Both flavoured and unflavoured on the made up liquids, because once you open that bottle of Nic base you start the degradation process, because:
A) you have let oxygen mix with it
B) you are going to add something to it, thereby weakening it.
So it would make sense for me to divide the 100ml bottles of nicotine into 50ml amber bottles to freeze?

on the last question for 30ml bottle you need to replace about 2.5ml (or add 2.75ml and make it up to 32.75ml) of 72mg (7.2%) nic to get 6mg/ml.
For a 50ml bottle just divide 2.5 or 2.75 by 3 and multiply by 5 to get the replace or add figures
and yes to shake it and steep it
Right ...thanks Bob - that should be easy to do :)

For 30ml 12mg/ml you would replace 5ml or add 5.5ml of 72mg nic - in other words twice as much as the figures I quoted for Trisha above

Using the calculator gives you the replace figures, and playing around with the target bottle size will give you the add amount

Thanks Bob

Yihi SX Mini M Class

Where from Bob?I've been looking around waiting for them to come in stock.Fancy the Rose and silver one.

My Garry Dibley Drip tips,
The first 2 tips and the surprise ejuice ( 18mg Strawberry Milkshake  ) are to replace the ones that went "missing" a few weeks back

That was really good of him Bob,there are plenty who would have just walked away

You must be expecting bad things from the new government Bob. All the stocking up your doing, I'll be coming to you when I run short instead of FT.:D

Still waiting for the new Lemo II and Atlantis 2 to appear on the scene - Lemo II not expected in Belfast until 20/04 now, and I have to stock up on concentrates, then the apocalypse can begin

If we can't beat 'em, we'll definitely be one step ahead! ;)

Anyone still using the Nautilus and BVC coils? - I got a Peakomizer 2 and the coil it came with was fine - just started tasting a bit off today so I changed it for a fresh authentic one. Dripped a few drops down the chimney and let it sit for half an hour. Couple of draws without firing and then fired it ...just as before when I used the Nautilus, the coil tasted horrible and felt burnt on the back of my throat!

Apart from the odd rogue one, these coils were really good when they came out - they're on their third version now and getting worse.
I'm thinking I've had it with these Nautilus coils, that's three mini Nautili and a Peakomizer 2 now useless! - I've just opened my last pack of new coils (MyEPack) and tried one of those - I'll let it sit for an hour before trying it, but it that's got a bad taste too, out they go!

New nautilus coils are the pits, I have had bad BDC coils in the past.
Now from new I tend to leave them overnight or at least 3 hours to soak up the juice and I only ever use genuine ones.

I have 2 on the go at the moment, an ordinary BDC which I'm firing at 15w on the new Zero with LCCC in it, and another which has the new Temp Protected BVC coil firing at 40w with Strix Lychee Delight in, both fine.

Subtank Nano with 1.2ohm coils - lowest use is 12W ...what would happen if I forgot at some point, and used it at around 8?

I'm getting a bit fed up with manufacturers saying this or that coil will only fire at xx w to xx w it's all rubbish - they will fire as low/high as the mod will let it (regulated mods), it's up to you to find the best wattage for you - if it is too low, then you will not get much flavour or vapour, if it's too high it will taste burnt - simple as that.

I normally start at 10w and work my way up by 5w intervals until it tastes horrible or too hot, then back it off to the last good one, you would probably want to try 6w and use 1w increases until you find the best taste & vapour (but don't forget the iStick20 anomaly)

Thanks Bob - I'm going to get one and see how I get on with it. I know they try to keep people safe, but it can be a bit off-putting when they warn about such things. 1.2ohm coils don't seem that scary!
Everyone seems to like them, so may I! :) they seem like a trouble free one from what I see here.

I'll do as you suggest and start with my usual setting ..6.5W. I do however intend using the Subtank on the 50W iStick that's on it's way from FT (replacement for the faulty Earl) ..should be here this coming week I think.

I just didn't want to wreck a mod by using the wrong wattage! :)

So you stopped using the BVC ones? I do have a few of the BDC, so may try one before losing patience with them altogether :) I've been using them at 8W on the Cloupor mini. (I seem to get away with slightly higher wattage using even less PG!)
I'll leave the BVC coil I just put in overnight then - see how it is tomorrow ...if still bad, I'll try a BDC, and if it's still not good - then I'll fling it! :D

You might find the mod will not let you go as low as 6.5w or it might, as I said the mod will only let you go as low as it can for the resistance of the coil, the nearest I have is a 1.19 Lemo and on a DNA30 mod at 7w the resistance was flashing meaning too low, the lowest I could fire without it flashing was 10w, so you might find the same thing, I would start at 8w if you can and see how that pans out.

No, it's just that I still have quite a few of them, so am trying to use them up first rather than bin them, the problem with the BVC ones is once you have burnt them they will taste bad always, that's why I let them soak for at least 3 hours or overnight, if the former, I also give them a few puffs without firing to draw the juice into the coil, I do that bit no matter what pre-built coil atties I use.

Just tried it 8w smallest air hole.It was like trying to suck a golf ball through a straw to get any vapour.
10w was better but at 12w you do get a lot better taste and a lot more vapour

OK, will do! - they despatched it already, so if RM plays nice, I may get it tomorrow!
I see FT do the authentic coils at $10.80/5 - they're £9.75 here from MyEPack.

I hate throwing things away if they could be of use too, but that's one heck of a nasty taste they give off when they're duff ones! :p
I must have around 30 BVC's, and don't doubt some will be fine ...just need to steel myself to try one now and then
I always have a few draws to get the coil soaked more before firing it, but usually around 20-30 minutes is enough to leave the BVC before doing that - not today or the last twice I tried them!

With all coils, I started writing on the box where they came from a few months ago, and I always keep a digital copy of the order too. Never actually complained about any, but at least I know to avoid those which get too many off ones!

Right now, the best tanks for me are eMOW, AIR & the good old Evod single coil! T3S isn't bad either.

Nice haul there Bob. Where did you pick up the SX Mini from mate ?? That's one of the mods that's on my "future buying" list. Also, can it actually take 2x 18650s ?? I'm seeing conflicting reports, some say it's only one batt, others say 2 batts - but their only speculating, none of them actually have the mod.

-------------------------

Was hoping my Dominion order might arrive today, but I only got bills - mobile and utilities :(

-------------------------

Got home from work last night, after I'd been fed and watered, decided to do some FT ordering around 11pm. Here's my shopping list:

https://www.fasttech.com/product/2176109
Ceramic tweezers, I'm finding using the Kuro coilers and not torching the wire first, I need to fire and squeeze the coils a bit more. So these should help.

https://www.fasttech.com/product/2181604
iStick cover. I got the red and the purple.

https://www.fasttech.com/product/2201900
New Subtank V2. See if I can notice the difference between it and the two I've already got.

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1980503

Rogue and Venturi drippers. I've seen some good reviews for these two. Slightly different build method from standard drippers. But, I'm getting these two, to modify for bottom feeding for the Reos. Their both supposed to be versions of "leak free" drippers, as they have top air inlets. I've seen a genuine Rogue that's been modified to fit a Reo, so I know it can be done. Just need to find a regulated bottom feeder mod now and I'll be happy :)

Thanks! Did you try going to the next air hole ? I don't like them very airy though. I always set the MOW on the first hole, and tightened the AIR up a good way too.

I'll see how I get on with it ..should find an ideal setting :)

SX Mini M Class with Temp Protection from MyePack only had grey/silver one @ £169 - free VTC4 battery - I chose RMSD to ensure I got it. For Temp it has °C & °F but you cannot then use Wattage you have to use Joules instead - so another new learning curve.

EDIT missed the bit about batteries - normally it takes 1 x 18650 but there is supposed to be an extension to allow 2 but haven't see what it is or looks like - if it is anything like the ZNA50 and it screws into the bottom of the tube it will make it look absolutely stupid.

2nd EDIT: and it does :

As Bob said Trish, Take no notice of what these vendors print, It`s totally up to you and the mod you use. I think you will really like the subtank, and if that is the case, i will send you the 4 1.2 coils i have, cos i will never use them. You can have the 4 .5 ohms as well if you wish.
