I've been reading thru the long fasttech thread about shipping issues and i'm not sure what to do.

received tracking number on 11/13 and usps.com says accepted in hong kong on the 11/18.
HongKong post site says,"The item is being returned to sender through the acceptance office, please contact Mail Tracing Office at (852) 2921 2211 during office hours if necessary."

I read some people file for a refund...is this common? Or am I suppose to wait even longer...

First thing... open a ticket with FT and ask them to make a formal inquiry with Hong Kong Post to check if the package was returned to them. They may not actually make the inquiry but it will prompt them to check if they got it back from HKP.

I had one similar to this just recently. Went into "return to sender" mode on 11/20, but luckily it moved to Processed by sort facility on 11/24 and I received it on 11/27.

My package had been opened and inspected by HK Post. They didn't do a very good job of resealing it... but again I lucked out and everything was in the package.

I believe HK Post is using the "return to sender" status when something is rejected in the security x-ray scanning. It stays in that mode until it's manually inspected and verified it doesn't contain prohibited items... batteries/liquids.

I was straight up lied to by them saying that they don't sell anything with lithium ion batteries anymore. I checked their site and found all the same items listed for sale. I don't believe I will be doing business with a company that will straight lie to my face. I never had any problems with them till I had the shipping issue. I told them to ship DHL instead of Hong Kong post after the items were returned, but instead of billing me for the extra shipping like I asked, they refunded my money instead. They are in no way proactive in the customer satisfaction department even if you want to spend the extra money. Sore Spot, sorry for the rant.

Curious....... where did you see or read that they don't sell anything with lithium ion batteries? They do state that they don't SHIP batteries by the usual carriers anymore and you would have to pay extra to ship it differently using other shipping which is not free.

It's a new law change in their country to get more money. FastTech is one company that has been affected by the change and has not caught up with trying other methods. They will be held up for a bit before they can get batteries to customers. To Aeromech: They are going to list everything they got whether or not they can get it to you. Sometimes their batteries are able to pass the post office x-ray machine. It's not lying but rather a business tactic. Instead of going through all the trouble for one customer, they would rather refund the money. The Chinese don't have the best customer service. It's all about making money. If you do want cheap batteries from China then check dx.com, I was able to obtain the basic vape pen batteries. I advise that they do take about 3-4 weeks from purchase date. I have one ticket with FastTech that hasn't been cleared yet and it deals with batteries. My recommendation is to buy things that don't have batteries from them. Liquids should be bought in the States, quality and safer. Hope this helps.

I just wanted to second that. Just like zahzoo said, "Returned to Sender" is kinda iffy right now.

I have a ticket open for an item that was received by HKP on the 13th of November and went into "return to sender" status about a week later.

Hopefully this will clear up eventually; I've seen several posts in the FT forums discussing items that were marked "return to sender" and then suddenly appeared stateside a few weeks later.

I've got over $200 worth of vape items and mods in my cart now. At fast tech.
I was going to start a thread once I reached 5 posts, to ask advice on my prospective purchases.
Now I'm concerned they won't even reach me.

Just my two cents, I'd split that order into two or three separate orders, and space them out by a week or so. Although I'll say most shipments are getting through okay, I would still feel better about chasing a $75 purchase for two months than a $200 purchase.

I have dealt with various suppliers from China for over 2 years. There seems to be a problem with Chinese customs send e liquid and batteries out of the country as of late. Anyway if those items are ordered optional and more expensive methods are required other than China Post. You must balance cost of additional shipping vs a local purchase.

Over 2 years ago the International Air Transport Association introduced regulations restricting transportation of lithium-based batteries by air. The phase-in period ended January 31, 2013. Anyone who has been shipping lithium batteries by air mail since then has been in violation of the regulations.

Yeah I've all of a sudden been having issues with them. I don't buy batteries from them however, due to all the problems I've read about in various places with them and batteries. I made and paid for an order 11/17/13. They decided to not ship anything until 11/27/13. I haven't been able to track it via usps yet. It's now 12/3/13. I have a ticket in, but that hasn't been answered yet either. I order from other places in Korea China and never have such issues. My last order was at my front door in 10 days from them. Go figure huh. And that order was pretty much the same as this one. In that I bought the same items again but on this new one, I added some O-rings to it and a Nemesis clone type RDA. FastTech doesn't have their act together at all it seems. They can't do anything about their local mail and the nonsense of it, but I'd think they could offer better methods to get things from them to the rest of the world. I mean so what if you have to spent an extra 20.00 for shipping considering the savings your getting from using them. I'd pay it if I was assured I'd get my order in a timely manner.

Check your orders again and check each ifems availability, its my first time placing an order to them as well but i always check my order at their website, some times can be shipped right away but some items has a specific date because they need to order them. Also, they do split shipping so if you see the items are available and you still have quite a few that are on pending, i think you can just request them to send whatevers in stock.

I agree with this ^^ also when it says it'll ship in "" this many business days separate by the amount of days, Like the few that are in stock with the one's that will ship next day and put together the one's that have may 5 days or more to ship. So you'll have much sooner packages going out and coming in.
