If they move over to concentrates then the 10ml rule doesn't apply or even to zero nic ready-made, it is only juice containing nic that comes under that rule.

I can live with those options Bob.Hopefully they will still be there to supply.

Just been watching another upsetting vid on YT. Rumours of 57% tax on top of VAT on vaping products from May 2017.Got to keep off there,it's depressing.

I mentioned concentrates in the Deeming thread - I'm hoping some of the US vendors start offering them.

Got a new cafe opening sometime soon, just around the corner from me  can't wait to see what juices etc they will be selling and how good the staff will be.
Sounds interesting! :)

Twas this guy,he owns a juice biz in Yorkshire. So i suppose he's swatting up on new legislation.
See what he says about nic towards the end.
The Chinese nicotine at the end? - it's the danger of 'bootleg' stuff that's a threat to whatever we do end up being allowed to legitimately buy. If such items cause a lot of disasters and problems, they may just decide to ban the lot :(

Watching that video gives much food for thought ...he mentions flavours/concentrates needing to be tested. That must mean things like the ready to use pre-mixed ones such as Chefs Doughnut King for example - in that particular case, Chefs have already had all theirs tested.
The individual flavours from such as Capella and TPA will also have been tested already, so perhaps not a big problem.
New pre-mixed concentrates/ready to use liquids will definitely be costly to bring to market.

Nicotine liquid - he speculated on whether there'd be 10ml bottles of that available ...can't see it happening sadly.

I'm wondering if we'll still be able to buy the larger bottles of brands producing 0 nicotine liquids, and such as a few sites we've already seen in Europe that only sell 0 nicotine liquids, yet in all sizes.

It's the only way round the stupid 10ml restriction, and as I said on AAE-C manufacturers & suppliers "could" supply the correct amount of nicotine separately to add to the zero juice to in effect make your own % of nic juice.

...but would they be allowed to? I just can't see small bottles of nicotine being allowed.

Opens the doors for the Black Market and all the problems that causes, almost like going back to the 1920s prohibition era
As I said last night, too many 'disasters' with such goods, and they could just ban everything they possibly can - that way, imports would be easier to block.

I don't know for sure, but the maximum size is 10ml small anyway, and DIYers are going to need nicotine (when they eventually run out of their stocks in the freezer)

Obviously I'm not sure about that, but think the last thing they want people to do is DIY ...with nicotine. If I get enough nicotine to last around 20+ years, it'll no doubt easily see me through the future!
It would be nice if they did allow it though - better than nothing.

But banning or even just overpricing/overtaxing everything just makes it worse, black marketeers will always find ways of importing/making gear for those willing to pay - you only have to look at the amount of booze & fags that are being sold under the counter, some of it really dangerous as well.

You are thinking of Nicotine that is high in strength, the max allowed is only 20mg/ml or 2% Nic, nothing like the 72mg/ml or 7.2% that we have stored, and definitely not as dangerous as 100%

Perhaps I'm just too jaded by the way things have gone already - 'they' just don't seem capable of thinking rationally about all this - even when the obvious is staring them in the face.

I don't see how they can prevent or govern sale of 0 nicotine ready to use liquid (even though I've read of cross-contamination in production clean rooms), but as far as I can glean, we'll be restricted to no bigger than 2ml leak-proof tanks, no bigger than l0ml bottles of nicotine containing liquid, and who knows what equipment to vapourise it on!

No doubt there'll still be black market stuff that the unwary will buy.

I also wonder if the so far well trusted manufacturers may rush out new things before the restrictions begin - and perhaps some may not have been tested long enough.

Yes, I was thinking you meant 10ml bottles of the 72

I'm not averse to making zero nicotine liquids that match up pretty well with those that will be available in 10ml bottles and using them to add the nicotine ...so I'd buy 10ml of 2.0mg and just add it to an appropriate amount of zero to get the strength down to what I want. ...that way, my stored nicotine will last even longer :sneaky:

Now I need to know which mod brand/model that uses 18650's is the most robust as far as electricals go? I want to eventually get a couple more of those (box or cylinder) ...just in case available equipment starts getting very basic.
I'm happy with fairly basic tanks/coils (of which I have many new unused), but like a decent mod that doesn't need charging every couple of hours! :)

I have 1x100w iStick with two 18650's, and a Cloupor mini, 2xkBox minis, 2xSigelei minis - all taking one 18650. I like them all, the iStick and Sigelei being my favourites - for no particular reason.
One each of the Sigelei and kBox are already in my stash unused. I also have one Pico on the way.

Think you have just about covered them, just the eVic Mini to add to those...
