LaCie used to be well known for their excellent pro level monitors, but after this change to the s-IPS panel, they've lost that edge I think. Has to be the reason they aren't currently offering any. Their price wasn't more expensive than the Eizo equivalents. I'm seeing some good things said about the better Dell ones!
I do still have a LaCie Poulton external drive that I've had a few years now. I back up onto it every week. All being well, I'll ditch it later this year and use a new one (brand yet to be determined
). Website files are on a Samsung Story drive, but they're not made any more now! Everything's too fast moving!
I do like that FT keeps up to date with the latest brands and models, and as long as they get the stocking and despatch efficient again, I'll be happy to carry on using them.I know what you mean, but...FT provides real stuff. Like the Smart-20 in my hand. It is not simply collecting the rent on the "vaping nirvana" that the forum can help the reader to visualise (and indeed inhabit).

Had a busy couple of work days so couldn't pop by. Plus I went from a late shift to an early shift within the space of a couple of days. Totally screwed up my body clock, didn't know my ar*e from my elbow

My FT order with the Kuro coilers was dispatched today, via China Post, so lets see how long it takes this time.

Just missed out on a superb tiered vaping stand on ebay by £1 The auction finished today while I was still at work.
It had the top section for drip tips, the middle section for toppers and the bottom section for batteries and some smaller mods. Also came with 8 or 9 different drippers, some drip tips and a separate juice stand. Oh well, more money to spend at FT

I just looked at mine and it is still saying 16/01, the KF4 that i ordered with it has been RTS for a few days now, the coil master from Puff Palace turned up today and I was amazed at how small it is, shame they didn't mark the sizes on each of the winder bits which house the different sizes, but at least you get more sizes, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 & 3mm - be good to see the difference between these and the Kuro Koiler from FT.
Must admit Bob, I did bang in the order as soon as I saw them on FT. It's funny, I'd just been watching a review of them about an hour before. Plus the Lemo that's being shipped with the coilers wasn't supposed to be shipping until the 20th - so even better news
I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on the 2 devices side by side too. I ordered the 3 pack of coilers from FT - 2, 2.5 and 3mm. The 3mm will probably get used the most and occasionally the 2mm for twisted coils.

Mine went in 08/01 13:27 according to the email receipt, I got the set of 3 as well, on the bit that you turn there is a screw in one hole and another similar hole, the one that is closest to the middle post hole is for thin wires and the one furthest away is for thicker wires (don't know where it changes AWG/mm wise though) so you have to change the screw over if you change AWG/mm

Superb effects when that antimatter exploded ..made me think of some of the amazing ceilings that were painted centuries ago showing a glimpse into the 'heavens'!
Some good books have been made into films - the Bourne series for instance, and I've read all of Daniel Silva's books and think they'd make some very good films too!
In fact, I'm reading one right now: The English Girl, and pretty soon I'll be off to read my nightly pages until I start dropping off to sleep

Tonight I just tried 'Double Black' which is a coffee/tobacco one from SNG. Not nice when it arrived, but a few weeks on, a drop tasted of coffee and almond ...tastes like used coffee grounds & cardboard in a MOW on my iStick even at 6W, and that's higher than I like to use it!
I'll leave it in the tank overnight and see how it is ..they sometimes change left overnight like that.
I don't care for watching a film more than once ..I hate knowing what's going to happen next!
I enjoyed Skyfall (first bond film I've watched in over 20 years as I didn't like the Bonds after Connery - even he was a bit smooth for me too), and liked the Bourne films ..some of the best book adaptations I've seen.
Seen a few decent films in recent months including Harry Brown - very thought provoking regarding the times we live in.
