The beauty of that wire though, is how soft it is, and there is no spring to it. So any slight kink can easily be straightened out.

I think all the different versions were just pre release beta types and that all the retail subtanks have the same occ coils. They're really impressive, I watched all the reviews saying how good they were and was still surprised at how good they are.

I got that impression from Phil's video too. He did a bit of a comparison of the OCC heads he had. I watched about 4 different reviews and they all raved about them. I was going to go for the 22mm version, but decided on the 25mm instead to go on a box mod or two. All the reviewers seemed to prefer it over the Atlantis too.

Ian i know you asked me to say how long this NI build would last. Well the answer is 1 week exactly. Only because i knackered it up by pulling the wick though I was treating it just like kanthal, pulled the wick, and that coil was totally screwed !
So will have to start again from 15th, when it happened !

If it's one week of heavy usage then it's not bad still. I'll remember to treat it with kid gloves though when I use it. So that's one good thing to come out of this, I can learn by your mistake
Did the coil look gunked up much though before you pulled the wick ??
