Same here mate. We've a similar chippy near us, supposed to be one of the best in Rochdale. Problem is, it's hardly ever open. Only ever seems to open at lunch time. Must still be doing ok though, it's been there for at least 10 years.

Same here, only open from about 10:00 to 15:00, there is also a café just round the corner, opens early about 07:00 but also closes about 15:00 even though they applied a year ago for an extension to their license to stay open until 01:00

Was a lot better when wrapped in greaseproof paper and newspaper

I've noticed that too, hardly any chippys now use proper grease proof paper. Nothing worse than getting half of the fish stuck to the paper.

Thanks bud

No problem mate :)

The one near me, only seems to open from 11.30 - 14.00. There's a pub within spitting distance and quite a few houses and businesses nearby, so I can't understand why they don't open longer.

King's College Hospital is within spitting distance of me - loads of doctors and nurses looking for something to eat all day long

Recoiled 2 more subtanks and a KF4 today, so that is all my tanks done @ 2.2 ohms with 30 gauge kanthal. In one of the subs, i re-visited chefs LCCC, The flavour is outstanding compared to my old Lemo`s in which i last vaped it, and i honestly get all 4 elements of the juice, really pleased with it.

In the KF4, i have put some Mrs Lords Seville marmalade, and i will be having a damn good blast on that shortly, but my initial thoughts were very nice. :toast:

Just ordered a charger and four batteries from myepack and got free postage
Next on the agenda another Istick 50 and another Subtank

Have you seen Todd's sneak peak at the new Atlantis some crazy airflow on that

No, but I've seen another vid about it, just waiting for somewhere to stock them, and heard the coils are interchangeable, so you can use the older coils

Marcus, if you are talking about his Aspire Vapemail one, then have just looked at it, and he makes some good comments especially towards the end about battery safety and dropping nic level - liked the Atlantis Mega, but I don't have anything that takes a 30mm atty, and to be honest I don't want a 30mm tube mod like that one he showed, prefer what I have at the moment, although I'm still waiting for a few more that are in the waiting to be shipped/in the mail.

You'd think more places would base their opening hours on the times their customers would be buying. I think that's one of the reasons why internet shopping is so popular - open 24/7.

You'll have a bigger collection than Bob soon mate

I've got the LCCC in a Kayfun with a small chimney size and drilled out airflow. I think the smaller chimney helps concentrate the flavour more and the extra airflow definitely helps. It seems some juices like different toppers more than others. Had a bit of a leak from my Subtank earlier on. I realised when I filled it up earlier on, the o-ring that sits in the base had lifted a little and got trapped under the glass tank when I screwed it back together. I had to examine it really closely though to see where the o-ring had got pinched. Working fine now. But something to look out for when filling a Subby :)

I think Dave had a similar issue with one of his subs Ian, personally it hasn`t happened here, but something to watch out for as you say. :) Like i said, the difference between the sub, and the Lemo, is night and day, I would never have thought that a different tank could make such a difference.

I have got all nine set up`s running spot on now Ian, upping the ohms has made a massive difference !

That was the one Bob didn't realise it had a 30 mm base.Damn that's big some crazy airflow on there on the drip tip as well

I should have checked my Subby better before I filled it. The bottom o-ring had stuck to the glass when I opened it up. Just dropped the seal back in place when I filled it, when I should have made sure it was properly seated. I'll know for next time

I've been reading your posts about upping the ohms mate, does make sense. I've also found that some tanks work better with the airflow closed a little for extra flavour, whereas others need it fully open. All part of the fun, sussing things out

After the CNY i was expecting there to be masses of new items on the market.Like yourself i can't understand why it's so quiet,
Perhaps it's just me adding up too many things to the wrong conclusion, but there seems to have been more chatter and reports of possible regulation and bans etc. ...made me wonder if everyone is reluctant to invest too much in new or further advances in the technology in case things come crashing down or change significantly to some degree.
There's also been a fair number of very decent percentages off sales/offers ...are they getting the most turnover they can while they can?

Suppose at the end of the da, whatever happens, us, the successful end consumers, will have little say in the outcome.

No good for you but we are waiting for both the Lemo II and Aspire Atlantis 2 to be released to the shops, I got an order in for the first, but the latter hasn't even got a date yet. Not sure if it was Innokin or Aspire that has a new mod in the offing - apart from that the only things that are coming up are really expensive high-end Pinoy mods.
Yes, I've seen a few of the new versions of things imminent, reminds me of the V1's, 2's & 3's of Kanger items.

Afternoon all, just been having a catch up.

Got to work tomorrow, but then I've got Sun and Monday off so not too bad :)
Had a reply from RM about the state of the order from Dominion. You were right Bob, big apology, but that's it. I do hope it helps speed up the returns process back to Dominion though. But my Quacks concentrates arrived in the UK on the 1st, so hopefully those might arrive soon.
Glad all seems to be working out!

Had a laugh on April Fool's Day.
After dinner the Drivers that fell for it, where thanked over the radio for checking and reporting the turbines as missing. 26 Drivers fell for it.
Great!

I watched the debates myself on TV. Here's my thoughts :

Miliband - complete .... and looks like a cartoon character.
Clegg - sounded professional, but I couldn't see him running the country.
Cameron - less of an .... than Miliband, but a bit too smug.
Wood - looked totally out of her depth, but did get better as she went along.
Farage - loves being controversial, I'd have a pint with him, but wouldn't give him the keys to number 10.
Sturgeon - reminds me of a School teacher, very polished, but I didn't agree with some of her policies.
Bennett - did talk some sense, but her main priorities weren't mine.

So basically, they were all good to some extent and terrible in others. I think it's just a case of voting for the lesser of all evils.
I think we have so many home (UK) problems, most won't be looking past those issues to the outside dangers ...I'd like someone who will not only make a difference that we can feel before too long, but be wise when it comes to dealing with all the various other issues throughout the world, including Europe.

Well, I watched it today (recorded it). No game-changing stuff. The women all did well. Nigel was unsparkling. Dave held a steady course and Ed was trying hard to be "Hell yes-I'm tough" but not quite bringing it off. Natalie Bennett did very well for the Greens, I thought. Nicola Sturgeon was the best briefed and is clearly highly dangerous.
That lady has an agenda, and probably not one we'd all want.

I had fish 'n' chips for the first time in a month yesterday. It was glorious - golden crispy batter crackling open to reveal succulent cod. And the chips. :)
Long time since we had fish and chips - must have a treat sometime soon!

I haven't had chippy chips for ages, I dont think they taste the same out of cartons, we have a small chippy by us that has about 6 seats in the back and their split and fish fresh out of the fryer is fantastic with a round of bread and a cup of pot made tea
Cartons may be easier to eat from out and about, but the old newspaper and greaseproof bags/paper was best :)

The one near me, only seems to open from 11.30 - 14.00. There's a pub within spitting distance and quite a few houses and businesses nearby, so I can't understand why they don't open longer.
Some residential areas with takeaways have local laws imposed regarding late night opening in an effort to discourage groups of troublesome youngsters hanging around. It used to frustrate us that they were always closed by supper time!
Not sure if that rule has been changed here since.

King's College Hospital is within spitting distance of me - loads of doctors and nurses looking for something to eat all day long
My Mum was a nurse there during the war ..London is where she met my Dad while he was waiting to be shipped out to Africa/India.

Nice! I can taste all four, especially when the coil is newer, but can never turn the wattage up without it starting to taste off (not that I really need to turn it up though) :)
