I've tried a few coffee making machines, but not the one you mention Trish, but I keep coming back

to arabica beans, hand ground and steeped in a caffetierre. When I go to a cafe there are that many

different options I never know what to ask for and somehow always end up with that disgusting

half coffee half milk with the foam on top concoctions

EVKOO - just received a refund for my Vapor Flask order via Paypal - shame they didn't tell me the order has been cancelled, probably the supplier was having problems getting their version of Temperature Control to work correctly and gave up.

I certainly wouldn't shop there again Bob,after my istick fiasco.
They don't seem to realise when you order something, you would like to have it sooner, rather than later,if at all.
Never reallly liked the preorder/payup front system.
Still waiting on my VS from Elegant, mailed them Saturday, told, don't worry they'll be here soon.
Trouble is i could have bought one on Saturday, as another B&M have them in stock..

What's your opinion on TC Bob ? There's a guy in the APV discussion getting roasted

after claiming that all forms of TCless vaping can produce carcinogens

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you put the Dovpo through its' paces ? I'm made up with mine, it has

an mvp esque feel about it but I've put a 510 adapter on it cos the connector is some form of white metal

EDIT
Just had an email from FT confirming what you already told me

that the Dovpo does stop charging when the battery is full

Latte ? So that's what it is, its' not that I prefer strong coffee but I do like to taste coffee

I've tried asking for cafe au lait, cafe con leche and cafe blanco but it appears that they

all must be aternative names for latte

I see they are not even advertising it now, is it a clone and if so, which one, with LiPo or 2x18650 batteries and does it have the floating pin

As long as the Temperature is set to below the flash point of the wick then the wicking material certainly doesn't get scorched, although the coil eventually gets gunked up a bit it takes a lot longer to do so, so the wick lasts a lot longer as well. Until Dr. F has carried out his research on the affects of temp on liquids, no one can say what TCless vaping is doing or producing, some of the nasties have already been proven to be in the vapour but at such minuscule percentages that they are not worth worrying about.

Well have been vaping with it on and off the last couple of days with the Billow and it has not caused any problem, would be ideal for anyone who likes the MVP2 but wants more power and is not put off by it being a bit bigger by about 15mm taller and 10mm wider, no USB outlet and only in black or silvery/grey colours. I'll see how the connector wears on its own at the moment.

Is that with a different TC board then? I've seen the DNA40 vapor flask is on ukecigstore for £200+

Cafetiere coffee is great for a long coffee if the grounds are the right size I find. Too coarse and not strong enough or too fine and you get bits of coffee in the end product

I like taking the espresso the "3 cup" percolator (metal thing I posted the pic of) produces and then adding a bit of milk and a bit of extra water to bring it up to a small mug amount. It's still hella strong that way :toast:

I find the same Bob, coils take longer to get gunked although it is a bit trickier to de-gunk them if you just want to re-wick. Since I got the extra Ni200 wire sizes (27 and 28ga) I've started taking more care when wrapping the coils so they don't need much squeezing when in place. That way I only ever fire them in TC mode.

I re-coiled my veritas with 28ga yesterday and did a little experimenting to see what temp the japanese cotton started to char at. I fired it dry for 10 seconds or so then pulled it out and had a look. Turned up the temp and repeated. Over 460 I think it starts to get ever so slightly brown, although I was firing it at 30W and if you watch the temperature the coil does jump over the temp set for a second or so before it reigns it in so I reckon ... cotton is theoretically fine upto 470 or so, and of course when it's wet with juice, I think even the slightest amount will make a big difference. Taking the temp up it just gets browner and browner when fired until 600F when it is blackened.

Suits me fine as I like vaping it at ~450F and 25-30W. :)

Hardly the most polite way to deal with a customer.

Yes, I always go for Arabica ..a mix of Arabica and Robusta is always a little bitter for my taste.
One of our sons likes that Machu Pichu ground coffee from Tesco for his cafetiere, and I often get him a packet, especially when it's on offer.
Tesco also sell the Senseo type Morning Americano ground coffee - same as the pod coffee.

Depending on the coffee shop, that could be latte, café au lait or even a poor cappuccino. Grande means a large mug, skinny means it's skimmed milk.
Our favourite coffee shop chain is Caffè Nero, and in a Which survey, they came out best for both Cappuccino and Americano. The didn't test the lattes in that survey, but I've found theirs to have the best tasting ones with plenty of strong coffee in them.

Betty's make a lovely pot of coffee though with their house blend ..very nice with a piece of their fruit cake & Wensleydale cheese!

We have the Senseo Americano double pods on repeat order with Amazon, and before that the Douwe Egbert's Mocca Gourmet (it's not chocolate). We'll try the Dolce Gusto Americano this afternoon and see how it is.
So far, I'm impressed with the coffee for the Dolce Gusto.
I may never have tried theirs if that machine hadn't been so cheap in the Tesco sale though! At £29 and with a £10 voucher and 6 sample pods included, it was well worth it. The coffee is a good price from them direct and free delivery too.

All nice! :) Not sure if it's still there but there was a good coffee shop in Oban last time we were there - I always liked their vanilla lattés!

No, they're all different - depends how good they are at making coffee!

 Very true mate

Just got a ticket message from FT, saying they have received the faulty hana back.:) That was bloody quick, as i only sent it on the 30th ! Just waiting for the refund now, then i can get the sig ordered.
Brilliant! Good to have something work! Pity their shipping to here isn't that fast!

One of the trial packs of DG coffee we got is an espresso strength 9, and I think that'll be quite a versatile one for different sized cups/mugs.

those are actually names for coffee with milk/cream - see below

Espresso - ground coffee where water is sent through a pressurised system (Gaggia being one of the best) over the grounds for a limited time normally served in very tiny cups, you can ask for an extra shot to strengthen the taste of the coffee - this is the base for all the following:

Americano - where the water is allowed to continue pouring over the ground coffee until the normal sized cup is almost full (enough room to add milk - see Machiatto and cafe au lait)
Cappuccino - with a touch of steamed milk and lots of the foam
Latte - with lots of steamed milk and a touch of foam on top - some places call this a cafe blanco
Mocha - on it's own is an Americano with some Chocolate - some places do it as a Mocha Latte so Latte with chocolate
Machiatto - is the espresso version of the following with just a touch of steamed milk

cafe au lait (French) cafe con leche (Italian) - should be a filtered coffee with either hot or cold milk or cream but could be a Machiatto with a bit more milk, normally in French cafes you will get cream (like on a train) and if you ask for milk they normally give you hot milk unless you specify cold milk, of course in a greasy spoon it would probably be instant coffee :)

Café con leche is Spanish?

Brilliant! Good to have something work! Pity their shipping to here isn't that fast!

I think what really happens is, when you get the shipping email, all they have done is gone on the computer and downloaded the label with the tracking number issued by the shipper and put the parcel in the to be collected boxes and probably stay there until the box is full - it might be 3 or 4 days before the shipper collects the items and they start on their way here - having to go through export controls and our import controls (we export very few small items but import lots, China is probably the exact opposite exporting lots and importing very few small items)

Hey guys, I´m about to place an orden in fastech. I´m not a cloud chaser, i like to blow some clouds but i mostly like to vape on normal levels. I want a clearomizer, a box mod, a rda and a RTA.

Sounds likely - their despatched is definitely not what we think of as 'on the way'!

Our council stopped collecting garden waste in October!
Hope you hear something soon ...
...in the meanwhile, here's something to look at:
Bonhams : The Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction

Haha - so it is - it's what I have normally ordered in Rome and got what I wanted
The Italians have their own 'preciousness' regarding coffee anyway ...probably don't have anything like that, or possibly caffè bianco.
They possibly can't tell an Englishman from a Spaniard! ;)
I had to use the right term in Madrid by asking for con leche - it's a place with very little English unless young and decently educated.
I once asked for a dessert with cream ...they had to have the chef 'manufacture' some - it was a bit odd to say the least!

You'll want to see what the others opinions are, but I use the mini Nautilus and the MOW tanks with the Eleaf iSticks, and am very happy with them all. (All authentic versions).

I have a Cloupor mini 30W on order, but they aren't in stock yet, and are a new item on the market, so not much for reviews anywhere yet.
