Got my chefs concentrates today. Royal mail sure took their time with that one.

The pink spot retro punch is an amazing colour! Haven't tried it yet but it smells really nice. Check it out:

Wait 'til you get your V4 Bob,you could run a car on the oil in there.

You're not following me very well, I was just telling Tel, that I took my Orchid off the Zero and put it on the Dovpo - no oil in mine and I've had 3 tankfuls through it, had to change the wick yesterday

I think you could be right to a degree - I think not sleeping right away causes it's own problems in that I now don't try until I feel sleepy ..and that's a vicious circle really. I need to think more positively about that!

Instead of an odd glass of wine, maybe try the full bottle Trisha - booze always helps with my sleep issues

A lot depends on the receptive nature of the subject - as you say, if they believe in it and it's effectiveness, then it has a better chance of working ..perhaps

I don't think it would work for me either, I'd be too worried about doing chicken impressions or running round the room naked, so I don't think I'd go under

Has anyone tried doing a parallel coil yet ?

It's on my to do list mate.

Mine have already been packed away  the only squonkers I have on the go are the Reos, the Laik and the Minotaur - just wish I could find a decent regulated squonker.

I'll whip one up for you Bob

I was actually thinking about using the DNA30 chip I got in that cheapo wooden box mod from FT (the dual 18650 one). If I can't squeeze all the wires in, then I'll look into losing one battery area and turn it into a DNA30 powered squonker.

I tried it many years ago, there were 3 of us all trying to give up ciggies, 1 chap lit up straight away when we came out, 1 chap gave up completely, I managed to last a week, kept waking up every hour in the night craving, was a nervous wreck by the end of the week, had one ciggie before I went to bed, slept like a log - so that was the end of that try

So a 33% success rate, not very good then

Both air ports are clear on all 3 of mine mate

Think you need a flexible poking implement

or an airline

Having said that I've got 2 v6 on the way to give me an option of single coil builds

the duals dont give twice the flavour but they do use twice the juice, I noticed the

same on the dripper with dual coils

Yep, mine is ok too Vinnie - both air holes doing exactly what they should do.

Terry, just for you I have had a swap around, the Billow which I had on the Dovpo was a 2ohm job, so moved that to the P3, then put the KFL+ on the Dovpo, wouldn't fire at first, check atty, unscrewed the pin slightly, and it worked BUT was showing 1.7ohm instead of 0.9, took it off, put it back on and showing 1.5 weird, I thought so swapped over the Orchid on the Zero and put that on the Dovpo, 1.3 correct reading, put the KFL+ on the Zero 0.9 and with Blue Moo at 20w nice, 25w not so nice, so back down to 20w :)

Comments on the Zero - Very nice Mod - was described on FT as Grey, but it is SS (finger magnet ) performs as it should do and as siad above have tried both the Orchid and KFL+ on it with no problems - only one slight problem which I will look at tomorrow is the screw that holds the battery in place, I used a flat top Sammy 25R and the screw does not sit flush with the bottom of the atty, will see if it comes right out and if so file down the battery end of it so it sits flush, don't want to scratch my worktop

Could you not use a shorter screw bob ?

A bit strange, yes seeing as you always take yours apart and wash them before you use them, something I have never done with any of my atties :laugh:

Dirty git

Terry, I'm going to give the parallel build a try next time I do a rebuild.

Easier to do than those twisted builds I did before. To be honest, for all the effort, twisting the wires, the results were pretty good, but the coils gunked up really quickly. So they didn't last anywhere near as long as a decent micro coil. For the minimal extra effort of doing a parallel build, it's got to be worth a go.

Also, if you remember the 29g coil I said I was using on the RM2/Reo. Well so far it's lasted twice as long as my usual micro coils. It's lasting longer with a darker juice, but for lighter juices, I'll stick with 28g or thicker.

I think george was commenting on you not washing your new tanks bob, and the KF V4 is full of oil when new

Got my chefs liquids today :) And where i was 30 ml short on my last two orders, they sent me 60 ml today, 30 ml RY ....., and 30 ml of stemgunks RY. I had a really nice email from Lew as well, apologizing and putting the mistakes down to their move, and using a new invoice system. So all is forgiven, and god bless `em :)
Brilliant! - great you got that so quickly!

I do like Chefs a lot - they're so helpful, and what they make is good too. I've spoken to both of them on the phone in the past, and their enthusiasm and keen interest in what they do is very apparent. They've both spent time trying to help with the things that cause me problems.
The mistakes have been frustrating, but they always put them right very fast, and generously too.
There aren't many companies I'd be so forgiving with, but I am with them.

I can`t even remember which brand/Type it was i used trish, but it really helped with my cravings :) And you are correct when you say that it does not enter the lungs ! All you do is sniff a little pinch of it, and it stays in your nasal passage. It can feel a little uncomfortable until you get used to using it, but that little pinch what you have sniffed is a direct nicotine hit to your brain, and i think that is what you may be missing.

I hope it helps you anyway trish, and it is so inexpensive you haven`t lost anything if you end up chucking it out :) It never did me any harm at all !!
I've read enough today about both Snus and Snuff to know I do not want to try Snus, but think I'd be willing to try snuff!
Seeing it's made from whole tobacco leaf, it may have possibilities - it's been around long enough that if it was dangerous, we'd know about it.

I don't have tobacco cravings as such, but I'm definitely missing some component of tobacco.

I really do appreciate George's concerns, but I'm not functioning properly - or at least, not as I need to, so it's worth giving it a try.
First sign it's a problem for me - out it goes! :)

Possible, but knowing me I wouldn't have the right one available, just as easy to file the one that's in there

Dirty git

I take them apart and have a look at them, but they always looked and felt good to me, and I've never had a problem, they get a good clean after 1st use before I recoil them a second time, if I ever found one that looked yucky then it would get a good clean in the UltraSonic cleaner first.

My second Lemo arrived today - from FT.

So now got a black and a stainless one :)

Oooo, playing catch up with the Lemo`s now are we

Let us know how you get on with it Ian, like you say it seems straight forward enough to do :)

2 black & 3 SS, but only one of each actually been used so far.:p

Show off

I was thinking about getting another. BA vapes had a discount code, tried using it yesterday - but the code had expired. Then today, got an e-mail from totally wicked about 25% off with a discount code. They have their own branded Lemo, but even with the 25% off it's still not cheaper than BA vapes - so I'll just get another even cheaper one from FT instead

I did a parallel earlier 6/5 wraps 30g round a 3mm mandrel tightened up and it came out @ 0.92ohm, working a treat on my Zero, 'twas a bugger to fit around those tiny screws in the KFL+ though - more suited to atties with post holes - like the Lemo or single build in the Orchid, although the latter would have to be a 5 or 6 wrap depending on whether you want it slightly lower or higher

Will do mate. Not sure when it will be though, I've only really got 1 Kayfun and the Taifun that really need redoing any time soon. Tell you what, I'll try it on the new Lemo instead - off on Thursday, so I'll have a play then :D
