Also don't tell Trish but a certain item is up on FT
Yes, saw it earlier. Not enough difference with what I already have, so I'll wait for the 50W :)

I think she's like me Adam waiting for the 50w as it doesn't have the reknowned iStick problems
True! :thumb:

Sorry Bob maybe you've already said this before but is it confirmed the 30W does still have mean voltage like the 20W and that the 50W will not?

Also will they have step down?
I posted this some days ago after finding it on the Originvape site - the part about the accurate voltage & metering. Remains to be seen if that's actually so though.
https://originvape.com/product/eleaf-istick-50w/

Short circuit protection
OLED display
Automatic shutoff after ten seconds
Pass through capability!
Stainless threading
Spring 510 connector
Low voltage protection
Reads resistance down to 0.2 ohms!
Up to 50 watts
Comes with non-native charging cord
Comes with non-native Ego adapter
Voltage range 2.0v – 10.0v
Wattage range 5W – 50W – accurate voltage and metering
Output in DC current and RMS combined

4400mAh capacity battery

They don't say that for the 30W:

Ah yes that bit about RMS sounds promising!

according to BAVapes 30w still has mean voltage, still no news on step down, but assuming it is like the 20w, from what has been said elsewhere the 50w is supposed to be better on both fronts, but will have to wait for someone like PBusardo to do a review - I will still get a 50w one when they come out, but not bothering with the 30w

EDIT: see that Trish has posted the spec bit for the 50w

Old Ian is in and out like a fiddlers elbow.
Here one minuite gone the next. :D

It's work George, keeps getting in the way of my forum time

And less of the old please :p

Gotta say, i am rather enjoying the chefs apple pie and cream ! nearly emptied a lemo in a couple of hours

Are you sure you put the fill hole grommet in properly :laugh:

Well thats me logged out for 4 days then

Good, you've been posting too much anyway :p

Guess I need to post more, "Doing a Burnie" is becoming a popular term for a lurker.

We know you're still around though Burnie, that's the main thing :)

...not when I'm stepping into the unknown  - want to see what they're like first. With a 5ml there's not much hardship either ditching or mixing with something else. One or two are 10 or 15 though.
Just got 130 of Doughnut arrive from Chefs today though :)

Don't blame you Trisha, test the water first before diving in :)

I got one of my two mini iSticks today - very neat but still sturdy. Display on a circular window on the top. Only operates in V, and shows the battery percentage left, length of draw in seconds, and the voltage when one of the up/down arrows are pressed.
Being on the top, the dratted lit up window annoyed me at first, but I've stopped noticing it now.
It's great for when one of the full size ones need charging - be good to take out for a couple of hours too.

How does it look with different tanks on it Trisha - is there much overhang, or is it a similar depth as the 20 watt iSticks ??

I've been taking my lemo to work for a few days and I find I get through almost the whole tank while I'm at work, vaping at 20-30W with the air fully open. It's tasty though compared to my kayfun so I think I use it more (and it uses more juice for sure).

Same here Adam. 2 Lemos on 2 iSticks for my work set up now. I'm really happy with how well their performing so far :D

Looks like another few days and the 50 watts should start appearing. As soon as they do I'll be ordering one or two.

Just too much trouble keeping it up to date so just my quit one now

Is it because you ran out of space on the siggy Bob

iStick 50 Prototype peeps!

I think the 50w is nicer and more worth the price than the 30. The looks doesnt change much from the original 20w one hehe!:vapor:

Same here Sarah, I keep checking daily to see when the 50 watts appear on FT :D

Ian, Kuro Koilers and KF4 now both RTS, so should get shipping email later today.

Excellent news Bob :)

Mine shipped on the 13th by China Post. Still not showing up on track17 yet though.

Got some mail yesterday, but not vapemail.

Ordered a cheapo watch for work (from a Chinese seller on ebay). Ordered on the same day as my MP3 player - so that's pretty quick, just over 2 weeks shipping.

Wasn't expecting much for £12, but I'm really impressed, everything works on it :

Alarm
Stopwatch
Dual time - Analogue and LCD
Day, Date, Seconds.
Luminous display.
Backlight
It's even got chimes for the hours etc - just like Big Ben

For that price, I don't mind if it gets scratched - I was always worried about damaging my Rotary watches when I wore them for work.

I more or less had everything I wanted with Chefs and a few NT MaxVG added, but not much around from NT in Max VG now (less than before), so trawling around looking for a few different or really good ones is tiresome and time consuming.
If I don't find a few soon, I'll give up and just keep to my favourite Chefs! :thumb:

As far as brand is concerned, both Heathers & Highbrow are looking fairly good, and MBV also have a couple I really like!
A couple of rather nice ones from SNG, but not sure they'll be 'must haves'.
Avant Garde make a really nice French Vanilla, and I have three more of theirs to try too (Custard, Berries and a Strawberry one).

I'm curious more than anything else where custard is concerned. Quite happy with what I have ;) If a strawberry/cream isn't forthcoming, I'll stay with the Strawberry Vapetto. I do want a Vanilla, and perhaps a couple of NET based flavoured tobacco ones, and a simple, rich dark chocolate, something similar to butterscotch pudding, and something like a Crème Brule ...got something similar that seems good from SNG.

No different at all Ian - it's exactly the same with an inch off the bottom!
This photo is the full size ones with a MOW tank and a mini Nautilus, so imagine them an inch shorter :)

Company supplied us with watches, but they were always useless, even the radio controlled ones, I used to buy a Casio radio controlled digital for use at work, and kept my better one for other times, the one I mainly use these days is a Mondaine (Swiss Railway watch), it's not radio controlled but hasn't lost a second since I bought it about six months ago.

Phil reviews the Cloupor Mini, I haven't watched it all yet, but right at the beginning he mentions about the problems with the Kanger Sub-Tank Insulator.

Just watched this as well. Think the cloupor mini might be going in my FT basket soon. For the price it seems really really good. I want a little 30W 18650 mod for work so I don't have to take the rDNA 40 all the time.

I'm looking forward to trying mine ...should be here pretty soon! :)

I also saw a POTV review that makes it look pretty good too! Compared favourably with the Vaporshark rather than the iStick which he'd intended comparing it to!

FT's site still says 'ships in 20 business days' same as it did when mine did ship.

Think my Black one is showing as 9th Feb, T8 is RTS and the 2 Lemo Drops are due to ship 21st, don't know if they will split the shipping or not.
