I know both Bob and George really get on with the steamcrave tanks but they did nothing for me, i just found them really harsh ! Hence me playing swapsies for the bellus :D

I've never actually vaped one using Kanthal, only Nife30 or 316l in TC (0h! and Ni200,back in the old days:D)
May possibly of had something to do with the harshness.

I have to agree there, I have only used TC wire in all mine, Ni (OCC), Ti, NiFe30 & SS316L

Yes quite possibly the culprit George :) Not sure what Vinny uses but this conversation should help him decide :)

Buying base can actually work out dearer in the long run, 1 litre of 72mg can make 6 litres of 12mg base/12 litres of 6mg and 24 litres of 3mg
Wow thanks for that Bob, i had no idea it could make so much ! Reckon i will be doing that now then :) How long have we got to stock up before the crappy law takes effect ?

From November it will get harder to find, Piratevapes has already said it is closing down, which was one of the best, one thing to make sure is to get it in no larger than 250ml brown glass bottles for the freezer (if you get VG nic it shouldn't actually freeze solid because of the viscosity, which is good for when you need to take say 50ml out of the bottle)

Thanks for your help guys, I decided to get the billow because it`s top fill and has the grommit to convert for single coil use.

I`m thinking of ordering the tesla stealth but thought I`d ask to see if anyone had an opinion on it or on tesla products in general.

I found the problem with the leaky orchid, I had the wick too tight , so it only leaked when it was in use, the rule of thumb "wick it till it squeaks" doesn`t work with the orchid

Sounds very similar to the Bellus Vince, can`t help with the stealth, though i was looking at a wooden one a while back but never took the plunge.

I have the Tesla Stealth 40wTC and it's not a bad little mod (and I mean little)

As for your leaky orchid too much wicking usually leads to dry hits rather than leaking, not enough wicking makes them leak, or if it is the type where the wick sits behind bars then the length of the wick can cause problems

I was looking at that model to fit in my shirt pocket without wanting to tip up, it should be okay in power mode with a lemo at 1.2 ohm for half a day.

Wouldn't bother with that one Vince.imo.:)
Me neither

Vapemail : My 2 KF 5`s arrived at long last, 19 bloody days from FT shipping ! Needless to say i won`t be using SG post ever again.
Not had time to build them today, but i did open one up to have a quick look and they do seem to be very good indeed, easy to build and operate etc, unlike the KF 4`s.

Thanks but I`m still looking at youtubes and reading reviews yet mate ... but I did pull the trigger on a cheeky tesla stealth and a conqueror to go with it, shinyitis strikes again .
Let me know if you decide to try the Crius vinny, i can sort you out with a couple for a few quids :)

Conqueror is not too bad, postless atty, quite easy to build on I found

@vapervince

If you fancy a Bellus, inc postage approx 50p dearer than FT,without the wait.

Bellus RTA - Silver
Not 100% sure George but i think he already ordered one, good find that though :) I built one of my KF`s earlier, 11 1/2 wraps of 316 SS @ 2.5 ID 0.7 Ohms. Wicked and filled, juice flow open 2 1/2 turns, airflow on max and what a bloody good vape :) I find it perfect for the way i vape George but suspect they may be a bit restrictive for you.
I would liken it to the Bellus when fully open, sorry i can`t be more helpful but the flavour this gives off is outstanding IMO :)

Thanks guys, yep the bellus is on the way and my missus says that if I order any more vaping gear this month there`ll be vapour coming out of a part of my anatomy that God never intended

Can anyone (Bob :thumb:) give me a heads up on the pros and cons of the multi strand compound coils ? I would have thought that they would take longer to heat up
