Sounds lovely mate, you can't beat a lung full of black dust  I remember years ago, a mate of mine bought a house that had originally been 3 small cottages, but it had all been knocked through. In total, it had 7 bedrooms, some were tiny. I persuaded him to knock through some of the bedrooms and make it a 4 bedded house (only Him, the Wife and 2 kids). I just wanted an excuse for a bit of sledgehammer work  But the dust was amazing, we had all the windows open and it looked like the house was on fire
Nice to have 3 cottages made into one :)

The name's Bond, Trisha Bond
No: 'M' nods yes smilie.gif

I'm sure I've seen panels with a slate look, guess they'd be ok if you did the whole roof with them, nobody would know then :D
You sure? ..I'm thinking of that fake stone cladding  - think I can live without them.

Sounds promising, as long as it's flavours you can cope with :)
Yes, it would be nice if they were my favourites (Virus, Strawnilla, Got Cookie, Frenilla & Wakonda) - but ...I think I've found a couple of decent PG free liquids!!! I've found that when all VG base is ordered from Highbrow, he makes them with PG free flavouring too! So that's good to know. Also, Heathers make a 'Purity' range, and they're PG free too. There's others such as Velvet Cloud etc. and vape Kitchen (it's a chef and he gets problems with PG too) ..trouble is, I'm still waiting to find out about Int. shipping from them.
If I can find a PG free Crème Brule, Custard, Chocolate and plain Strawberry in 0mg, I can then go back to adding 20% of the NT ones to them if no Max VG turn up soon. I've got quite a lot of NT stashed in 12 & 18mg for just that purpose!

There's a few jobs I need to do outside, but they can wait. I think I'm getting a bit old to be laying patios in the snow
Old? ...old you say? No, 'tis just too bl--dy cold!

To be honest, I told the Wife I didn't like the idea of red on the wall, as soon as she bought the paint. But she decided to paint it when I was at work one day
See, that's what happens here - I explain why not, turn my back, and the next thing I know, it's been done/thrown out/ changed ...whatever! The trick is to take away the offending article that will facilitate said change! ;)

No ours is a Hill homes house. They promptly went "bump" 12 months after we moved in :( Luckily we had the NHBC guarantee for 10 years, managed to get a couple of jobs done under the guarantee. Like the porch over the front door had slipped a little, so they fitted a new Gallows bracket for us. I've looked into getting one of those light tubes for the landing - but for the cost of fitting it (having to go up through the loft and the roof), I'll just stick to a 100 watt bulb for now
I think it odd to build houses with no landing window ...must have a cost saving in it!
I have 2x50W full spectrum tubes in here and colours are accurate in any light: they're 6500k 98cri which is just like natural daylight, so if you find a light fitting that takes daylight fittings, you'll get a much better and more natural light for when you need it. Can even decorate using it. I got some square and oblong glass ceiling fittings for the kitchen, utility and bathrooms that take the small daylight white tubes or 'D' lamps. They're all cheaper to use than a 100W bulb ...which are in short supply these days anyway.

Having a lazy day today :)
Got my FT parcel yesterday, but not even bothered with it. Just checked everything was in there.
Catching up on some TV today. Then tomorrow, I'll start the decorating marathon, or maybe just buy the paint to start the decorating marathon
I see - get the priorities right! Can't paint without paint!

The DOVPO has now shipped, by Sing Post. But still no sign of movement with the iStick 50 watt yet. I think I'm going to hold off on buying a temp regulated mod for now, even though I'm tempted by the blue and red Flasks. I'll let Terry be the guinea pig this time
Are there any 50W's in stock yet? The first lot that were due in January got delayed due to a problem with them! MyEpack are saying due around 16th now.

And that is with 6 mg 50/50 gremlin juice. Trisha, the gremlin juice is nothing to write home about in my humble opinion, It`s ok, and i can compare it to the digby`s mums ( A bit nutty) which i don`t like in a custard liquid.
I know! I got some in my last order and wished I hadn't bothered!
In fact, out of four Gremlin ones, there's only one I like: Breakfast Blend (Waffles, Vanilla Tobacco) Not a lot of tobacco taste and rather nice - I may add a bit of custard to it next time I use it.
I'm thinking that with their Vanilla Overload and Custard, I can get a bottle of the Rebranded Custard concentrate from Chefs and add a bit of that to it - only need approx. 4-5% of those. I've got White Gremlin too, and I think I'll mix that with some vanilla and strawberry!

I'm not sure what you'll make of the Coval either - The Chocolate Donut is nice and so is the Strawberry Creamcake (Butterscotch pudding too) but they aren't what I'd call full of flavour! Easy enough to add something to them, but not the point. The Strawberry & Blueberry Custard ones are really mildly flavoured - some may like them, and at high temps they may be better, but for me, not enough flavour. The Blueberry Custard has a mild custard taste that hints at an apple pie being dipped into it and then taken away  I may try using some of my Band Camp apple pie with that because it's very tasty but I can't use much apple - may work to dilute it.
They don't do samples of Coval, but as I'd asked, they did send me 5ml of Ocean: smells wonderful, a drop tastes nice - doesn't taste of much in use though ...again, they may need higher temperatures than I use.
If yours seems weakly flavoured, I can send you some Sure Bert to add in with it ..that'll perk the flavour up! (rainbow sherbet that's citrus/lime heavy).

Anyone would think I was vaping on a car battery. I do like the extra attention though
Oh no, that would make me cringe and cower away in a corner! I hate people who stare!

I see the House of Commons got their way for e-cigs even if it is only in three areas (including their offices) ....so, if it's OK for Government?

Oh go on then, you've convinced me

Well that didn`t take much

Glad you've got it sussed out now though :) I know, I'll be getting one pretty soon. Just got to decide whether to go for the red or the blue. I've got enough black and silver mods now.

Yes i`m well chuffed with it now ian :toast: The blue one is a really nice shade of blue. :) When you do get one ian i will send you some nickle wire, as i don`t think i will need 25 metres of it

I've been using my 30W iStick a fair bit now, and two things I've noticed: it needs charging more often than the 20W ones!
Also, it tends to get fairly hot if I'm using it for quite a while - I never noticed any of the 20W ones getting hot.
I have it at around 5.5 - 6W with a 1.8ohm coil in it, so no excess wattage!

Also, I thought my Mint Choc Vapetto had been changed in some way these past few days - twice I've had a bitter, peppery taste as though it was old & high nicotine stuff ...almost like the nicotine had settled in the bottom of the bottle - but my new bottle was the same. I think it's been poor quality BVC coils from FT!
I'd just got some from MyEPack and see they're the new ones with larger holes in them - taste is OK now thank goodness! I'm just hoping it stays that way.

It's the French postal system- think it's been frustrating a lot of people! My last order took a bit longer than I expected, but it did arrive.

This was the first of it:
Plans to ban e-cigarettes from the House of Commons have been attacked by MPs

The Daily Mail reports that one committee has approved a plan to ban e-cigarettes from the House of Commons. Many Members of Parliament are outraged.

But one MP said it would likely lead to a total ban at Westminster – including in MPs’ offices. Last night, both Labour and Tory MPs voiced outrage at the move.

Labour’s Kevin Barron, former chairman of the Commons’ health committee, said: ‘We have to be very careful when people are coming off cigarettes and on to e-cigarettes that we encourage them – it’s better for their health.’

The Rother Valley MP and ex smoker said two million Britons are believed to use the devices, ‘and there’s no good evidence that e-cigarettes are being used by people to start smoking’.

Speaker John Bercow is being advised to outlaw the devices to bring the rules into line with the total 'no smoking' ban across Westminster.

The move, approved by one Commons' committee, is aimed at stopping those on tour groups from puffing on an e-cigarette or 'vaping' as they walk through the Commons' Chamber.

Tory MP Philip Davies, who has never smoked, said: 'This is crazy. Are the House authorities going to force them to congregate with all the smokers in those shelters? How will that help their health? This is a perverse consequence of the nanny state.'

But an MP on the Commons' administration committee, which approved the draft ban plan, said: 'It'll apply to the Chamber and to the main areas seen by visitors and tourists when they come in. I can't see a problem with that.'

A Commons spokesman said a final decision had yet to be made

To be honest trish, thats why i didn`t bother with the 30 watt version, nor will i get a 50 watt. The 20`s are plenty powerful enough, and i have enough of them to last me quite a while, especially when they are teamed up with my other box mods.

It does sound like crappy coils that trish ! Are they authentic ones ?

Nice to have 3 cottages made into one :)

It was a lovely house when he'd finished all the renovations.

You sure? ..I'm thinking of that fake stone cladding  - think I can live without them.

Like Jack and Vera's house on Coronation Street

The more options the better Trisha. Whether it's buying direct or modifying your own juices to suit, your getting one step closer every time :)

See, that's what happens here - I explain why not, turn my back, and the next thing I know, it's been done/thrown out/ changed ...whatever! The trick is to take away the offending article that will facilitate said change! ;)

Think I'll try that next time  Throw out the paint or the brush before she can even start painting

I think it odd to build houses with no landing window ...must have a cost saving in it!

I thought the same thing when we moved in. Did seem strange not having a window on the stairs. The view wouldn't be great if we did have one - just the side of the neighbour's house, but strange still not having one. With the light on, it's bright enough, but I'd still prefer some natural daylight.

Are there any 50W's in stock yet? The first lot that were due in January got delayed due to a problem with them! MyEpack are saying due around 16th now.

Mine is due to ship in about 7 days or I can cancel the payment through Ali Express - so a similar time frame to MyEpack.

Well as you know, I'm the shy retiring type  But when it comes to my mods, I vape proud :D

I saw that story too in the paper - there's hope for the rest of us yet :)

I was surprised ..I'd have expected them to run cooler if anything!
As you say, the 20W works fine! May not be perfect in accuracy of the read-out, but they suit me OK!

It does sound like crappy coils that trish ! Are they authentic ones ?
The ones I was using were FT, so never really sure ...I hadn't checked the label code either, but the one I'm using now is authentic, and already, I'm getting an unpleasant taste 24 hours after changing the coil. It was fine all day today until just a few hours ago. Now it's tasting a bit off again. I even got a new Nautilus out last week thinking the old one had a problem!
I'm going to put some in an Evod in the morning and see what that's like!

The Posset is in a mini Nautilus with a 2 month old coil in it and it's fine!

Well i suppose it is a step in the right direction trisha, good enough for them/good enough for us eh ?
So you'd think ...we'll have to see ....come the revolution! ;)

It was a lovely house when he'd finished all the renovations.
I'll bet! Nice project to work on.

Like Jack and Vera's house on Coronation Street
Er, yes ...

The more options the better Trisha. Whether it's buying direct or modifying your own juices to suit, your getting one step closer every time :)
True, but it's such a pain trying to source these things and verify the information or ingredients. All gets a bit tiresome and very time consuming ...I've had days when I've woken up with it all running through my mind - the whole thing about finding PG free ones was a 'light bulb' thing that happened one morning just as I was waking up!

Think I'll try that next time  Throw out the paint or the brush before she can even start painting
By gad, he's got it!
Mind you, it's necessary to think around corners sometimes or they get you unawares!

I thought the same thing when we moved in. Did seem strange not having a window on the stairs. The view wouldn't be great if we did have one - just the side of the neighbour's house, but strange still not having one. With the light on, it's bright enough, but I'd still prefer some natural daylight.
Some builders are encouraged to leave one end of a house blank to avoid windows from one house looking into the windows of the house next door.

Mine is due to ship in about 7 days or I can cancel the payment through Ali Express - so a similar time frame to MyEpack.
Hope they get despatched on time! Not too sure about getting one myself now after the 30W is getting so hot.

Well as you know, I'm the shy retiring type  But when it comes to my mods, I vape proud :D
Good for you! I'm not so blasé about these things!

I saw that story too in the paper - there's hope for the rest of us yet :)
I'd like to think so! :)

I thought something was wrong, but the past two days I'm using a new 100ml bottle made just a couple of weeks ago, and when it's a new coil, after the initial 'nasty Nautilus taste' it's perfect ..then the second day, it starts to taste bitter.
I will try the Evod tomorrow though.

Have you got any recent CV liquid ...just in case it's something to do with the base that changes after it's been hot a few times. My Doughnut from a month or so ago is fine.
Don't know - perhaps grasping at straws!

I have only ever had one juice behave like you suggest, and it was the blue moo from MB. It wasn`t that old, a few weeks maybe, but it went in the bin. All my other juices inc chefs seem to last for weeks. Maybe a bad batch, don`t know myself !
