 days from that point.
I have one order pending with 2 Items slated for fulfillment on 10/9/13. Assuming all goes well, they already have my other items ready and should ship shortly after receipt.

Seems crazy, but wouldn't the prudent thing for FT to do (considering the fact HKP is rejecting batteries) is to stop shipping (or even attempting to ship) batteries internationally via air mail? Everyone keeps talking about how it's not their fault that HKP is causing delays with screening, but it just seems like they are not only taking a gamble with battery shipments but all shipments. Someone honestly tell me that FT is not blacklisted right now for air mail services?

nope not blacklisted as stated my Tecs has safely made it to SF and now I play the SF waiting game....

Fasttech isn't really known for their timely updates on shipping I know of some people that have received their orders and shipping still said it was in HK lmfao ;)

give them at minimum 2 weeks after that point then start counting the days depending on what shipping options you chose.

[edit]just hoping that they pass the batteries and charger through HK, that's my only concern at this point....

There is a post on Fasttech titled 'HK Post: Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services' which states:

The postal union has launched a wave of scrutiny yesterday which covers all major postal airmail shippers in Asia.

FastTech confirms that all battery/e-liquid airmail packages are being affected at this time. This includes HKP/USPS, and Singapore Post.

Here is what's happening:

1. Packages with primarily e-liquid and/or lithium batteries in them are now more likely to get caught and get returned to us. We'll refund in those cases.

UPDATE (9/22): We confirmed only lithium batteries are being classified into contraband goods. If the package didn't contain any lithium batteries, it still can be shipped. But please aware that it might still has the delay problem as Hong Kong Post still scanning the packages one by one.

2. Packages *not* containing e-liquids/lithium batteries will ship normally via SG post at regular speed. However those shipped via HK post will get delayed by 5 to 7 days (as we're told) as they queue up for the new mandatory x-ray scans.

If you have previously requested us to put you on Hong Kong Post only list, you may want to consider getting off that list to avoid the added wait time at Hong Kong Post.

Again, until this loosens, there is a higher chance for packages consisting of only e-liquid and/or lithium batteries to be returned to us by shipping carriers. When they are returned, we will fully refund customers and cancel their affected orders.

We'll monitor and update as this situation develops.

I feel a fit of the snarkies coming over me...this has been discussed like 5478 times already, and has completely invaded the FT threads.

For the 5479th time, Fast Tech packages your stuff, makes sure it has a tracking number (if over $15), gets it physically to the Hong Kong post office and then, once the HK post office has your package, Fast Tech is not in charge of it. The Hong Kong Postal Authority is solely responsible.

Fast Tech does NOT update shipping tracking info. The Post Offices do (or don't). HK does. SG does. USPS does. Or they don't. But Fast Tech itself has NO control over it once the parcel leaves its warehouse.

So, the security delays, the time it spends in HK, the non-updating of tracking info, the San Francisco black hole, the way USPS routes it in the US...none of this has anything to do with FT. It is not FT's fault and FT is not out to get you or guilty of shoddy shipping.
End of snarky rant.

I wouldn't sweat it just yet. Mine was "processing" for 8 days before it shipped, then it disappeared into HK post for another 9 days before it showed up stateside. It took a total of 21 days from placing the order to showing up at my door. With the national holiday in full swing, I'd expect there to be a little more delay as well.

Thank you I didn't really mean to imply fasttech meant to say china but brain was stuck on fasttech...
I have no qualms I know I'm in a waiting game and for the price I'll wait :) fasttech has been great and if it weren't for them I'd not be able to afford vaping.

Several years ago made an order from china (which I was unaware of until afterwards...eBay order) and lmfao tracking was a joke....but package arrived safe and sound even if tracking still said it never left china :p
