Lets have it right pipey, High end clones you mean ?

Nothing wrong with finding a nice cheap way to vape. I get the feeling sometimes, however, that it's just playing with new toys. When they don't work, stuff gets chucked out of the pram.

Just a thought. :)

Yep definitely rayon dave :) I do have some ... cotton, but tend to go with rayon 99% of the time ! Ian, i will trade you some ni200 wire for some more rayon mate, i`m running a tad low

It's a deal mate. How many feet do you want this time :D

cloud9vaping also have the rayon in stock, but it's £1 per foot there

I've been looking at drippers this week.It would be the first i bought,if i could make a decision.
Don't want massive clouds but i would like great flavour.

I'd say go for one with a large juice well, that way you're not having to top it up constantly. Also, the smaller the chimney section the better, this helps with flavour too. There's quite a few, but I do like the Odin. My Odin is modified to be a bottom feeder, so I can use it on the Reo, but they also do a standard dripper option too (plenty of clones as well) :)

Do you think Ian can 'rescue' it?

Miracles performed on a daily basis
I have a feeling most of them will need two rapid coats for the best result. I seem to remember one of the thicker 'one coat' ones being hard to apply because it was starting to dry before it levelled, so was quite uneven.

I remember when they used to make gloss paint that was as thick as treacle, only ever needed one coat of that stuff. Used to stink up the whole house for at least a week though

You haven't seen my stash of NT! There were some I really liked, and because most were the short run ones, I stockpiled them ..only to find that I can't tolerate that much PG even diluted with a Max VG.
I'm expecting some PG free to arrive soon and will try them diluted with those!
Others were short runs in Max VG, so of course, I stockpiled those too and am using them sparingly to make them last :)

My stash is coming down a bit now. Still in the litres stage, but not as much as last year

Don't forget, we were talking about being a glutton for punishment, as in excess hard work! Still, you got it done and still have some time off, so perhaps the sage would say something like 'hard work leaves time for relaxation'! :thumb: (As long as you didn't wreck yourself in the process)

I think my problem is, I always underestimate the amount of time I need to do a job. But usually when I get started, I knuckle down and put a good few hours in. Makes the relaxation part that more enjoyable afterwards :D

I'm still trying to persuade myself into a painting smock ...lab coat is way down the line! I was thinking more of a few drops of vanilla tahity and the same of coconut cream - nothing more adventurous than that. I think it'll be a good one to add things like raspberry, strawberry or even chocolate to ..in fact, there's a lot would go with that for variation.
I'm looking forward to them getting the other Certified Interstate ones!

Vanilla, coconut and cream can seem to liven up most juices. I tend to use one or more in all the DIY mixes I make up.

Ten years? Let's hope I still have a memory by then, let alone remember that!

I'll pop a post-it note on the fridge then to remind me

Oh dear ...I can see the headlines now: 'Bus driver bans passengers on his bus' :D ....you may not like your clients Ian! Apart from that, it sounds pretty good! :)

I'd ban 99% of them if I could

Thanks Adam they're sold out on myepack ATM I'll do a bit of searching for the best deal.Would like to get one for £25 with postage

I see 3FVape have them for about that price, postage will take a while though coming from China.

Well so much for these people who promise to ring you back to repair a computer - not one ever called back, so ended up getting one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Ser...8&qid=1423920326&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+h80i

and installed it myself earlier today after it was delivered - had looked at the YT vids and it looked quite easy and apart from one little part where I could have done with a third hand it was very easy, so I now have the main 'puter up and running at an even lower temperature than when it was new 32 now 40 new.

You've probably saved yourself a few quid too Bob. Glad you got it sorted finally mate :)

One thing I've noticed here about all the high-end toppers that people are playing with. They all seem to need a lot of tweaking. Do any of them just work? Or is the fun in the tweaking?

You can't beat a bit of tweaking. Life would be so boring if everything just worked perfectly all the time

It's great that not only is it fixed, but running better too!
Mine has never run hot ..barely warm in fact, and is always quiet. Had a slightly noisy start-up a few times, but it goes after a minute.

I'd hate to use a laptop/notebook ...and perish the thought of using a tablet or phone!
I have to have something powerful anyway for my work - often have a few heavy duty programmes open at once, and definitely need the large screen monitor. I'll need to do some homework about pro series monitors ..want one that doesn't need tinkering around with using colorimeters/calibration! (First LaCie I had was brilliant out of the box!)

This is the original spec for my computer:
Intel Core I7 950 D0 Processor
Akasa Nero Quiet CPU Cooler
Asus P6T SE motherboard
ATi Radeon HD 5670 512MB Graphics Card
Cooler Master CM690 II Black Case
Quiet Cooling Fan Upgrade pack
OCZ 600W Power Supply
12GB PC3-12800 DDR3 Memory
Sony 24x DVD-RW
80GB Intel X25-M SSD Drive
2 x 1000GB SATA 7200rpm Hard Disks
Internal Card Reader Drive
On-board High Definition Audio
Windows Professional 64bit OEM
Windows optimisation

Only change since has been the ATI graphics card needed changing and I got Nvidia instead.

All in all, I am rather fond of my computer, and like you, would not want to be without it! :)

I would never change a Radeon for Nvidia as I think the latter are not as good, it's one of the main things that slows a computer down, so you should get as much video memory as possible

Sometimes they get thrown - but a lot of the time they can be tweaked to how you like them, the main thing is that buying the clones means you are not losing tons of money only to find out they are crap - you only have to look at the difference in cost of the Kayfun 4 and it's clones to see what I mean

Let us know how it goes,i was looking at the Marquis but thought maybe it was a big step for my first dripper. It's vertical builds isn't it.

Yeah if you use the rods it comes with to place the coils (which I definitely intend on doing) it is vertical coils or chimney coils (where the cotton goes on the outside of the coil, which i've never tried) but those rods should make it easier to set up.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I've just ordered a full size Subtank from 3FVape. Fancy something different to try, plus it should go well with the DOVPO when it arrives, or maybe I'll stick it on the IPV, don't know yet

Was exactly £25.05 with the conversion rate. Plus they should be able to get it posted before CNY, unlike FT.
