BTW Terry have you learned anymore about how it's using the batterries. Can't wait for Bob,he'll take 'til Christmas to drain his

Hi,Bob :2cool:

Sorry, thought I'd answered that one - when the batteries ran out, they were both the same voltage, put them on the charger (i4) in slots 1 & 3 and they both took the same amount of time to recharge to full strength, in the meantime I'm using just one battery (and it can be in either tube)

That might be related to the problems I had right a the beginning, where the batteries obviously didn't make contact properly, and taking them out and re-inserting them cured it.

It did have a lot of hype when I tried it, to be honest I wouldn't buy any more. I enjoyed most of them at the time, but I've found much better juices (stronger tasting) since then. I agree they should disclose the pg/vg ratio, it shouldn't be that much of a secret. It's not just because of tolerance problems either, a thicker juice can affect the way you do a build on a re-buildable atty too.
Yes - hadn't thought of that aspect!
I think it's shameful to imply that the whole secret to theirs supposedly being superior hinges on a PG/VG ratio!

The way the higher VG ones have been appearing lately, I'm feeling a bit spoilt for choice ....until I try them probably!

Sounds promising then Trisha, another one to add to the vapable list then :)
Yes - Vanilla now have all five of the range, and 3 out of 5 are good ..with two yet to try!

I just get bored on a flight, last time I took my e-reader with me - did help a lot.

Planes out of the window .... depends if you can see the whites of the passengers' eyes :laugh:
Bored - yes. Uncomfortable - Yes. Jumpy - Yes. Not my favourite thing!
Planes out of the window not quite that close, but last time it was like passing in opposite directions on a really wide motorway - and we were nowhere near landing.

Best was probably flying over the alps at sunrise and seeing the snow tinged gold/pink. Interesting on the way back as we were lower and could see skiers!

Vince, how do you compare the 30 gauge builds you have been doing, opposed to thicker wire ?

For the quality of vape both flavour and cloud once you find the sweet spot there's no difference
One thing I have found with the 30 is how much difference a small power increase makes when compared to the 28. I've changed all 7 over to 30 now 2mm and all between 1.6 - 1.8 ohms, and the lemo on a 3mm coil @ 2.5 ohm, I just aimed for as close to 200 heat flux going by the steam engine calc, that suits my juices and my taste

HELP.
I've been a bit quiet for a couple of days but have been lurking and learning until.......

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agf4LDN_olI

Now I've watched this a couple of times because I've got a couple of these on order from FT, hopefully get shipped in 2 days.
The problem I have is the coil he builds. He says about 10/11 wraps. Looks like about 2.5 mandrel or screwdriver. 28 gauge wire. But when he puts than on his mod it shows 0.13-0.15ohms.

Now I've played with steam and the new CigToy coil building apps and get nothing like those numbers. What am I doing or seeing wrong?

That's a nickle build Dave.

Nichrome Ni-200 wire only for use with a DNA-40 Temperature Controlled mod NOT Kanthal - it's totally different wire Dave, you would get more like 1.9Ω with Kanthal.

You're NIT picking now Bob,we all know exactly what i meant:pervy:It's the safety issue that needed pointing out.

 I know I am but it is just for that reason that we need to get things right, especially for people who are not sure or are new to vaping, lots of people were using nickel (Ni-60) instead of Kanthal (which comes in a couple of varieties as well A1 and D) long before Ni-200 came out.

I always cringe when Terry calls it nickle nickel as well

But I've played again with steam and tried all the Nichrome 20-80 and the Nickel 200 and I still can't get near them numbers. So is what he using totally different to what's on steam?

oops bit of vape mail just turned up.

Looks like todays new stock on FT is mostly o-rings. I'm actually quite pleased because they now stock the specific sized o-ring I've been looking for for one of my RDAs.

The order I placed before CNY was split into 3 shipments as there is a drip tip that is endlessly "restocking", and I've received the first 2 parcels from the order, so now I've got a single $2 drip tip waiting to come into stock to be sent china post in its own parcel! The shipping must be worth several times the actual product they're sending me, if they ever do, it's been restocking now for over a month.

Totally agree mate.
I think saying Nickle is just a lazy term for getting to the point.

was that the new company??
