Not a hope in hell.

Shame that mate, she must see how much better you are without them.
It can sometimes be down to when the time is right.I know at one point, i couldn't be persuaded. Then just made up my mind one day,i'd had enough.

Same here - I haven't found a choccy one I like except MCV, even though I sometimes get a peppery taste and it makes me sneeze
I sometimes find the mint makes my nose a bit sore, but not always. Still the best chocolate one I've had!

Dived into a Tesco express this morning for some milk.
I'm sure the person in front of me paid £9.24 for twenty Lambert and Butler.
She said,"and give me a fivers worth of scratch cards" and the bill was £14.24.
£9.24  Is that right? L&B where always a cheaper pack of fags.
Scary isn't it! I used to buy 100 L&B Menthol and 100 B&H Silver and think it cost me around £96 ...now I see this for one pack of 100:
(20 per pack x 10)
£82.14
41.1p / Cigarette

That's the supermarket price, so the small branches and independent newsagents will be more.
We certainly did the right thing, even though we have fun with new gizmo's and liquids! :) ...still, we don't know how much tax they'll manage to swindle out of us with e cigs yet!

Nibbled bloody everything Trisha, and i mean everything ! She knows how to " find the mark"
 Those teeth are like needles! Sophie used to bite my toes if she saw them ..awful shock if you aren't expecting it (it was a warm summer in 2006, and I used to kick my shoes off while sat at the easel)

Me Too Bob, my Zero. Unfortunately, I have had to request some help from FT support. The battery sleeve just won`t budge, i`ve even had my marigolds on it, but nope, can`t even get a bleedin battery in it to try it out.
I don`t think anyone on this thread has got a Zero, but any help would be appreciated.
I see the solution  ..sounds like something I do!

I used to have a Boxer like that.
We had one that was a hooligan until she was 3. Apart from a few chair legs chewed, she ripped a contract weight carpet in half, made a 1ft hole in the side of a brand new expensive mattress, demolished two 6ft real Christmas trees & everything on them including the lights! (came home to see a large empty window where a huge decorated tree had been standing an hour earlier!) The mess once we got indoors was terrible! Had to go and buy all new lights and unbreakable decorations (which are still in a box in the loft 35 years later).
So we took to putting her in the garage until she calmed down (light, clean and comfortable) and the eldest would pop home for lunch and feed her, take her into the garden etc. ...he came home one day to find she'd managed to knock a 5lt tin of turquoise emulsion paint off a fairly high shelf and it was everywhere! ...I had to come home from work and deal with it! :( ...we loved her though :)

Not a hope in hell.
Pity she couldn't 'stumble' unwittingly into it like I did ..still surprised at myself! Nothing would come between me and my cigarettes!

Ours could be a bloody embarrassment Trish.Needed watching all the time.
Funnily enough, only two other dogs ever put him in his place a Ridgeback and a Standard Poodle, realised that day they are a powerful dog.Bowled him over no problem

Not necessarily, I've sometimes seen them cheaper in the corner shop, there isn't a lot of difference these days
Both our nearby newsagents are owned by Tesco, and the cigarettes there were always a bit dearer than in the supermarket. Can't say I've even looked at the price of them on the shelves in recent times.

Worse place i ever bought a pack was WHS,B&H were over £9 a couple of years ago.
Gosh! Must be the recommended price! WHS used to be such a good place to buy books & stationery.

A ridgeback is the only dog I ever saw make our vet angry. He was patient and tolerant with most dogs, but this one bit his arm just before our appointment and he apologised for the thunderous look on his face when he'd come out to call us in.
Poodles, particularly the standards, are a real tough dog - especially when bred to the proper standard. They've been typecast in totally the wrong light over the years, and it does annoy us. The stupid haircuts evolved from those designed for hunting purposes so they didn't have wet hair around their joints (it's a proper wool coat) Ours have always been cut far more sensibly.
We had a miniature before the standard ..anything but 'mini' and built like a little thug, but she wasn't a silly dog either.

Our boxer could embarrass us too - got out one day and even the neighbours were trying to catch her ..merry dance she led everyone too. One lady laid a trail of ham into her house ..crafty dog ate the ham to within arms length of the lady and then took off again

Update on this. Mine won't turn off any more unless it is plugged into the power cable. Bought it from Amazon in December. You have (sadly) been warned.
Get in touch with Amazon -they're extremely good with faulty goods. Our Karcher is getting quite old now, but still works very well.

Trish, talking choccy vapes have you tried Quacks - Quack snack ?

DUCK'S BREATH by QUACK'S JUICE FACTORY
Don't think I've seen that one before! Thanks :) - wish they had the small bottles to try first. Spiritus are out of stock at the moment on the small bottles.

All the ones with Metal sleeves just pull off, my DNA30 one with the woody skin was very tight when I first got it, but those with the Acrylic backs are solid with a battery tube drilled through and therefore have to take the battery from the base, seem to remember now that you got the black/white one, I've got the blue one as well as a SX350 with steel sleeve.

You were right bob ! Got a battery in fired it up, checked all settings etc and it seems fine :) I did try one of my NI builds on it and it works perfect. I`ve got an empty subby which i will build tomorrow, and get some fluffy nuts in.
Where would we be without our Bobby, cheers mate. :thumb:

Yes it was the satin black one i had Bob, but as you know it was DOA. This one seems to be a good compact little mod though. :)

We've had three poodles since, and none of them have been destructive.
Boxers are a handful until they get to around three, and there was the added problem of her resenting us leaving her in the house for a few hours at a time each day. Some dogs are OK with it, some not. She settled down eventually, and I was working at home too during the last two years we had her.
It was after that we got the first poodle, and she was an angel. Housetrained very quickly because the breeder had been getting her used to it, so only took 6 days. Best we've had for that, and if course, shw wasn't left on her own for long.
You're around most of the time, so yours will probably be fine once she's got used to things and knows the routine of things :)

Did you have a good trip out today?
