Bob, still no sign of my tobeco`s shipping ! Had to fire them another email, as he said they would be shipped last week. Are they still having bad weather over there ?

They ship from Atlanta, georgia and according to the Weather forecast its a bit wet over there, so see no reason why it shouldn't have already shipped

Sorry Trish, but that will be the campaign colours `Pink To Make The Girls Wink`
....but I don't want to make them wink

Yes i thought it was about double ! Sorry about the T shirts Trish
'course you are ....not! If it's an extremely pale/soft pink, I'll do that.

Not a problem, blue it is then
Ah! Great :) ...Terry!!! :p

I wonder how the EU companies get on importing from the USA then. Or maybe it's just a UK thing. I'll be keeping a close eye out for any possible future problems though.
That's something I wondered too! (I do know how one company gets it but it's not from one of these 'compliance' sources ...yet!)
But, NT has two suppliers here and at least one in EU ...there must be an acceptable method of export/import.

Might as well go big
I wasn't thinking of getting that much!

I'm an awful car passenger, always going for the imaginary brake  In fact there's only 2 people I'd really trust to drive my car, my Dad was 1 of them and my best mate is the other 1. In fact if my Dad was driving, it would be the only time I could ever sleep as a car passenger.
I could sleep when our younger son is driving. He's a good driver. My Dad was good too, but had a habit of suddenly exclaiming 'Oh hell!' ....had the effect of instant alertness ..was usually nothing much though!
Husband used to drive thousands of miles to do his work (averaged 1000 per week), so seeing accident free, he must be OK
I could sleep on longer journeys when he was driving!
People always felt safe when I was driving, and I was never a slow driver either - but I never had any accidents!

Excellent. Looks like your list of max VG suppliers is growing all the time :)
It does - surprisingly!

I look quite good in pink, so I'm happy to be the poster boy for your campaign mate
:?: Fine ...whatever - I prefer navy, black, or pale grey :)

I'd better get to bed now, so night all.
Nite! :)

Puff Palace springs to mind again
Oh dear!

Had a go at the weekend with the coil master clone I got from FT and it's rubbish. The screws aren't the correct flat edged type and it just doesn't work.

After a lot of careful experimentation with method I did manage to wrap a coil with it but as it's designed to make coil wrapping easier what's the point?

I ordered the blue one and all the reviews are 1/5 "does not work" but strangely the black and red ones have much more favourable reviews. Think it'll just go in a box and I might see if I can get replacement screws for it.

Just thought I'd warn you guys in case.

In better news I've been making different mixes with the capella choc glazed doughnut concentrate and with some sweetener and cream it tastes very nice, it wasn't very sweet to start with but now it's like a cream filled doughnut or profiteroles! Enjoying that today.

One of the main problems with these type of coilers is that you must be very light fingered on the coil end so that it comes out with each turn, otherwise you end up with coils wrapped over each other.

Hmm good idea I'll probably give it another go with some Ni200 wire but it wasn't working well with 25 or 28ga kanthal, and I tried for ages using different techniques like that or first pulling out the rod a hair before turning it and so on.

It might work a little better but the originals have flat sided screws and these clones have regular curved screws if you see what I mean, makes it trickier.

As Bob says from 28g and thicker they're a doddle to use but any thinner and you have to watch and fettle the wire to get the coils right
I bought some M2 x 16 cheesehead allen screws off ebay, they have straight sided heads

Adam, when you say curved screws, do you mean countersunk ones, if so then they are definitely not the right type

Just returned from the local B&M,you know the one with the nasty juice.
I'd been plagueing the guy to stock a better line. And to my surprise he's now doing an 80/20 vg/pg mix.Maybe of interest to Trish.
He let me try them all and i ended up buying.
£10 for 30ml,not the cheapest, but it really is quite nice.

No not like you might screw into wood for a flush fitting they just aren't flat sided, they are rounded and it makes it trickier I think.

Just looked at them on FT and see what you mean, the original has a much flatter and deeper side to them, they look like a smaller version of the screws in the FT Kuro Koiler, which I seem to have problems with
