Thanks. I'll watch that in a bit. I love with a smoker so it's a bit Halle going when I see them go out for a cigarette. It's not my partner it's her mother who lives with us.
That's understandable - I may have found it easier because no-one else in the family smokes now, and I work at home, so I could avoid being around smokers.

I started Physical Therapysbd the people made a really big mess of things. They changed medication on me. So I'm In a lot of pain (relative to me. I've no idea what anyone else's pain is like) and smelling smoke. Seems like a perfect storm.
Pain is registered in different degrees at different levels depending on the source and nature of the pain, and also your individual pain threshold. Nothing to do with how anyone else would register the same pain, but how it is for you yourself.
No way you can get back onto the previous medication right away?

What's the banner of which you speak? Feature of the forum?
The one you see at the bottom of peoples posts, such as mine, which is a Nicoticket banner and you can see every day that you got a bit further, saved a bit more, and it's great to see it get to each month initially, but getting to 6 months, then a year is a good feeling. There's just no way you want to spoil that :)
Anyone can use the Nicoticket one:Nicoticket Success Banner
Plus there are others - if you see one you like better, click on it and you'll likely get taken to the source of it. All you need is to enter your own details of when you stopped smoking and how many etc.

I finally got around to trying my Triton late yesterday - 1.8 coil with Queen of Puddings.

I do like the top filling - very easy, but it does have a light constant gurgle in use.
I's way too airy for me with the air vents open, so those are closed. Makes no difference to the gurgle either way, nor whether I use it at 7W or 10.

Does anyone else who has one get this light gurgling?

Did you remember to close off the air holes at the bottom before you opened up the top to fill it, sounds like it is slightly flooded, hold some kitchen roll lightly around the airholes and blow though the tip, should clear it up.

@Bobw1951

Did you get your "In Packaging" mail from CoilMaster Bob.
Looks like we may have them sooner than we thought :)

Yes about 12:50 but I have been busy so only just seen it.

Sent my TB mods squonker off to "windows" on AAEC so that he can replace the fixed 510 with a proper sprung loaded MAV kit (only had one atty that would work with the fixed 510), I've also ordered one of his DNA40 squonkers, should get them before I go to Spain at the end of September.

Also my tall display cabinet, we had to empty it and move it when the french doors were re-newed, needed a good clean, then washed a few of the ornaments and started to put a couple of things back in, might get it finished by the end of the week  ordered some small cabinets 92cm high to fit under the windows to replace the taller wide one that used to be there which we had to get rid of because the new windows sit lower.

Don't know what it's like up north but we had downpours yesterday, another this morning, it eased up enough to get round the post office and shop, and it's now throwing it down again, having to keep switching the lights on because it gets so dark.

Not suffered the gurgling Trish.
Top filling is nice as you say.
I 've only tried it with an Ni coil.
OK - thanks George :)

OK, I'll try that - I'm pretty sure the holes were closed because I have them closed fully (too airy for me otherwise).
I've opened the air control and nothing came out when I blew down the tip, so closed it again and opened the tip air control at the top ...that did blow some out, but it still gurgles!
If I poke some tissue down the top hole with the tip removed, it soaks up a little liquid ...seems it must be siphoning a little.

Saturday was our worst day with lots of rain and then thunder storms in the evening. That was a black day!
Yesterday a mix of sun and cloud (only 19C max) and then rain from early evening through the night. Just dismal and cloudy now and rather humid, some rain forecast for later.

So, it looks as though plenty are getting problems - some think the coils get over saturated, others think it's the ratio of PG/VG at fault - nothing concrete, but it's said that there's lots of complaints on the Aspire forums.
As for trying the coils on an Atlantis ...do I really want to get another tank just to try a Triton coil on it .....

I've taken the Coolfire up to 11W, and it may be gurgling less ...not 100% sure. It steams through the liquid though, and I'm not sure that's a good thing for me!

You need the air control at the bottom open, even if it is only a little bit, you do not necessarily need the top one open.

Open while I use it? ....Well, just a tiny bit does make it a bit too airy for me, but I'll see how it goes.
Trying it with the setting on fill rather than vape too, and it's not perfect, but better.

Uh yes o_O, you need some airflow to allow the coils to heat up correctly and allow you to vape
Apart from getting a bit warm to touch, it was working fine in that respect with them closed ...just gurgling  It still gurgled with it open a bit, but with the setting on 'fill' and a tiny speck of air control on the base open, it's not too bad ...still at 11W though, so may see how it is if a bit lower.

That's really surprising that it still allows enough juice thru' for the coil not to burn.

You can't win them all, 2 wins, 1 draw and now 1 lost out of 4 is not too bad, let's see where we are towards the end of the season. Gate was 1,024 and there wasn't many Staines supporters, ground can only hold 3,000 until we get our new one.

I was thinking that as well, even the old atties like the iClears and Protanks had airflow usually via 2 holes in the 510 connector, just wasn't adjustable.

I was just trying all possibilities suggested in the thread, but it only lasts so long before there's a hint of a dry hit coming, so I put it back on 'vape'

So far, it's not looking like it'll be a favourite for me. I have 5 coils to use, and I'll know by the time they're used ..or before

Considering it's looking like Aspires replacement for both the Atlantis and Nautilus/mini,i think it's fair to say better was expected.
Looking through that thread, it looks really hit and miss for people.
I don't want something I need to mess around with to keep it working properly - apart from a little bit of leakage at the air control on the Subtank occasionally, that's far better ...just wish the coils did better with some flavours.

I see some say the same Trident coils in an Atlantis work well, but as I said before, I'm not getting yet another tank just to use the Trident coils.
