The Italians have their own 'preciousness' regarding coffee anyway ...probably don't have anything like that, or possibly caffè bianco.
They possibly can't tell an Englishman from a Spaniard! ;)
I had to use the right term in Madrid by asking for con leche - it's a place with very little English unless young and decently educated.
I once asked for a dessert with cream ...they had to have the chef 'manufacture' some - it was a bit odd to say the least!

It is actually Cafe con Latte in Italian more commonly called Latte

Custard doesn't appeal to me mate

Unless it's with a nice treacle tart

I don't? Hmm ...could be good though - mine is around 16" long and as straight as a plumb bob! But, I think perhaps that's a drastic way to try for curls!

Stick with straight hair Trisha or use rollers - much safer

...and I had all of you to keep me moving forward! :thumb:
I can still happily use an Evod, but on a better battery such as an iPow, but my iSticks and MOW's/mini Nautili are what suits me fine! :)
It would take a lot to send me back to cigarettes, but it would be the health issues in my case ..and the continued search for my missing brain cells to join the 'dots' up!

That's what we're here for, besides poking fun at each other :D

Afraid I can't help with the missing brain cells though

You're gonna have to give us some feedback on that

There will be a full report to follow shortly Bob :D

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...and completely off on a tangent - I got us a Dolce Gusto Jovia dark red coffee maker for £29 in Tesco's sale last week (less than half price!) ..it's very good! So far, we like the Grande (full mug of rich coffee), the Latte Macciato unsweetened, and the Espresso Barista. Got the Americano, Decaf and Hot chocolate to try yet! There's others too.
We've used Senseo Morning Americano double pods and Mocca Gourmet for years, so this Dolce Gusto makes a nice change.
They sold out of the red Jovia ones but still had black at £39 last time I looked.

I'd love a decent coffee maker, but to be honest, I don't drink a huge amount of coffee - about 3 cups per day. The Wife on the other hand is a coffee fiend

I do like the Nescafe Alta Rica coffee though - nice and strong and rich tasting.

Ah well!We can't all be the same.

At least you get what you order 'tho mate

The World would be really boring George, if we all liked the same thing :)

Terry wouldn't have anything to moan about then :laugh:

Hey guys, I´m about to place an orden in fastech. I´m not a cloud chaser, i like to blow some clouds but i mostly like to vape on normal levels. I want a clearomizer, a box mod, a rda and a RTA.

For the clearomizer i´ve been thinking in the nautilus mini.$23.76 Authentic Aspire Nautilus Mini BVC Clearomizer - 2.0ml / 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

For the RTA i´ve chosen this $26.58 Kayfun Lite Plus V2 Style Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5ml) - 1:1 clone / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

For the box mode:
$54.47 H-ANA MODZ Pack DNA 50 Style Mod - 7W-50W / 1*18650 / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

RDA:
$10.49 Tobh Atty V2 Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomzier - 1:1 clone / stainless steel / black plated at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Does anyone think i should choose other models or skus?

As Bob has said, the IPV is a good choice too. Just make sure you've got some decent 18650 batteries and a good quality charger.

Apart from that, looks like you're good to go with that order :)

My teaching session

Just over 2 hours in total.

My workmate arrived, mod and dripper in hand - I took one look at it and said send it back

It was a 26650 mod, couldn't see a makers name on it, just had a weird logo on the fire button. The dripper was a 26mm Vulcan dripper, for a triple coil set up

I told him it was totally unsuitable, unless he wanted to vape straight VG only, or risk frying his lungs. The dripper only had 2 post holes drilled, when it needed all 3 drilling, so it couldn't be used anyway.

After a bit of a lecture on safe vaping and what he wanted to get from vaping, I showed him the iStick and Kayfun set up. But first I let him try my dual coil orchid, he nearly choked on it. I said, if that one is too harsh for you, then a triple coil will be worse still - that convinced him.

So after a long tutorial on coils and wicks, I set up a Kayfun Lite for him at 1.6 ohms popped it on the iStick and he was really happy with it. He's trying it out for a week and if it works out he can pay me for the set up then. I used the organic Japanese cotton that he'd bought separately for wicking and showed him how to a dry burn, change the wick and what to do if he got a dry hit. He was using some Unicorn Blood from Fuzion Vapours that he'd got for Christmas - I was surprised how VG heavy it was - really thick liquid.

He didn't have any batteries (apart from Duracell ) for the mod, or an ohm meter, or a charger.

So the session ended well :D

----------------------------------------

Only problem is, I've now lost my Blue iStick and a decent Kayfun Lite Plus clone from my back up vape gear - looks like I'll have to visit FT again

Just done a quick Google - Reddit and Facebook both seem to give EVKOO bad reviews. Looks like they do Group buy then ship out orders - some posters had been waiting 3 months for shipments to be processed

Well, I won't be dealing with them, at least I didn't lose any money, just time wasted

..As long as you don't ask for 'latte' in Italy - you'll just get a glass of milk

Nice in a trifle! ....wonder if anyone remembers the vanilla slices from local bakeries back in the day before these sloppy custard type slices appeared. The vanilla slices were filled with a thick custard that had set properly- not like the fluffed up excuse for custard they use now. I reckon they must have been 1.5 inches thick too.
I've always liked custard :)

Stick with straight hair Trisha or use rollers - much safer
Apart from the odd curly perm down the years, it's always been straight, so suppose I'll need to keep it! I do use hot rollers once a week after washing it!

That's what we're here for, besides poking fun at each other :D
Some days, amongst the intellect, it's like a tennis match of insults being lobbed back and forth ....hilarious! :D

Afraid I can't help with the missing brain cells though
Duh! Thought you'd at least know where I'd find a few!
Seriously though - its too much of a coincidence not to be smoking related - whatever was in cigarettes fired up the creative side of my brain and kept me totally motivated & absorbed. Now it's all I can do to piece a composition together in less than a day!
I have a number of day and night supplements that are good for increasing serotonin and dopamine etc., so I'm going to start taking them every day for a few weeks to see if they help. Even the nurse agreed it was likely down to not smoking as something in the tobacco is a very active brain stimulant, and she hadn't read the articles that I have on the subject. Probably affects some more than others.

I'd love a decent coffee maker, but to be honest, I don't drink a huge amount of coffee - about 3 cups per day. The Wife on the other hand is a coffee fiend
Well, we've got a Gaggia and now two of the pod machines, and I like the pod machines for their easy use, cleaning and decent coffee. The Gaggia is stored away now!
Tesco still have the black version of the Jovia (made for Nescafe Dolce Gusto by Delonghi) for £39, but the red one was back up to around £80 after they sold out of the special offer ones. You get £10 off coffee from the Dolce Gusto site (cheaper than Tesco!) and a box of 6 samples in the box.
I only drink one coffee each day usually - but it's a large one!

I do like the Nescafe Alta Rica coffee though - nice and strong and rich tasting.
If that's an instant, I haven't had instant coffee since I was at work in the 80's! I only started drinking coffee again when we got the first Senseo machine around 10 years ago.

They collect all year round here trish ! :)
We have the bins emptied all year round, but garden waste is April to October.
And them bikes are well out of my price range  Some really nice vintage ones though
Well I didn't mean for you to buy any!
I see lots of nice Chinese artefacts and fine art on Sotheby's and Bonham's auctions, but have never bought any of it!
I tend to buy the chipped or cracked Chinese porcelain from an antiques dealer who buys direct from China. It's a lot more now, but when I was buying mine, it was excellent prices because he mainly sold to the trade then.

I like the look of that Ducati Supermono :D Probably be a bit more of a comfy ride than the vintage ones too
For me, the best ones were 60's - early 70's :)
Used to be a chap around the corner here with two Ducati's: a red one and a yellow one!

I'm pretty certain that another tutorial will be needed when he comes to re-coil it. I did run through the process a couple of times with him, so we'll see what happens :)

To be honest, I quite enjoyed doing it. I'll have to start night classes in coiling

Well, I won't be dealing with them, at least I didn't lose any money, just time wasted

It's still annoying though when you've done the research on the product you want, spent time finding the best deal, then they mess you about like that.

The new 30 & 50 watt isticks were announced today, just the specs, haven't seen any prices or a launch date

A Chinese company is claiming that it is about to launch a mod with temperature control for any coil !!!

Vinnie, any idea if the sizes have changed on the 30 & 50 watt models mate ??

If the 50 watt is the same size as the old 20 watt one and the price is right, I could be tempted :)

Nice in a trifle! ....wonder if anyone remembers the vanilla slices from Sparks back in the day before these sloppy custard type slices appeared. Sparks vanilla slices were filled with a thick custard that had set properly- not like the fluffed up excuse for custard they use now. I reckon they must have been 1.5 inches thick too.
I've always liked custard :)

I'm a bit strange with custard. I love it hot, or cold in a trifle, but not cold in a custard slice. However, if it's more on the vanilla side, then I like those custard slices.

Told you I was strange

Apart from the odd curly perm down the years, it's always been straight, so suppose I'll need to keep it! I do use hot rollers once a week after washing it!

I wish mine was long enough to put in rollers. In fact, just having a full head of hair would be a bonus

Some days, amongst the intellect, it's like a tennis match of insults being lobbed back and forth ....hilarious! :D

Never a dull moment :D

Sorry I can't share any of the 2 brain cells I've got

Let us know how you get on with the supplements Trisha, we'll all keep our fingers crossed for you :D

I'll tell the Wife about the Pod machines, thanks for the info.

You're right, Alta Rica is an instant coffee. It is a nice one, but I'm no coffee expert. It is made from 100% Arabica beans - I've just checked the label

For me, the best ones were 60's - early 70's :)

I do prefer 4 wheels myself, but some bikes are just so sexy looking. They look like their going a 100mph just standing still.
