I had a simple ego twist order stuck at hk post with tracking showing origin preparing shipment since sept 27th. I started bugging support on oct 10th that it seems to be stuck or there's a possible problem. They keep telling me to wait 2 days.

So I bought a chemesis during their holiday received it in 7 days which is average timeframe for my orders ( 7-10 days)

i started bugging them again and they tell me to wait 2 days and since they told me this three times i got mad and i asked them to contact hkpost. Finally after 21 days of waiting they said they found out the package was returned to them on oct 5th and that they will refund me when they get the package back. Shouldn't they receive it by now? It's good I'm getting a refund because there Egos gets bad reviews and i already had to return a defective regular ego 1300 mah that was $7 worked for a day and the the switch stopped working properly.

if you have a similar situation ask them to contact hkpost. I'll still order from them this is my first issue with shipping from them. They do have a good rma / return policy with a us address to send returns back and they reimburse shipping costs

In FT's defense, it's not their fault. There are many vendors that use Chinese suppliers that are having the same issues. eBay has also posted a warning due to the shipping delays. It's Hong Kong Post and Singapore Post that are causing the delays, not FT.

Not to sound contrite, but if you would have searched this first you would have found a thread with over 1,000 posts concerning this same issue. However, I also understand your frustration. Ordering from China takes patience, perserverance, and planning.

In all things can be found compromise.

It's to be expected anytime you move product across international boundaries, especially ones with ports as busy as Shenzhen or HK. It's a simple tradeoff - pay more stateside and have it quicker, or pay less in HK and wait.

Some things I need now and I'm willing to pay the premium for them.

Some things I don't need now, have the time to wait, and take the price break as my prize for patience.

FT shipped my last order the day after I entered it. Now it has been sitting in SF for 15 days. I can't blame FT for that. We were told that US Customs wasn't affected by the so called "government shutdown" but since my orders usually pass through SF in a couple of days I have to assume that US Customs is the problem.

I just entered another order on Friday 10/18. Said it would ship on Tuesday 10/22. Got e-mail that it shipped on Saturday 10/19.

I won't be buying any more batteries from them. Obviously because of HK post but also the Twist I purchased lasted only one month before the circuit board failed.
