That is my point exactly george, and i just can`t be doing with frustration these days  I like Smooooth, just like captain custard mate

:laugh::laugh:

Cleaned the KFV4 Terry,it's a nice clone.
It's just sat on the shelf waiting to be built....problem is.....these Lemos are just too damn good. Don't feel like bothering with something else.:)

Yes the Lemo`s are very good george, i just don`t seem to be able to get mine running perfect though :) Can`t understand it really as i build them just like i built my kayfuns. Maybe i need to strip one down and have a good look inside !

I've got a few of the fruit ones myself. You're right, the blackcurrant is a cracking flavour. In my "Terry's Jungle juice" mix, I use 5 different Inawera flavours, they meld together really well :)

I have a few questions about this

1. Why is it "Terry's Jungle juice" or did Terry give you the recipe?
2. I didn't know blackcurrants grew in the jungle?
3. If you'd be willing to share the recipe, could I try making my own version? I might have the 5 different fruits as I've now got quite a few inawera fruits. I'll trade you for my raspberrycolada recipe (probably my favourite mix of different inawera flavours)

Done another couple of parallel builds today.

So both my Lemos have been paralleled and decided to try it on the Reo/RM2 too.

Popped a 1.0 ohm coil on the RM2, cracking vape, really adds to the flavour - my coffee juice tastes amazing now :D

You've got me tempted to rip out a Ni200 build from one of my RDAs and go for one again!

I've been using the DNA40 so much lately I haven't vaped kanthal in an RDA for a while, cleaned my stingray x mod the other day so the copper is nice and shiny and waiting for a kanthal build on an rda to fire!

Mind you where's my bloody vaporshark i paid for that back in November from Elegant and they are only in Stoke on Trent.

That's bloody ages! Have they given any indication when they are getting stock? (Just checked grey haze and uk ecig store and they are out of stock as well)

Although did spot this on ukecigstore:

Dark Ronin Modz Dual Triton Box Mod - Box Mods - Mods

What the hell? Are you supposed to put your entire gob over both the RDAs? Be like playing the panpipes!

I was reading something in a thread last night about Inawerashop Molinberry which it seems is something different - but only comes in 100ml bottles unless you can get a sample from them! I saw a few good sounding flavours: Peach Nectar and Creamy Vanilla plus some others.
I want a really well flavoured peach that doesn't have that icky taste!

Good find Trisha.

I reckon the 50 watt iSticks will be a similar price on FT, around the $50 mark.
Yes, it would seem so - if they are, I may try one ..the charge will last ages and the output should be true (if that description is accurate).

Oh no, not the dreaded Puff Palace again
I suspect it'll never feel quite the same!

Cheers Terry but they'll probably get the order wrong and send me some 36 nic baccy :p
Aw! that's not fair. I've placed perhaps 30 orders with them since April for liquid and flavouring etc. and had two that were wrong - and both were 'special' orders for either strength or base liquid.
I can easily forgive a couple of genuine errors (which were put right fast and generously) because if it weren't for them being so very helpful, it's possible I may have given up some months back.
Finding top quality in VG hasn't always been easy - better now, but back in April really good tasting VG was hard to find, especially in the UK.

Today i tried a 3.5 mm coil using the 26 ga, 8 wraps = 1.2 ohms. Bloody harsh vape at first, but started to mellow out after vaping about 1 ml through it :) Another thing i noticed about the Lemo is, when putting it back together, if i tightened it all down too much it seemed to be affecting the wicking ( The odd dry hit ) Since i have loosened them a bit, the juice sems to flow through the channels a lot better. :)
I know it's a totally different type of tank, but the mini Nautilus works far better if it's all tightened and then slackened off by a half turn and then unscrewing and re-tightening the top. It seems to eliminate any gurgling, siphoning and leaking. They obviously don't like everything tightened too much.

I can get a 120ml bottle from Quacks for $62 + $20 shipping that works out OK (a lot cheaper than getting 8 bottles from Spiritus)
But we all know the VAT man will hit me on the way in.

I reckon the all in price with vat and charges would be appox £78 which then works ot dearer than Spiritus
Try asking them - I did with HHV and another, and they were happy to either reassure or oblige. At least you'd be sure about their policy.
Gremlin is supposed to have good custard, and it's 80VG - store is closed until Monday to catch up with orders though.

Yes it`s happened once to often with me george, ships in x days, then goes to restocking blah de blah  Now with the sig showing ships in 5 days, and it hasn`t moved from that for bloody yonks :( I think they just don`t know when they will be back in stock, so just leave it at 5 days hoping people like me will still push the button

Anyways, i will get them gift certificates converted to my paypal account, hopefully next week, then i think i will be done with FT !
My Cloupor was like that: 5 days for a long time ..and just as you predicted, it suddenly shipped! Still with the shippers when I looked this morning, but some progress

That is my point exactly george, and i just can`t be doing with frustration these days  I like Smooooth, just like captain custard mate
Agreed, all I crave is peace and calm ...darn elusive though sometimes! :?:

I just went to order a mini nautilus off ft and I couldn't pay with PayPal any reason why
It usually works - can you log into your PP account OK?
I got my last mini Nautilus from MyEPack - never tried one from FT.

I haven't had any issues with mine like you describe mate, and I screw it together reasonably tight. Not like machine tight, but there's no way I'd accidentally unscrew it.

When you were getting dry hits did you try the trick of blowing into the drip tip while holding it upside down? If i ever have dry hits or flooding in mine or a kayfun that usually sorts it out. I think it "resets" the pressure difference to how it should be.

On the lemo I noticed if you accidentally start to unscrew the glass section (increasing the volume in the tank section) then it starts to bubble very quickly to suck juice through to the coils so it obviously responds quite acutely to the pressure thing.

Have a read on the discussions page on that item on FT. I've seen it mentioned and if I recall it's something to do with how FT get some items that the manufacturers don't really want them selling so they conceal who their supplier is by scratching off serial numbers etc.

Maybe. I don't really remember but I remember sufie comments on it in one of the discussions.

No i don`t mean that bob ! I am talking about when assembling the tank, say after a clean. If i tighten the top cap down too tight, it seems to affect the wicking.

Again it should only be finger tight, maybe you are tightening it so much that the juice channel is getting blocked by the wicking material getting compressed too much, apart from that cannot think of anything else

First, you really want to try it, just in case you are not keen on it, but looking at those figures I make it £70-£74 which works out @ £8.75-£9.25 per 15ml if it gets hit by VAT, and that depends on whether they put the correct price on the declaration form, might be worth waiting a few days to see if the French company gets some more in, I think they had a space to get notified by email on the page

I just tried your suggestion of the upside down, and blowing through adam ! The one i just tried it on, i got a bit of juice come out of one of the air holes, but up to now that seems to have sorted it out :toast:

Edit: i also use the silicone plug and not the screw, i wonder if that has anything to do with it ?

I've just cleaned, dried and rewicked one of my KFL+s - wick looked really bad even after the clean in the Ultrasonic, but the dry burn brought the coil up nicely so it didn't need recoiling.

Ah yeah I should have said you might get some juice coming out the base where the airflow goes in, at least with the lemo (compared to a kayfun) there's loads of room in between those bottom pieces for slight leakage to just pool harmlessly until you feel like cleaning it rather than it running out all over your mod.

Ok thanks I've just ordered one for £18.67 that's the cheapest without going on eBay

Bleedin' 'ell - see what you mean, that looks worse than that chap doing the caterpillar build that I watched yesterday, he was vaping without the drip tips, amazed he didn't burn his lips off.

I just did the same trick on another adam, and so far so good. They seem to be vaping a lot better now :) You probably missed my edit, but do you use the silicon plug or the screw ? I use the former, and wonder if that is causing pressure issues

So do I on the 2 that I have on the go, and no problems apart from when the black one was almost empty last time I got a bit of leakage

So far bob, Adam gets the full kudos for this matter, it really seems to have sorted the problems i was having. I know it`s not my builds, as i have been doing these sort of tanks for longer than i can remember, so it has to be a pressure thing !

Question for Bob and Adam
Is the VS really worth this wait,i'm half in mind to cancel.
Reading around i'm not hearing good things. There was a guy on potv tonight saying he'd had a mail fom his supplier regarding a safety issue with charging 'thru the usb.
Another guy said he'd taken delivery from VS direct and obviously received a recon unit.
I only seem to be reading about problems with the VS and they are not all todo with the chip.
What do you guys feel about it?

Yeah I see it now. I have only used the screw. I get a tiny bit of leakage out of it (I think, it's hard to tell) but not enough to cause a problem, just wipe it up every few days with some kitchen roll. I'll probably try the plug at some point but I'd be a bit afraid it would come loose.

I've had 0 issues with mine from grey haze and have used it pretty much every day since I got it. I don't usually take it to work or out and about (I have done a few times with the lemo on top, but I usually use my nemesis and kayfun) but when I'm at home it's pretty much all I use now, with RDAs or the lemo.

I will have to look into that possible safety issue with the USB charging though :?:

I have charged it through USB several times with no issue but usually just swap the battery over and charge it separately. That's more just because I vape it until the weak battery message appears and I'm usually not sat at my laptop where I could continue using it while it's charging. That's how much I use it haha.

As for the chip and temp control vaping, I do highly recommend it. When I'm at home I use an RDA 90% of the time so for me the avoiding dry hits is excellent. If you vape tanks more and they are obviously wicked well then that won't be such a benefit.

EDIT: if you're concerned have you seen what people think of the Hana DNA 40? A vapor flask dna40 would be ace but it's more expensive.
