After saying I had nice tasting juice using the nano tank I started getting that burnt taste again.
Last night I phoned up my friend as she has quite a few different mods. Anyway, I went round her house and she tried my Subtank mini and Nano on her mods and she didn't get any bad tastes what so ever.
She then tried her tanks on my Subox..... and she got that burnt taste even though the Subox was set on 9.2W.

My Subox is authentic but is it possible that it could be firing higher than it is showing?.

I don't have the receipt so I can't take it back.

It is possible, the original iSticks suffered that problem, what resistance are your coils and what % PG/VG and nic/mg is your juice because 9.2w seems low for the Subox

Some nice looking tips being made by Vince(Vinces tips on FB) for the Aromamizer,i think it means sending your chimney section/top cap for machining 'tho.

They look nice, I'm not overly keen on shorties, prefer something a bit taller

The coils I use are 0.5 and 1.2. 50/50PG/VG. I'm now on 0 nic.

I've got through 5 coils since Sunday. I really hope It isn't my mod as that is the only one I have and I'm totally skint at the moment so I can't afford to replace it.
I really hope santa brings me one for Christmas.

@Pictor I made another batch of qop last night. A big one. And it's bad again. 30% mix made with 6mg nicotine. The mix is correct. I don't get what I'm doing wrong. When I made a small batch it was great. I wonder if making 100ml means it needs some steeping time compared to smaller bottles? Have you noticed qop benefits heavily from steeping. The best explanation I can give is that it's not very full flavored. The good batch you could taste the beer but also the pastry aspect. On the two batches that were bigger it's just a hollow sort of raspberry.

The mix I made was

6ml of nicotine (all vg)
30ml of concentrate
64ml of vg.

Pretty simple and easy to see the mix was 30%. I wonder if maybe one of my syringes is way off or something and that's the one I used on both of the lackluster batches. The 100ml measurement based on bottle fill compared to a premade Jude that shipped in it seems a little on the low side. But the juice maker who sent the bottle may slightly overfill to account for spillage or because they don't want people to think they're not getting their money's worth when they see a not full bottle (assuming the bottle is 120ml and the vendor sells 100ml sizes)

Have you experience a flatter tasting qop and if so did you add more flavoring? Allow it to steep? If the juice is too weak is that when its just berry and almost sour-ish? I'd think if maybe I made a mistake like left out 10ml of vg because I thought 54 instead of 64 that I'd find it too strong and taste everything.

I've only ever had the ready made so far (mine is in a VG base), and it's always been around a week steeped before I've tried it.
I've just got some 0mg QOP last week, so will try some later today when I get more time.

Guessing at this point a big batch needs a fair steep. I just don't know.

I did read somewhere (a supplier) that smaller bottles steep faster than large sizes. I doubt if I'd expect the proper flavour immediately from freshly made, so would put a little in a small bottle if you have one and definitely wait a few days.

Yes I know - the quotes were all over the place. I was trying to multi quote to Hooligan too, but it just kept using only one quote!
We had a FAP01 on the landing as smells and smoke would drift up from the hall, and it was very efficient, but always made the carpet grimy. Easily cleaned off funnily enough.
Don't have one up there now, just the Bionaire in here.

Juice is not a problem, thought you might be on high VG, recommended wattage for those coils is about 15-50w, so it sounds like it could be the mod, although googling doesn't bring up anything except lots of people with the same problem normally solved because they weren't priming the coils.

I know I primed my coils as I put juice on all 3 of the holes then I leave it for a couple of minutes. Then put it on my mod the suck 4 or 5 times without switching it on then start at a low setting.

I got it from RedJuice, I had £6.48 in rebate points, P&P was £2.95 for 1st RM (the Free was 2nd)
