Well at least you are sorted now mate, you will have to give your impressions on it once you have tried it. :)

Hold on,you said you'd never listen to me again.

Listen mate if you can't cancel the sig from Ali,i'm sure there's stuff i'll need from FT.I could pass you the cash for an order.

And very nice it was too mate :toast:

Glad you liked it mate. On my last DIY marathon, that was the main one I did along with Berry Blast.

It looks like i will soon be back to square one Ian

You could always get the 50 watt istick when it comes out.

Yes I agree, the only one I've tried is celtic ry8 by celtic vapours from my local shop.

Someone should do a kebab flavoured juice, for when you've finished the beer

One more thing i have noticed with the Lemo`s, in my case at least is, they don`t seem to pair well with the i sticks ! An example is - I have a lemo on my hana right now 1.5 ohm coil and set at 15 watts, it is vaping like a true champ just how it should do. I have another on my IPV, and again, it`s fantastic. The two i have on my i sticks are the only ones i can`t seem to get wicking right. All four have pretty much the same build in them !

 I've got both my Lemos on the iSticks

Guess I must be lucky, their both working great now

 Even so, it`s always good to hear peoples thoughts about juices, i have had Quacks bookmarked for a while now :) That sounds great george, lets see what happens with the ali order first mate. In fact i will just see if i have any messages :)

EDIT: your order cancellation is still pending the suppliers approval.

Gonna rebuild a couple more rta's tomorrow. Can you confirm that a parallel coil is when 2 wires are coiled at the same time, not 2 separate coils. And on the Steam engine site it's classed as dual coil serial. So 28awg at 2.4mm diameter for a 1.2ohm would be 3 wraps.

But then a single coil using the same gear would be 7 wraps so is there any benefit?

Or should I try a dual (2 separate coils) side by side shotgun style?

Dave, a parallel coil is 2 wires coiled side by side - you're right mate.

On the steam engine site change "Round" to "Round, twisted/parallel" in the drop down box. Then leave "twist pitch" at zero, change everything else as necessary - coil diameter, wire diameter etc.

The parallel build isn't quite as harsh a throat hit as a dual coil. Their both good ones to try though mate. The parallel build, gives you more wick to coil contact in a single coil area, so more popping :D

So with 28awg, 2.4mm dia, for 1.2ohm it's wrapping the 2 pieces together without overlapping or twisting 13 times.? just seems a lot to a beginner but I will try it tomorrow.

If you change the set up option to ` dual coil serial` dave it`s 6 wraps mate not 13 :)

That makes a bit more sense, using round twisted/parallel and dual coil serial. :toast:

Forgot about that section -dual coil serial. Sorry Dave :)

Also, if you can do a 3mm coil, it makes it a little easier to see the wraps mate.

Yep, I did Bob. To be honest, I'm happy enough with the FT ones for the price they are :D

Got my order in for those as well

I get air bubbles in most tanks now. Didn't at first with the rayon, but now I've sussed out the right density, all is good.

It's the first thing I look for when it doesn't seem to be performing well - no bubbles usually means the juice is not getting to the wick, bit of a pain if it's a tank that needs emptying

It's probably with Trisha's order George in New Zealand

Her's turned up

Mine says it will ship on the 16th too, we can have a race Sarah - see who gets their coilers posted off first

3 way race mine due to ship 16/01 as well - although Sarah should win by a mile - she's only round the corner from China

I just like how easy they are to use. Should make coil building a breeze, even twisted wire builds.

It's the first thing I look for when it doesn't seem to be performing well - no bubbles usually means the juice is not getting to the wick, bit of a pain if it's a tank that needs emptying

I have a separate syringe in case I need to empty a tank to play with the wick. But you're right, still a pain

I reckon I'll be second then. Good job I placed an each way bet

On SE where it says Round after Kanthal A1 drop down to Round Twisted/Parallel and make sure Twist pitch is Zero, number of strands 2, AWG, Target Resistance, and inner diameter of coil, I usually change leg length to 4

I went to have a look myself earlier trish, more shut than open that place
I get the impression, from odd things I've seen/read at Reddit and also now at FB, that it's a young company and like a lot of these suppliers, it's growing faster than expected. I think he's in a sort of transition to making things work better. Whatever, I'll place another order and see how things go :)

Anyhoo, FT got back to me today saying that gift certificates cannot be exchnged back into cash :( So it looks like i will have to spend them there  Problem i have is i don`t really need anything, as i ordered the sigelei from Ali`s.

After reading there reply ticket, i saw that they are now expecting the sig to be in stock in 2 days, how pigging frustrating  So i went back on to AE, and put a cancellation request in, and if that is accepted by the seller, i can then use up them certificates ! What a bloody run around i have had
It's been one those fiasco situations! Never mind ...there'll be other 'stuff' along ;)

It's probably with Trisha's order George in New Zealand
...No - that somehow found it's way back last week! ( No thanks to Royal Mail who gave no help!)

I'll definitely get one or two Trisha when they come out :)
Interesting to see how that company is generating some huge sales levels from their recent products!

That's why i was after the goose juice last night i wanted a max VG (so it's kind to my throat thru' the Atlantis) also dropped it to 6mg just for that tank.
There's a lot more Max VG around now compared to even a few months ago - trouble is, not all of it is top class.

I just got a few from Avant Garde in London- they do a VG range, and I got their Heavenly Custard ..it only came two days ago, so not steeped. Smells pretty good though! I already like their French Vanilla - had that a couple of weeks now. Chocolate Glazed Doughnut is chocolate forward, but well flavoured.
Grey Haze have a fairly large range of VG ones.
Flavour Art UK do some good ones too - customisable!
Vape Green have a few brands including Velvet Cloud & Virgin,
In the US, Heathers, Highbrow and Indigo, MBV, Velvet Cloud all do Max VG, and Cloudhouse do them in France in various US brands.

As for Chefs, they did say they'd continue supplying the Max VG for existing customers - (they do know I can't use much PG, so I'm very grateful!) - you'd need to ask them if they'll make some for you and then mark it in the instructions box when checking out.
Alternatively, you could get some base/nicotine and make your own using the concentrates. Chefs nicotine is in VG, and their VG is excellent quality. LT E Cigs provide a base that already has the nicotine in it at various strengths.

Nicoticket used to do a zero nicotine in max VG of CLS, CB and GCD. Sadly they don't do it right now. (I used to mix 20% of their 18mg ones with the zero, but for me, even that small amount of extra PG gave me problems)
