Good and bad things happened this morning.

Good - Got a tracking number now for the Vap'Potes order. Got the vacuum out and a nice soft bristle brush. Gave the burners and combustion chamber of my boiler a clean out. It's working a lot better now. I normally give it a clean when it gets to the stage that the burners are clicking on and off during hot water production. Makes a big difference on the boiler I've got :)

Bad - Postwoman knocked on the door earlier, with my parcel for the Dominion juices in her hand. The parcel was rattling (glass bottles had obviously broken) and the padded envelope was saturated with e-liquid. I told her I was rejecting the parcel. So we'll see how good Dominion are with CS now, I've sent them an e-mail telling them I've refused delivery :(

Shame there isn`t an unlike button mate :(

That's a joke mate, you're not having any luck with post at the moment :(

Well, I have been through Customer Service and the Escalated Customer Resolution Team with no luck and just being fobbed off, so have now upped it to the Review Panel and I blind copied it to my MP so that if I get no satisfaction from them, I hope she might be able to get something done.

Just read your other post - complain to customerservice@your.royalmail.com about your parcel being thrown around instead of being transported carefully.

Well after reading THIS Last night, i decided to dig out my 30 gauge wire today !

I built a 2.4 ohm coil for one of my kayfuns, set an i-stick at 12 watts, and i have to tell you i find it much better than the thicker wire. It is firing an awful lot faster than 28 gauge, i therefore don`t need to take really long drags to get a good lung full
Reckon i will do all my other tanks this way, as and when they become empty !

Probably both - insufficient packaging and Royal Fail chucking it around

Yeah Bob,i feel as if RF(RM)have hid the skids...poor service indeed.
On the other hand, juice vendors should take a leaf out of the Manabush book and start shipping in sturdy cardboard tubes.

I think somebody (or a few somebodies) at LHR has worked out that any small buff package with a bit of weight to it coming in from the orient is worth a few bob

Well although I said LHR it was actually logged in at the Raoyal Fail Worldwide Distribution Center @ Langley which is where the mail is examined for Customs and then sorted to go out to the Area Sorting Offices mine being at Croydon now, before going to the Local Delivery Offices. - doubt it would go missing at the WDC, more likelly after it left there. RM really need to sort out their Scanning of items so that the tracking actually shows where the problem might be, parcels are just not being scanned as they should be and signatures not being asked for from the recipients.

Oh dear! You won't know if they were protected inside the package at all, but rough handling is usually the reason things get broken.
I just got a small purple jiffy bag from Nebraska (NT) - packed tight and containing 1x30ml and 1x15ml glass bottle. Both just rolled in a little bubble wrap but arrived in one piece thankfully. First glass bottles I've had from NT.

Just reported to Doris @ Focalecig that my nice Blue Zero mod has gone missing after arriving at LHR on 18/03 - so I suppose that will be another 60+ days before I can get a replacement - might be time to escalate my complaint to the Postal Review Panel as this is getting ridiculous.
Tiresome & annoying having to repeatedly chase after these things to get what you wanted!

Seems like it mate. I've been doing my own servicing on the boiler for years now. I begrudge paying £70 call out and £30 an hour for an engineer to come out and apply a vacuum cleaner to the boiler internals. When I can do the job myself in under half an hour. I have to change the water thermistors every couple of years and I've put a new circuit board in it. The boiler is 15 years old and still going strong. I'd never touch anything gas related on it though, for obvious reasons. Everything else is just basic plumbing and making sure there's no leaks.
The chap that always came to service or repair/install our boilers retired a few years ago, but he still comes to service it and replace anything in need. He can't do anything needing certification now though. Not sure how much longer he'll continue though ...like the rest of us, he's getting older.

Trish you can also use Lorann oils for flavouring, I've seen them on chefs site. These are also sold as cake flavourings
So nicotine will be the thing to stock up on
Yes, there's plenty of food flavouring to be had, and they can't touch that. It's mostly the specially reformulated ones (diketone free etc.) and blended concentrates such as Lemon Coconut Cream Cake for instance that may be at risk. Wonder if the companies will publish books of recipes! ..now there's an idea! :)

I've only had one spillage of juice and that was one plastic bottle out of a package of 6 from Strix Elixirs in the US, so I've been lucky in that sense, glass bottles do need extra packing, something along the lines of bottle wrapped in bubble wrap or foam then put into a sturdy cardboard tube then wrapped in more bubble wrap before being put into the padded envelopes.

I read something similar a while back, all my atties are now single element 30 gauge between 1.6 - 2 ohm. Before I made a coil I decided what type of vape suited my taste and my juices best and it turned out about 200 heat flux on the steam engine site, so I made all my coils accordingly, no dry hits, good vape & flavour, better battery cycle life are just a few benefits

This could be good news on the vaping ban front...
Will the government really go against an NHS decision?

E-cigarettes
What do you think? If the government only approved non refillable e-cigs, then that's what the NHS would be advising people to use.

They government seems to think it's fine to ignore learned professors, The Royal College of Physicians, and eminent surgeons who have all contributed to the Lancet magazine, written articles for online resources, and carried out extensive research and testing (still on-going at UCH). Not to mention similar findings and research being done throughout the EU and US.

When big money (tobacco & pharmaceuticals) is whispering in their ear ..or should we say negotiating party contributions whilst reminding them how much tax revenue they're also losing - they seem to be deaf to the very body of people that they wanted us to listen good and hard to when they urged us to stop smoking for the good of our health (and less costs to the NHS!)!

It seems that when we do manage to stop smoking, it has to be on their terms, and not our own.
If they had been first to think of producing a licensed - and of course taxed - product that could replace a cigarette and successfully stop millions from smoking, then they'd be pushing us all towards it. ...and no doubt it would be happily produced by BT and BP!

Not saying it would be effective or pleasant to use of course ...nor cheap ....nor enough allowed to be purchased. They want us to give up smoking in misery and chewing our finger nails - or so it would seem! ....it's for our own good don't you know!

I can see HMRC wanting their pound of flesh by way of taxes, but I think any restrictions as such will be limited to things like unprotected or unvented batteries and nicotine ratios. Driving .................. at this stage ( and in the couple of years it will take to get legislation organised ) with so many users seems churlish and unreasoned, unless there is some damning research we haven't heard of
What possible argument could they forward for banning vaping whilst allowing smoking ? It beggars belief

" When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains no matter how improbable, must be the truth "

Good sleuthing mate

Great saying there mate, I've heard it before, but can't remember where now.

Last week I was thinking that perhaps some time later this year, I'll get a small table top freezer and stock up with nicotine, and perhaps a few of the specific blends of flavouring such as my favourites from Chefs - Now I'm thinking I'll start stocking up now.
If it gets left too late, there could/would be a mad scramble for nicotine at least, so I'd rather buy the brand I want while I can get it hassle free.
I'll also get stock of my favourite brands/flavours where no DIY concentrates are available (yet) - who knows, concentrates may become available if things start looking uncertain.

I can't see how they could prevent sales of flavouring, but I'll bet they think of something to restrict, perhaps with blends!

Then I'll continue increasing my stock of tanks and coils - I have spares of things like 1 each Spinner, iPOW, MVP2, and plenty of iSticks!

It's stupid ..we shouldn't have to do these things! :(

Sounds like a great plan to follow Trisha. I think I'll be doing something similar, but only with the nicotine. Flavourings, as others have said, no way they can ban them with them being safe for food use. You can buy VG from Boots, it's next to the cough medicine, you can use it for sore throats. I'm not going to panic though, it will be a long time before anything happens regulation wise, if indeed, anything does happen.

Shame there isn`t an unlike button mate :(

Thanks mate, was a bit peed off at the time.
