Still don't understand the week or longer on the coils, I replace mine every 2 or 3 days, depending on when the flavor changes. I like a fresh coil, for a fresh flavor of my liquid. It cost next to nothing to pop in a fresh coil & wick, so I just replace it and vape on. :D

Are those ready made or ones you build yourself, if they have silica in them then instead of replacing them wash them then dry burn them to get rid of the gunk, if they are cotton or rayon builds then remove the wick and dry burn the coil to clean it up and just replace with a new piece of wicking material.

By rights coils should last weeks, it's the wick that doesn't last as long.

The coil is still working fine, but even after dry burning, it taste different, sorta burnt taste, and it is just quicker to pop in a whole new coil. The only PITA is when I am wicking with rayon, have to get just the right amount of wick.

I find with the odd pre-built ones I use these days, which are Vertical coils cannot be dry burnt, so they just get dumped and I use a fresh one, but all the others I just pull the wick out throw it, take everything apart and stick it in the ultrasonic cleaner and when dry give the base with coil a dry burn, give the coil a brush off with an electric razor type brush, until the coil looks nice and clean then re-wick it and put it all back together again, very rarely have a problem doing that, if you are getting burnt taste it means too much wicking material stopping the juice getting to the coil and/or the wick is blocking the juice channels

1st class mail supposed to be delivered next working day - a joke - no vapemail today even though my KF v4 was sent yesterday.
It is a joke, but there's always a 'get out clause':

Although we aim to deliver Royal Mail Signed For™ 1st Class the next working day, we are unable to provide a guaranteed service. For guaranteed next day delivery we recommend Special Delivery Guaranteed™. We aim to deliver 93% of 1st Class mail the next working day.

Wonder why we mostly fall into the 7% category

Vapemail.....he was early today, no tea breaks...
80ml of Digbys(mums cuzzy and the king).
Lovely!
I had something sent from London yesterday, but it's not here today!

Aw look! It really is that unmentionable isn't it! Must have been bad!

Regarding the 8x10ml bottles according to we've got the post office to blame for that aswell.
The bigger bottles won't fit thru' the small package slot at the P.O so it would cost twice as much postage, surely 8 small bottles weigh more than two big ones but they don't solely go on that anymore.

At an extra £2.80 for Special Delivery and I think they got the percentages the wrong way round, it's amazing how they can always deliver the junk mail though.

Without fail! I bet the junk mail senders don't pay sixtywhatever pence per leaflet/letter like we do either!
Last year, I posted a cheque to my bank branch on a Tuesday - it arrived the following Tuesday! Had another take four days.

Twas yes, Think of nuts again trish, and i`m not talking about george

Before Chefs got the new website, there was a page with postage options, and it was up to 16 10ml bottles for ?£1.99 I think it was. Yet 1x30ml was more expensive. Seems all about size and not weight now.
I do wish the people could vote on privatisation - no-one wanted it surely.
Why couldn't we keep it as it was ..it worked fairly well!

No chance if they are the V4`s mate

You can't have all the V4's you know, about time you let us V4virgins have a try

In my experience they gunk up probably similarly to kanthal builds, maybe a bit less, although it's not hugely different in my opinion. I've seen people online saying they reckon the nickel builds gunk up significantly less though. I think if you wrap your coil spaced out a bit it gunks up less, I wrapped one tight and it gunked up pretty bad.

Also thought I should mention that I'm now not so sure about the tip I gave as to dry burning it. I said to turn TC off and fire it at a low power like 10 watts but I've had a couple of disasters doing that lately.

One I did that to get rid of gunk and rewicked it and it hasn't performed the same since, seems to hit the temp limit too quickly and I get way less vapour. Another I did that and the Middle of the coil sagged down due to the heat [emoji23] which was a write off and I had to recoil it.

So be wary using that technique.

Cheers Adam. To be honest, I do tend to re-coil a lot more than dry burn. I really only dry burn when I'm a bit short on time. But with my super duper Kuro coilers I should be able to knock out a NI200 coil in no time :)

I'll try a slightly spaced coil as well see how that works out. Thanks for the info though mate, much appreciated :)

Still don't understand the week or longer on the coils, I replace mine every 2 or 3 days, depending on when the flavor changes. I like a fresh coil, for a fresh flavor of my liquid. It cost next to nothing to pop in a fresh coil & wick, so I just replace it and vape on. :D

I think a lot of it depends on the juice type too Burnie. Thicker/darker/sweet juices do seem to gunk up coils a lot quicker. I think some folks who say they get months out of a coil are probably vaping unflavoured nic juice or tap water

I'd say the same thing about my job too Trisha. All the older Drivers at work tell me, the job was a hell of a lot better pre-privatisation.
