If it's one week of heavy usage then it's not bad still. I'll remember to treat it with kid gloves though when I use it. So that's one good thing to come out of this, I can learn by your mistake

Did the coil look gunked up much though before you pulled the wick ??

I wouldn`t say heavy use Ian, about 1 hour a day solid lung hitting The coil still looked like new, apart from some dis-colouring, definitely no gunk though Think i will try it in a lemo at weekend, so still no data for you RE: how long the coil lasted.

Well that's a bonus then if there's no sign of gunking. That's the biggest problem I have with all my coils, they gunk up pretty quickly, especially with all the dark/sweet juices.

So back to the drawing board on data then

Hope they have'nt lost it mate,tracking hasn't changed since it left China 8 days ago.

See today svoemesto are realeasing an upgrade spring for the JC on th V4.Gold plated and stronger.They've had trouble with reports of fluctuating ohms.
And someone in the States now makes a Nano kit for the 4.

In my experience they gunk up probably similarly to kanthal builds, maybe a bit less, although it's not hugely different in my opinion. I've seen people online saying they reckon the nickel builds gunk up significantly less though. I think if you wrap your coil spaced out a bit it gunks up less, I wrapped one tight and it gunked up pretty bad.

Also thought I should mention that I'm now not so sure about the tip I gave as to dry burning it. I said to turn TC off and fire it at a low power like 10 watts but I've had a couple of disasters doing that lately.

One I did that to get rid of gunk and rewicked it and it hasn't performed the same since, seems to hit the temp limit too quickly and I get way less vapour. Another I did that and the Middle of the coil sagged down due to the heat [emoji23] which was a write off and I had to recoil it.

So be wary using that technique.

Yes i read that some folk were reporting problems with the spring George, no problems this end though. Was yours shipped via SG ? Because mine was the same. But as soon as it said arrived in UK, it was delivered next day. I thought you said a few days ago that yours was in the UK now ?

Yep i did. It went straight in the recycle bin. If i want any more MBV trish, i will be getting them Direct !

Can't understand the tracking what do you make of this mate

Well that`s another re-coil for me now then Adam I`ve been doing mine how you originally suggested with the TC off and pulsing, after a new build. I did notice the TP kicking in real quickly, and as you say, less vapour than i would expect !

I also have read since, and seen YT video`s which recommend NOT pulsing or dry burning Seems we are still on a bit of a learning curve yet ! You tried yours yet George ?

I'm feeling a bit that way too - there's a couple of SNG that I like ..I'll think about it and may buy the concentrates for them instead of ready to use.

Still don't understand the week or longer on the coils, I replace mine every 2 or 3 days, depending on when the flavor changes. I like a fresh coil, for a fresh flavor of my liquid. It cost next to nothing to pop in a fresh coil & wick, so I just replace it and vape on.

Like Terry said looks to me like the last tracking was it leaving China. Thought I'd add that sometimes it doesn't get scanned upon arrival in the UK and will turn up at my door without the tracking having been updated any further than what you've got there.
