Hi Andy and Welcome here:)

fasttech is a good outlet.
I've only ever had one negative, and that was no fault of theirs.
China customs turned back an order, that only contained an rta:unsure:But FT credited me within 2 days,i simply reordered the item and it came straight 'thru on the second attempt.
You have to be a little patient, some orders can take a few weeks, but on average i'd say ten days. But the savings are worth the small delay.Just don't be in a hurry for anything you order.

Did you buy your counterfeit Pico in the UK?

Cheers for the welcome sir, and for the answer on Fasttech - good news.

On the Pico; it was an ebay job but from a UK supplier. Codes didn't match so I'm going through the process with ebay at the moment. That's fun in itself :nah:
Buyer beware

Looking at Torchy and fogstar for electricals(?)

Quick one - no one's used the Movkin Disguiser have they? I quite like the idea of it as I have a habit of smashing tanks. I can see myself having a couple of devices now, a larger one at home.
Even though it's a copy I quite like the size and features of the pico for out and about, although the 2ml tank is a bit small for a night out. Any tank thoughts welcome.

The other bit is that I'm going to start with my own coils so if anyone has any great preference for the Coilmaster 521 or Geek Vape 521 mini I'd welcome thoughts, or something else.

Lots of random thoughts there if anyone has any advice, but I'm looking through this and other forums. They seem to be a better source for reviews than youtube; I'm sensing most of them are slightly swayed by getting free kit.

Lot to learn with vaping it seems ;)

Can't help on the Movkin but i know it is very big.

Ecolux on e-bay is also a very reliable battery supplier.
I've had many batteries from FT,never a problem.(allow a month for delivery,as the only postal service is Swedish post).

I use a Coilmaster 521 and everything seems good,i have no experience of the Geek vape version.

I've also had some nice deals from Gearbest and they certainly seem to have upped their game. They used to have a bad rep for slow delivery, but recent orders have been quicker than FT.

Thanks or that- I did have ecolux before so will definitely look at them as well, and Gearbest.

Was leaning towards the coilmaster so that's a good answer. I see some fingernail pain in my near future.

Can't say how helpful it is to have people narrowing the field on this stuff, and all being kind about it. Good forum

Out of interest - what's your go to mod/ tank at the moment? Or top couple if that's the right question

Hi all,
New here but just had a quick question after 992 pages of posts on this thread and the old one.
Fasttech? Good to buy from? ;)
Many thanks in advance and a big hello
Hi Andy!
I agree - Fasttech are fine!

Had a couple of more basic things from Amazon, but do prefer Fasttech, or even MyEPack: Myepack.co.uk
For the more sophisticated mods and tanks, the others know where to get those :)

Hi all,

New here but just had a quick question after 992 pages of posts on this thread and the old one.

Fasttech? Good to buy from? ;)

I've got a few things to buy, a battery charger, kit for coiling, actually probably a whole new kit after my pico turned out to be counterfeit, so I'm looking at reasonable but reliable UK suppliers you use for hardware (I mix my own).

Happy to look through other lists or locations for this info but just feeling twice shy after being bitten. Also are there any good emails to keep on on UK deals?

I'm ok with amazon/ ebay if you know good people, just finding I'm going round in circles trying to find them.

Many thanks in advance and a big hello
Hi Andy, been out all day up at Vape Expo in Birmingham, welcome to this thread and the forum, If you are anywhere near Camberwell then you couldn't do worse than pop into Caffe Vape 8, Coldharbour Lane, good coffee and the staff there are very helpful and I might even be in also

Oh my! The mob's in town ;)
Did you have a good time - and was there anything particularly interesting? ....tomorrow will do if you're too tired after a long day :)

I keep getting a problem with Chefsflavours refusing to allow access due to the security certificate. It happens in both IE11 and Chrpme for me, and even if one page opens, it often prevents movement by bringin up the security cert. warning again. (The ChefsVapour site is fine).

Looks like it may be this: GlobalSign screw-up cancels top websites' HTTPS certificates

I've asked Chefs about this, but no doubt they already know if it's a fair sized problem.

Yes, it was a good day, but I do wonder why people own cars in London (5.7 hours round trip) could have done it in about 4 or less by public transport.

Element had a big stand, managed to pick up 3x10ml of one of their new ones (Fresh Squeeze + Crema), Kangertech aka Arymi were there and we all got given their latest TPD compliant tank the "Armor 2.0" - the Arymi range (I think Kt took over the company) appear to be quite good, I already have the "GillE" tank which I have been using for a while now
.
I had heard good reviews of Cornish Liquids on AAE-C, so took the lads to see them, and they were quite impressed by the range, they do 15 flavours and I came away with 13x10ml of them.

As for TPD compliance, it appears that quite a few of the big names in the US will be bottling them up over there before being sent over here, Naked Fish have now set up a distribution centre in Derby for their UK sales, and some of the distributors will be looking at creating packs of juices when they start running out of stocks of bigger bottles (after the 20/11, which is the magic date where by they cannot produce anything bigger than 10ml & 20mg nic), so something like 3x10ml instead of 30ml - but I can envisage price hiking, it just depends by how much.

We also visited UK Vapour Brands Ltd aka Totally Wicked :nah::nah::nah: we were not impressed with their spiel on how they want to take control of vaping imports and will stamp down on any "illegal" imports of Eleaf, Joyetech etc and then tried to con us into buying a 30w TECC variant of the iStick

Definitely looked like a force to be reckoned with! :D

I was in a cab perhaps 10 years ago, and the driver said exactly the same!
I totally agree - the public transport and cabs are by far the easier option, and much less obstructive.

Element had a big stand, managed to pick up 3x10ml of one of their new ones (Fresh Squeeze + Crema), Kangertech aka Arymi were there and we all got given their latest TPD compliant tank the "Armor 2.0" - the Arymi range (I think Kt took over the company) appear to be quite good, I already have the "GillE" tank which I have been using for a while now
I haven't tried much in the Element line ..perhaps one, and I recall it not being very flavoursome. Think it was Zen.
Be interested to hear about the new tank - if it uses coils of the resistance I'd use.

I had heard good reviews of Cornish Liquids on AAE-C, so took the lads to see them, and they were quite impressed by the range, they do 15 flavours and I came away with 13x10ml of them.
Again, It'll be good to hear what those are like! :)

I suppose at least the extra bottle cost will have to met, as well as more time filling the little blighters! Still, at least some will be available :)

What an attitude! Who do they think they are ..do they get points for diligence

0.5 for up to 40w - more for DTL - wide bore tip (which you cannot change)
1.5 for up to 15w - Not sure what size tip will be attached to that - as the tip is also part of the coil

might get round to those later in the week, Just finished testing my haul of 8x10ml Vape Sauce - Cloud Niners, which are fruits with a bit of chill, the blackcurrant one reminded me of Tunes® but all
quite nice 30/70: Cloud Niners | Product Categories | Vintage Vape Rooms
Just saw this: Bam Bam's Cookies & Cream Cannoli ..have you tried it?
I bought their first one which is a bit like Fruity Cereal (Key Lime ) topped with whipped cream, I have tasted the Cookies & Cream at the café and it's a bit like Oreos, again quite nice.

Ah - that tank! I don't like a fixed tips idea, but if the 1.5ohm are a narrow enough tip, I'll be tempted to try one. Thanks.

Not something I'd go for really - Tunes are sort of nice, but not what I think I'd like in an e-liquid.

I may give that one a try then - not sure about the lime one ...lime flavours and me don't always play nicely ;)

______________________________________________________________________

I was looking at Zapp Ecigs - The Home Of Vaping - Cardiff - UK when searching for who had the Cannoli Cookies & Cream (they have the original one), and also saw a couple of others new to me: Just Jam - I got the Original Strawberry Jam and the Raspberry on Scones, plus another by Fresh Juice called Clean Cream ...sounds like a very nice one for mixing down strawberry type ones etc. that make me wheeze!
I had wanted the Just Jam Raspberry Jam but no-one has any, so decided to give the strawberry one a try.
I see they also have the range of chefs High VG, including Doughnut King and Geeks:
Chef's Max VG

The reason I'm liking the jam types is because of Get Vape's own Get the best e-liquid upto 50% off | Best E-Juice - I tried their Vanilla Cream doughnuts and Red Jam, Scones & Cream - love that one (in fact both are good)! Emptied the 10ml bottle in a few days and ordered another - think it was the last one as I couldn't order more. I've asked if there's any chance of a larger bottle before the law changes!
It reminded me right away of the Chefs Queen of Puddings with a blackcurrant/raspberry jam taste, but doesn't make me wheeze! I can only use QoP sparingly because of that.
