Very wise Bob.
I found a 10ml bottle in a drawer the other day,i'd forgotten about it.Must have left it to steep.
Had to have been there 5 months.Gave it a quick try.Straight in the bin.
Very Grim.

Remember you mentioning it, hadn't bothered when I ordered the MVP, but when they emailed me to say it had been delayed and they offered it, that's when I thought "no thanks"

Bloody internet decided to have a wobbler last night, so got cheesed off with it and went to bed

Good to see you back Bob, hope you had a great time in Belgium and good luck with the looming op :)

Did all my prep work today. All the filling and door frame/skirting board joints have been caulked. Furniture, mirrors and pictures have all been safely stashed away. Tomorrow a bit of light sanding, then I can start splashing paint everywhere  I'm going with a lighter shade than Magnolia, it's called Creamy White. My Step-daughter used it in her living room, looks pretty good. No sticky fingers to worry about here, so should hold up well.

-----------------------

No sign of movement yet with the VF. I just hope they manage to send it out before CNY.

In other news :

I've seen that the Goblin atty I've got is being released in a new version. The new version will have 2 tanks and an extended chimney section. I think I'll be ordering one, as soon as their available. I know you all said you weren't that impressed with the liquid volume of the one I got. But with the larger tank and chimney section, the new one will be a winner :D

I did copy them bob, but forgot i had done so !
Glad it's not just me that does things like that

Vapemail:
That's nice!! Have you tried it yet? especially interested in the button (too hard on the MVP2) - does it seem similar in weight/size to hold?

I just cleaned my dripper to get rid of the horrible taste of that gremlin juice.
Makes me wonder what the heck all the people giving great reviews have been using before! :( I have 4 Gremlin now, and only one is a good one: Breakfast Blend.
I thought i would try another freebie i got from MBV, Strazzle tea ! I have to say that i didn`t think i would like anything teaish  But it is a real pleasant raspberry flavour, and i don`t get any tea taste from it.
Think they mean 'fruit tea' - bit like those fruit 'tea' bags Twining's do. Nothing to do with tea really. Sounds like the sort of things I'd put custard or cream with!
I got two packages today: another wrong GS16!!! this time from the US. I knew as soon as I saw the box ...no way was that a 2.5ml tank. At least the Irish store has re-sent the correct one for me :) Haven't heard from the US one yet.
And, I got a few from Vanilla Vapes (The Vape Kitchen US gave me their website name when asking about Int. shipping) So, seeing they had only one of the Vape Kitchen ones that I'd wanted, I ordered a couple more, and one was Ruthless Ménage a Trois which is a raspberry cream one @ 85VG/15PG ...or so they said! - got wheezy and checked the Ruthless site: it's a 60% VG, and I'd been using it for a while. They emailed right back and have offered me something else and they'll correct the info on their site.
I still want the Vape Kitchen ones because they're PG free, so worth me trying! I'll have to ask again about the Int. shipping - wish they'd told me the answer to my question in the first place!

In other news, my cloudhouse order turned up today. 30 ml Apple pie, 30 ml Ocean, and a 15 ml freebie `Rainbow Roundies` Smarties to us lot
I`ll report back when i have tried them. :toast:
Ah! Very interested to hear about the Coval ones - at least after a trip from the US and then from France, they'll be steeped! :)

I'm going with a lighter shade than Magnolia, it's called Creamy White. My Step-daughter used it in her living room, looks pretty good. No sticky fingers to worry about here, so should hold up well.
Sounds a good choice - we have Ivory Cream in the sitting room and it's lovely in all kinds of light, but especially a sunny day: makes it have a gentle warm glow. Enjoy your painting, but don't try the light fandango, or cartwheels with a brush in hand! :D
(One of my favourite 'classics')

Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
Beat me to it :)

Hi Ian, I'm still waiting to get my 'puter fixed, 1st company never got back to me, neither did the 2nd, hoping the 3rd I spoke to today will.

Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum

They must be busy then if they can afford to turn down business like that. It would be the decent thing to say "Sorry we are too busy to fix your 'puter"

Hope you get it sorted soon mate :)

It would have saved you a lot of problems if they'd just told you about International Shipping in the first place. Guess they thought they were helping though - it's unusual for one company to recommend another, unless their a reseller of their products. Hope the replacements are better for you Trisha :)

Must admit, it does look lovely at my Step-daughters house. When it's dark outside it looks almost white. But when the daylight shines on it, it has a lovely silky finish that seems to reflect back different shades from white through to buttermilk. If I did a cartwheel, I'd probably break a leg falling down the stairs

Yes, it was only a tiny sample, so it didn`t bother me when i binned it :)

You don`t seem to be having much luck with getting the right size tanks trish, How they can mess up with such things, really has me scratchin me melon

It wasn`t too long Ian, 2 or 3 days if i remember right. The good thing is...once it has been despatched, you will have it pretty quickly. :toast:

With a bit of luck they might get it in tomorrows post then :) As long as it's before the CNY holidays - I want a new toy to play with

I'm getting better at filling up the Orchid too. Only lost a few drops of liquid this time through the airholes. I've found the slower I fill it, the less juice leaks out when I turn it upright :)

Thats the only downside to them mate, filling and losing juice. But you are right, nice and slow and they`re not to bad. :)

Trisha, the MVP 3.0 is a little taller, wider and heavier than the 2.0, you don't need glasses to read the display, it's big :) the buttons are much better, if you think of where the display is on the 2.0 then on the 3.0 it is on the opposite edge, big power/fire button towards the top, display under it, then the +/- buttons and the usb input, the output is still on the base, there is actually 2 outputs, a normal USB A so you can use a normal lead, and the built in cable which has a micro USB-B connector and is plugged into a tiny pin out. The wattage goes from 6w - 30w and appears to be able to step down okay, 510 connector with a eGo adaptor like the iStick one, took the atty off my Cloupor Mini with MCV in it and have been vaping it most of the afternoon and the battery indicator hasn't moved from full.

Must have taken me about 5 minutes to fill it, even with a needle cap bottle. Seemed to do the trick though. Couple of drops out of 1 airhole, then nothing :)

It is the actual company in the US - seem a bit iffy about Int. shipping for all they do say they do it - I'll have another go at them tomorrow, but I'm going to try the one I did get from the UK re-seller first.
Gemma at Vanilla Vapes has been extremely helpful with emails back and forth this evening telling me what is due in stock etc. and I've decided to try the Pineapple Whip - there's only that and Orange Creamsicle that are close to my type of thing, and I never had an orange one yet that I like. Pineapple isn't my favourite, but I can add some crème brule or cream to it to soften the flavour.
They're getting Cloudwerks in soon, and I've already got two of theirs on order from the US (Uncle Phil & Mistress Winkle), so if I like one or both, I'll get a UK source for them soon.

It sounds like the Matterhorn we have in the kitchen & utility - that's a really light creamy white shade and we like it a lot.
You can try the cartwheel on the stairs when you put the brush down ! :D

I reckon most of us do trish, but just won`t admit it
Do what?
...seriously, yes, I'm sure! I often know I have information somewhere, but can't think where - thankfully, if it's on the computer, that little search thing finds it for me!

Yes, it was only a tiny sample, so it didn`t bother me when i binned it :)
..big or small - what else are you going to do with it but bin it! :D
I've been using the Mint choc. Vapetto in an Evod all evening and it's fine! May not taste quite as good as it did when the mini Nautilus was working properly, but it's better than it's been this past week or so ...I can only think they've changed the coils in some way, because I've been using two different packs of them and both aren't nice ..take ages to taste right after putting a new one in and then they go 'off' after a couple of days. Wondering what'll happen when my Posset tank needs a new coil as it hasn't needed a new one since November.
I may try the Mint Choc one in the Aspire ET-S one and see how that is, but seeing they're a similar type of coil, suspect they may be the same.

You don`t seem to be having much luck with getting the right size tanks trish, How they can mess up with such things, really has me scratchin me melon
I know it's only an 'S' difference, but they should be used to the differences now.
Only last week, I'd ordered some Anadin Ultra (Ibuprofen) capsules on the grocery order, and they'd been out of stock, so instead of sending the equivalent in Nurofen, the person doing the picking decided to send us Anadin Extra ..and that's aspirin and paracetamol! World of difference in the content, and some people cannot take either one of those drugs. I'd have thought that the shoppers would be better trained in picking alternatives for medicinal products!

My kayfun 4`s have finally landed in the UK ! 14 days after being despatched :( so hopefully i will have them this week, and i will try the coval ones out. :)
Things seem to be taking an awful long time in transit this past month or so! Are the poor wee things in transport/post etc. tired after Christmas!!!

Ahh, I see. Didn't realise the UK company was a re-seller, all makes sense then :)

Both those 2 juices do sound lovely. I quite like a good pineapple or orange vape. Hope you like them Trisha. I had an orange creamsickle juice from AIV ages ago, bit on the mild side, but it was a lovely juice.

Just need to find the dustcover now. Painting the ceiling always seems to splatter paint everywhere. Don't want to get paint on my stained and varnished stairs. Think I'll give the cartwheel a miss still

-----------------

Better get to bed now. Promised to get the Wife up at 6am for work - no chance of a lie in tomorrow

It sounds very good - apart from the size/weight from my point of view. I liked the MVP2's fine until I got the iSticks, and realised that the MVP's had been quite clumsy and heavy. Wonder if they'll bring a mini version out!
They do sound much improved over the 2 though.
