I've got 1 on the go already. Used 0.5 that came with it, 1 air hole and 7w on the cloupor mini. It's good but hot. Normally I don't sub ohm so maybe that's it. But impressed with the build of it.

With the cloupor mini you won't be able to get 7w from a 0.5ohm occ coil. If the chip can't step down enough the ohms will flash when you fire. It doesn't have step down or pwm so it'll just fire at its minimum which is 3.6v I think. With those occ coils I think you can get down as low as 18-20w if I recall but no lower. Just look for the ohms flashing.

No wonder it was hot if you had it at 20w with the smallest air hole.

Anyone ordered batteries from FT,i realise they probably take for ever to get here, but i'm in no hurry.
There's some 25r's listed that say authentic, but are they pukka.I've always trusted FT in the past when they've listed as authentic, but batteries are a bit more serious.

FT are fine for batteries I think. I've had vtc5s from them and they took nearly 2 months to arrive but were definitely genuine.

Also for something commonly used in vaping like a 25r check the discussions and reviews people will say they're genuine.

I checked the reviews Adam and thought it a little strange that they came on sale today, but had reviews from three days ago.Considering the time batteries take to come as they send them surface postage.I don't know may just be me, but that doesn't add up.

Not me Bob, the only batteries i have had from them were some protected ones, bloody yonks ago ! Ian has had a few though. :)

I have bought batteries from FT in the past without problems. More recently I've got some from Torchy which were all good. These days I'm mainly using iSticks or my MVPv2 (with a 510 atty on top it's simply the best way to taste-test mixes). Batteries are only a thing for me now with the e-lvt. And I don't use that mod much at the moment. There's something great about the plug'n'play mods. Maybe it's because you love them - and you know that they're going to die eventually. Parting is such sweet sorrow...:)

Thanks Dave - bookmarked it but nothing there that I want at the moment :)

Well I had a new meat market open here, with some exotic meats (lots more than I bought), got some Alpaca ($14 lb), and Python ($25 lb) today to try, not sure what they taste like, but will be a interesting experience.
Sound like odd things to eat ...
Didn't know people ate alpaca's - thought they just clipped them and made jumpers and coats out of it
Learn something new every day ;)

Absolutely spot on dw. I've just got to having a play with the mods again and sure enough it was flashing, so plonked it on the ipv mini and what a difference, it's perfect again.
Another lesson learned.

It's occurred to me that I spend a lot of my vaping time sat in the same place, isn't it a pity that nobody makes a practical passthrough device that could be plugged in to a mains power supply. I'm sure that like me a lot of vapers have a few attys built to a similar power requirement with their adv in them, they could even make a multiple outlet hub
Maybe your next project after your ohm meter station Dave ?

Do you mean these? because I don't see any reviews for them.

Great price for 4 quality batteries though if you can wait.

That looks nice Bob. Upto 100W and 15ml juice bottle.

Glad you got it working better. The ipv steps down using pwm.

Unrelated to vaping really but I learned the other day that the microwave power level you set works similarly to PWM. For 50% power it just heats for 50% of the time it is set rather than somehow going at 50% power for the whole time. Learn something new every day!

Don't think I'd like to put 240v through a 1ohm coil  bad enough sometimes with 4.2v

That's a great video.

Just watched his last china video where they go to a clone factory. Definitely not as impressive as the bigger authentic manufacturers in terms of working conditions but they make a good point that the clone makers are just filling demand from the rest of the world. Don't blame them really for making some money off it if they can. Anyway I use clones all the time...

Had a nasty cold most of this week so haven't been able to taste juices properly. Been vaping menthol and aniseed types. The black n blue from t juice has grown on me and the toonz has been pretty good as well.

Vince, some mods allow passthough, and there are plenty of multiple outlet hubs on the market, I have an Olixar 6 port outlet on my desktop, so that I can charge my smartphone and up to 5 mods at a time.

I have 2 mods that allow passthrough but they have the charging port on the bottom plate. Will the Olixar handle the power requirements for vaping Bob ?

I had a couple of bottles of toonz posted out on 17th, how long did yours take to get delivered Andy ?

Haha I'm always getting called Andrew by mistake. My name is Adam. Don't worry mate I don't make it any easier by having a username different to my name.

Anyway I ordered the concentrate from vape inc and it took 2-3 days. Normal sort of UK delivery time as I recall, don't remember if it was 1st or 2nd class.

EDIT: as yours was posted on the 17th I would have expected it by now actually

Well I've ended up ordering 2 packs of 4 at that price, and 25Rs are a good battery

That looks nice Bob. Upto 100W and 15ml juice bottle.

and I got the lowest serial # available as well 004 (001 is his own, 002 & 003 went to reviewers (think Todd got 002 so look out for his review))

Must have a look at that one - thought he had forgot to put it out.

I have a mix of clones (Vaporflasks, Zero & Mechs mainly) and originals (Provari, VS, Slug, Reos and some made by Modders on the Forums plus some chinese like the Cloupors, IPVs & iSticks)

Had a nasty cold most of this week so haven't been able to taste juices properly. Been vaping menthol and aniseed types. The black n blue from t juice has grown on me and the toonz has been pretty good as well.

Can be a pain when the juices taste off, I try not to vape too much Menthol type ones normally, and keep them for just such occasions

Chap at the meet last night is a vendor for TJuice and he brought a load of Red Astair amongst others to give away, so that people could try them out and give feed back on the differences, he had 70/30, 60/40 and 50/50 in the normal Red Astair and 70/30 and 60/40 in the new Clear version (without the red cherry), unfortunately I could only try the 50/50 because I don't like too much PG and I had never tried RA before, although it wasn't too bad, I doubt I would buy any more.

I have 2 mods that allow passthrough but they have the charging port on the bottom plate. Will the Olixar handle the power requirements for vaping Bob ?

10A max over the 6 ports with 2a max on each so don't see why not.
