What? Not even when she used to be FANDABBYDOSEY.....;)

View attachment 570875
Especially not then ...in fact, she's not too far removed even now ....shiftier eyes perhaps ;)

She used to look like a Wookie - but then the "image" boys got to her.
'Image' ....is that what it is - OK.

There was bound to be a bit of dust kicked up over this decision. Fortunately there are more reasonable counsels (notably in Germany) whose voices will prevail over time. People keep saying that terrible things have happened to the Stock Market, but in fact they haven't. Things are settling down again already. The pound falling is wholly due to the usual betting that goes on by speculators when such a decision is in the offing. This, too, will right itself. Currency fluctuation isn't news - it is business as usual. The wailing from Main Stream Media is because, as part of the liberal elite, they have received a big kick in a delicate area.
We've seen the markets looking far worse than that thanks to lousy bankers and politicians turning blind eyes!
The sooner they stop whining and get on with the job in hand, the faster things will start to settle - but as is the norm, that's too simple - they need a think tank and a public inquiry before they even begin to act.

They need sacking Pipe.
They do - not fit for purpose ...and they can take her with them!

The petition is under investigation - Second EU referendum petition investigated for fraud - BBC News

The question of their origins was brought up on Press Preview last night, and Alex Deane said that a large number of IP addresses had been investigated and found not to belong to UK citizens. (or words to that effect)
This was shouted down and rubbished by the presenter, Mark Longhurst, and the other guest, Christina Patterson (who was an absolute pain last night - more so than usual!).

Perhaps the government needs to pay a little more attention to just who is participating in some of the petitions, as their progress and results could be a huge influence on others.

Elsewhere, it seems Sturgeon has been told that she cannot stay in the EU after we leave! She'll need to jump through all the hoops first ..and even then may not get in! NON! EU slaps down Nicola Sturgeon after she says Scotland can stay

....so, that's why she's saying she'll veto our vote result! Someone will bundle her off on a slow boat to the ends of the earth one of these days! (If she goes missing - it wasn't me, honest!)

Edited to add link.

@Brynglas

Yes. The difficulty could be that, were we to send a team for informal negotiations that represented the government, it's possible that the EU could consider that to be a "starting gun by proxy". I think a legal challenge to that would be easy, however.

I'm just thinking if the Conservatives elect a new leader from the remain camp?

I think that that is virtually impossible. The line-up might be: PM - Boris Johnson. Chancellor - Andrea Leadsome, Home Office - Michael Gove. That would be my dream team at this point. Remain should get jobs, but not in the front row.

As you might have guessed I'm a member of the Conservative Party. Our MPs decide who the two front runners are for the PM job - then the members get to vote for their preference. A very useful vote imho.

Rather that than be a frogs leg  saying which I had steak and roast tatties for lunch (dinner?) today :) after I got back from a bit of sales shopping, needed a pair of trainers and some sports wear for my trips to the leisure centre for some Cardiactive therapy, got to do something now to get the pregnant look down , and no it's not a beer belly as I don't drink much.

Well I didn't, I'm not a member of any political party, have never really had an interest, and where I live anything but a Labour vote is wasted, she always wins in my constituency (Harriet Harman), but I do notice that I always seem to have more to spend when the Conservatives are in power than when Labour are, not that I would vote Labour anyway.

The easiest thing is to cut out bread and potatoes. Try that for a couple of weeks and I'll bet that you'll feel better round the midriff. :)

I don't eat much as it is, one sandwich in the afternoon and a meal in the evening, problem is it's mainly the wrong type of food, most of the time I can't be arsed bothered to make a meal, rather just pick up something that I can bung in the oven, with a few frozen chips, croquettes etc (done in a halogen oven).

@Brynglas George just had a quick look at VS website and their DNA40 VF is $99 (cheapest is about £120 over here) and the price difference between the DNA40 and the DNA200 board is $20, and looking at the Mike Vapes Video, the unit looks to be the same, so I would be looking at paying no more than $130 (or £140 over here)

Halogen ovens are great! I use mine all the time. Why not roast a nice chicken and then eat it with gravy and peas? Sausages are great! Better two eat 4 sausages than 2 sausages and chips. If you do cook that chicken you can make a pan of curry with the left-overs, and instead of rice finely chop a load of cauliflower, cook & drain. This works and keeps the tummy down.

Ruth Davidson has taken legal advice and tells us that "blocking Brexit is not within the power of Holyrood".

Good! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
That's good! I did hear something to that effect on the special Question Time.
It's still not nice hearing her wicked threats

I'm just thinking if the Conservatives elect a new leader from the remain camp?
Perish the thought! I liked Theresa May, but it's thought that she did vote 'remain' ...yet her quietness suggested she wasn't that devoted to the notion.

I think that that is virtually impossible. The line-up might be: PM - Boris Johnson. Chancellor - Andrea Leadsome, Home Office - Michael Gove. That would be my dream team at this point. Remain should get jobs, but not in the front row.

Last thing we want as PM is a 'remain' - we want someone who will stand up to any negative attitude and coercion. Boris is definitely determined. How he'd be in the long term is another matter, but the present and immediate future is what's important.
I did say I'd never vote Conservative again, but think I'll go back on that notion. Took long enough to get rid of Labour.
I do get newsletters and other emails from Conservatives, but am not a member.

Because it was mainly a cholesterol issue for my husband, all we did was cut fat content down and stay on the sensible side with sugar - we both lost two clothes sizes ..thankfully it stopped because I came down to size 8 jeans!
Gone up to size 10 since I was ill ..the steroid tablets put a bit of weight on and it hasn't totally gone yet ...not bothered though :)
It's easy to do if you shop online because you can check the content of everything you buy easier than shopping in store (at least, I find it so).
We still eat decent size meals, just most of them carefully considered.

I like Harriet Harman, just don't want a Labour government.
Conservatives should stay sharp - they have very little opposition currently!

BRILLIANT !!!!!!!

The witch led us to believe she'd spoken to Brussels ..and it turned out when she was questioned on what they said, that she hasn't yet! ..and that's why she's turned her evil eye on trying to scupper the referendum result!

The easiest thing is to cut out bread and potatoes. Try that for a couple of weeks and I'll bet that you'll feel better round the midriff. :)
I once did that when I was in a hospital for a month where the food was excellent ...after 2 weeks, I'd put a fair amount of weight on, so where they provided two cooked meals every day, I cut bread out apart from a few tea time sandwiches, and potatoes & Yorkshire puddings on at least one meal each day. Worked very well!
