I can't remember seeing if your Lemo 2's arrived Bob.
Just been having a toot with the Ni build in,thirstiest thing i've come across.
With you saying about the Ni subtank coils before, being thirsty, do you think it's the Ni or the low low resistance?

Not since I bought those original ones last year, just getting through the 2nd tank of it now in my black KFL+

I'm wondering if I should try it again - one of the first I got in VG and I did like it. I remember also mentioning the Bavarian Cream one to you - when I went back to mine it had got too old!

Ah! Trisha meant to comment on Chest-Eze, didn't realise you meant Do-Do tablets, I remember them from years ago, my mum used to take them, was only when I bought a packet yesterday that I realised what they were.

They work brilliantly when the PG starts closing my airways - I use some Ventolin for immediate help, and the Chest-Eze helps for some hours after Not using these as much as I needed to since finding some higher VG and 100% ones.

Built my subtank mini RBA with Ni200 today, see if it worked with TC better than the lemos, which vape fine but the TC doesn't read correctly.

Anyway it seems much warmer a vape at the same power levels as with kanthal builds. Using a 75VG juice in it and wicks fine, very flavoursome! TC works ok but still not as well as with an RDA, I turn it down to 370 or so in the subtank compared to 450 on an RDA, might be the small chamber as well I guess though.

****, sorry Terry. Just remembered your post about the bike alarm. Have you sorted it out now mate ??

If not:

If the alarm has a battery back up. Check the battery in the alarm, if it needs changing, the alarm senses that as a voltage drop and thinks someone is trying to pinch the bike, so it sets the alarm off.

Could also be a problem with the wiring to the horn, if the alarm is wired directly to the horn instead of having an internal siren.

No back up battery as far as i`m aware ian, and it has it`s own siren, so not connected to the horn. As i said it`s only a cheapo shock alarm, fit by myself, and it is connected to the bikes battery.

When i first put it in i had the wires just trapped in the terminals, but when i had a service a few weeks ago i cadged a couple of connected, them o-ring thingies, and since i have put them on the problem started.

I did read that a flattish battery can cause it, but not got round to metering it yet

The wealth of knowledge here and the support it gives to the hobby is fantastic.
I think it equates to approx 30p a week and seeing i seem to spend half my life on here thought it only fair for me to do this

Arrived Tuesday if I remember, didn't open one up until Wednesday though - nicer size than the v1s, found the afc a bit hard to adjust and am actually vaping it at a lower wattage than the v1

Low res + high wattage and decent afc all contribute to it

I think the shock sensing ones work on a pendulum type basis, if the bike is rocked, the pendulum makes contact and sets the alarm off. It could just need adjusting to be less sensitive.

It's worth checking mate. My smoke alarms are wired into the household mains, but also have battery back up. If the power goes off or the battery goes flat, it sets the alarm off. I know it's different to a bike alarm, but could be a similar principle.
