What do you think of the battery life on your flasks.
Seems to deplete very quickly to me.I took the tank off my flask and used it on the sig, both have a pair of new vtc4's in them and the sig lasts twice as long as the flask.I'm charging the flask baterries daily when i use it, seems a bit excessive for dual 18650's.Am i doing something wrong?

Exactly the same here George, and no you aint doing Nowt wrong mate. I reckon the Flasks just burn through the batteries, especially with the super low ohms :) Probably get the same length of time as your sig if it was a plain kanthal build on your VF.

I just run mine with one battery now, that way i am not waiting for them to charge up every few hours, one out, one in. simples. :toast:

Oh dear- Terry's been making tanks out of old chimney pots again and passing them off as Orchids!

I'd say the same thing about my job too Trisha. All the older Drivers at work tell me, the job was a hell of a lot better pre-privatisation.
Everything was better pre-privatisation - we had water companies that fixed things and didn't charge the earth or charge via meters, trains that ran mostly on time and were affordable. All our utilities, all of our transport ...everywhere we look, part or all has been privatised - even council housing.
If it's something people need, then there's cash to be made by selling it off to the greedy capitalists and their greedy shareholders! No government department is responsible for the smooth running of these services any more, so they've offloaded the need for jobs, input and repair/maintenance on things that we all need for everyday life, and it's us, the customers that need all of these things that are paying the ever rising costs ...our NHS is slipping gently into the same abyss.
My parents would see a changed Britain if they could come back now. A changed world in fact. In a way, I'm glad they didn't see it.

No vapemail again for me today :(
Didn't even get any junkmail, not that I wanted any
Ahh! You can have mine then (junk mail!)

Throw them against the wall if they stick they need washing - talking about the socks obviously

Absolutely not Ian, nope, Nada, you can`t have one

Humph, I'd rather have my Goblin anyway

I'll probably pick one up at some point. Or, I may just wait for the V5 that's coming out soon - everything is adjustable and it's a cure for baldness apparently (Rip secretly tested one, but he rubbed it on his chin by accident)

Exactly Trisha, as soon as privatisation happens things seem to go to pot. It's more important for the share holders to get their dividends, than it is for the company to invest in new equipment.

You can keep your junk mail though

Terry, getting a few dry hits of the orchid I built, vaping at 15w. After half a dozen or so hits, it's tending to dry out. If I turn it upside down a couple of times and watch the bubbles go up and down I can vape it again. Don't know if that's anything to do with anything. I filled it slowly from the bottom.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Cheers.

The only suggestion i could give you Dave is,,,Slow down a bit  Nah, it`s just how they are with heavy use mate. As soon as i started to feel a dryish hit, i had to tip and shake, like a thermometer to get the juice moving again.

It normally means you're using a thicker juice or your wicks are a bit too thick Dave. Also the wick tails could be too long mate.

I've not had any dry hits off my Orchid even when chain vaping it. Got some 50/50 juice in there, dual coils @1.1 ohms, 17 watts and rayon wicks.

I know you probably already know these tips mate, but I thought I'd put them forward just in case :)

Cheers guys, I'm still fairly new at this so all tips welcome. Terry, I have slowed a little.but am vaping longer without the dry hits. Trouble all tips welcome, I am using 50/50. My tails are about right from the videos I've seen, but next time I'll thin them down a touch and hopefully get hold of some rayon to try.
It does seem like it's just slow wicking.

Another tip Dave. Always make sure the wick tails don't block the juice channels at all, this can cause a lot of dry hits.

Hope you get it sorted mate :)

I think it does go through batteries quicker than my sx350s & DNA30s although the VS DNA40 seems to be about the same as those, better than the VF

It`s all about getting them to work for the way you vape Dave. We all do it differently. I preferred a single coil set up with the orchids, and if i remember correctly, vince is the same. :)

My parents would see a changed Britain if they could come back now. A changed world in fact. In a way, I'm glad they didn't see it.

The railways are actually better now, one of the main problems is that there are a lot more people travelling by rail, the rolling stock is much better now, after decades of under funding by successive governments. Most of the delays are caused by the infrastructure which cannot keep up with the amount of trains needed to run to cope with the demand required by the increase in passenger numbers, again caused by decades of under investment when it was government controlled.

It's the essential services like post, water, gas & electric which should never have been privatised, as the fat cats are only interested in making a quick buck and don't give a damn about quality of service.

Ahh! You can have mine then (junk mail!)

I've offered him mine as well
