Are brand name products authentic or not?: FastTech Forums

ALL batteries that have a brand name are genuinely made by that brand, even if the word authentic isn't in the name/title.

fasttech does not falsely advertise counterfeit products. This includes the Gillettes which are often reviewed as fake. They are real. We have been challenged by PayPal before and we resolved the matter by providing proof of authenticity.

In rare occasions though cases were found where staffs unintentionally named products in a misleading way. This included "Honda Keychain", "Toyota Spare Key", etc. These are obviously not made by those brands and fasttech corrected the issues the moment we found them.

Just keep this in mind: the batteries and e-cig sections of this site have been heavily scrutinized by other customers -- all advertise brands are genuine.

Are brand name products authentic or not?
- A similar thread was posted a few months ago but it was removed by mistake -- we're posting this again here -

Certain products, such as those from KangerTech and Innokin, are not named in FastTech's listings.

Are these really authentic?

Yes they are authentic and genuine.

Why doesn't FastTech list their brands?

Certain brands don't like FastTech's retail prices -- they want FastTech to dramatically increase retail prices to customers.

FastTech aims to provide all products at reasonable prices to all customers. Since FastTech has never entered into any contractual agreement or obligations, there is no legal ground for compliance.

FastTech, however, removes brand names from product pages in an effort to show respects for these manufacturers.

What does it mean to customers?

When FastTech indicates "Authentic", it is guaranteed authentic.

Why does certain brands claim FastTech's products are fake?

This is so that those brands won't get their body parts kicked by their other retailers who continue to charge customers "premium prices" for the things that FastTech also carries.

Why are codes on boxes and bottles scratched off, and why are pages from product leaflets missing?

In order to continue offering low prices to all customers, FastTech's supply channels remove all traceable materials that potentially identify themselves. This is so that the brands and makers would not force FastTech into higher prices by increasing their wholesale costs charged to FastTech's suppliers.

Bottomline?

Authentic means authentic. If a product isn't authentic, FastTech would not call them authentic or genuine.

If you are concerned in any way, or if for any reason you do not feel comfortable with FastTech's products, please simply order those products elsewhere.

Thank you.
