I've just been sifting through the FT new arrivals section, not really much that takes my fancy. Only problem with the last few days is, it seems I'm the only person that can drive anything bigger than a car - according to my family and friends anyway

I don't drive, but think I am right in thinking if you can drive a car the licence allows you to drive a lorry up to 2 tons, or has that changed.

Standard driving license these days lets you drive:

"vehicles up to 3,500kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) with up to 8 passenger seats (with a trailer up to 750kg)."

About 9 or 9.1ml, it's more difficult to work out like that. Leaving you with 109ml. Might try working it out again later, doing this over breakfast! [emoji23]

Or replace 8.33ml of your 100ml with the 72mg nic and you'll get 6mg exactly. (leaving you with 100ml).

To be honest though measuring 8.33 that accurately isn't going to be straightforward is it? You'd have to move it all using 1ml syringes as they have markings to 0.01ml.

If it fits in the bottle just add 9ml of the nic and you'll get almost exactly 6mg.

8.33% was exactly what I got (6mg / 72mg * 100) to get percentage - you don't need charts Trish - just a bit of simple math.
8.5ml would probably be closer Adam and shouldn't be too hard to measure.

EDIT: Just realised what you have done there Adam, you are talking of adding to what is already 100ml which works out at 9.3
(100+1 +(6/72*100))

I use this website:

Solution Dilution Calculator | Sigma-Aldrich

Or just a calculator/excel. I guessed at about 9ml (up from 8.33ml) and just set it to work out how much 72mg you'd need for 109ml and it looked about right.

Oh, it's gone up then, so they were taking advantage of Ian then

You need a different type of license for anything bigger than a car though I thought, like a bus or a lorry. Van is fine though.

I think that people/weight limit is to include massive SUVs maybe.

Prepare to be blown away Ian, what a massive difference the rba makes. Standard kayfun build, don`t even have to wrap the coil legs around the screws, just sit them in the slots and tighten down. You`ve probably read that i have also been having the legs at the top and not bottom, but that`s optional.:)

The build deck on my 25mm Subby is a bit different mate, it doesn't have the raised shoulders to trap the wire. It's more like a standard Kayfun deck. Still looking forward to trying it though, once I've finished with the OCC coil :)

Nothing hugely interesting I think!
See, these special attributes can be a burden! ;)

No nothing special on FT, apart from the price of the yo-yo wooden box mod

It does seem quite a time since you were here!
I ordered some of those new flavourings: Devon Cream, English Trifle, Jam Roly poly, Vanilla Marshmallow and Vanilla Pudding! I'll make a 10ml bottle of some, add a few drops of others to things that need 'something' :)

The jam roly poly sounds lovely. I see CV now have the QOP on the concentrates page too :)

I don't drive, but think I am right in thinking if you can drive a car the licence allows you to drive a lorry up to 2 tons, or has that changed.

I've had my license for a few years now Bob, so I can drive up to a 7.5 ton lorry. I've got a digital tacho card for vehicles this size too. We actually needed a 7.5 tonner when my mate moved, still took 3 trips too  Luckily, when my Sister and Step-daughter moved, we only needed a LWB Transit. I've driven all sizes of vehicles, so big 'uns don't really scare me

----------------------------------------

On lates now for 3 days, worst luck :(

Sounds good to me! Doesn't have to be a perfect 6mg either. I'll be halving the nicotine at some point too, and making a bottle of 3mg - I tend to mix the two at times.

Blimey!Trish, how much juice do you have in stock at the moment? It must be running into 1000's of ml's.:)
Too much is the simple answer  I've had two larger orders for the Vape Kitchen and Avant Garde (one no PG at all, the other vey little) because the former is in Hollywood and the other hasn't replenished online stocks yet and I bought it via the phone in case it takes a while to get it back online :)
All the others are new high VG ones with that 'must try' factor!

...and I always have 100ml bottles of Doughnut, Mint Choc Vapetto & LCCC plus a few others at 30 or 50ml from Chefs :)

I'll check the bottle for space, but just adding the nicotine to the bottle as is was what I had in mind. If there's not enough space in the bottle, I'll remove a little, but 8.5ml sounds easy to do :)

Thanks - sounds easier than I'd thought it would be :) I keep getting put off making 10ml bottles because of adding nicotine, and although I can get ready to use bottles of 6mg VG, I like the one CV has because it seems to agree with me best.

Why when simple math is easier and quicker

Always used to be able to drive a 2 ton tipper truck, like those used by builders merchants, that's how I remembered it, I used to work in a merchants and also on a weighbridge at a sand & gravel company just after I got married 40+ years ago, that's why I wondered if they had changed the rules, 3.5 tonnes would be awfully big, even an amoured Humvee is only 2.5 tonnes

Ah yes ..a flurry of interest there :)

I've never tried the concentrates of their ready to use ones - do they taste the same if their suggested percentages are used? (when they remember to add them to the list)

If you are adding to 100ml then I would do as Adam said and use 9ml (8.5ml if you were making up 100ml)

I got mail :

Peoples Vape ones ....The Manifesto smells particularly good - only thing is, these bottles have fairly wide, open necks and a plain screw-on lid. So they'll need a separate dropper or a very steady hand

Chefs order - 130ml LCCC ...but a bottle of flavouring not included - sent a message. No doubt they'll send it today :)

...and a small order from FT: the safety battery bag, a basic Kanger tank (which I'd forgotten I ordered) and two pairs of thermal gloves for sons.

You`re welcome Vinnie :) You really should try a subtank mini mate, Bloody fantastic :toast:

I think I'm sorted for hardware now mate, got the orchids for indoors and the lemos mini pts and H2s for out and about
I'm happy running single coils at about 1.6ohms so that keeps the wattages lowish, Trish indirectly put me on to the fact that most juices (of the ones I've tried) are more flavoursome at medium heat, so all in all I'm fat and happy
