We had rain in cwmllifornia till six last night. The hanging baskets won't need watering for a few days

I woke up at 7 am yesterday and went to bed at about 1 am this morning and it was raining all the time, didn't ease up at all, I've never known it to happen like that before, normally get some sort of respite.

We have have regular days like that here Bob

But that's expected in the valleys, not 3 miles from the centre of London and definitely not in May either, blinking weather has gone mad, and I don't believe that it has anything to do with GW

Are they the ones outside the Summer house mate? ;)

Cloudy and dry here yesterday, similar today with perhaps a little more sun.
Two out the front of the house and two out the back George
Since my daughter and granddaughter moved back the summer house is more like a storage container

Sun gone for now, and it's not very warm! :(

I don't take too much notice about all the talk of global warming etc. Weather patterns have evolved since time began ...geology proves that.
Summers were a lot warmer & dryer and the winters harder when I was small - no-one thought to give that a name!

I got mail today:
3 bottles from The Liquid Bar:
Black Flag Waffle (A delicious black currant covered Belgium waffle topped off with a dollop of crème),
Cotto's Revenge Bourbon Custard (classic Kentucky bourbon with sweet, creamy vanilla custard, some toasted almonds, and just a hint of coconut),
Proper Blue Label (Brown Sugar Buttercake with a unique whipped topping, and a side of Ice Cream).

They all smell good, but the Chaos Black Flag Waffle smells terrific - a small taste is the same. Won't be long before I try that one! I just hope the blackcurrant doesn't make me wheeze!

London is usually one of the hottest parts of the UK
Is that because of the smog Bob;)

Got my Gearbest money back as well, noticed it was a bit colder today, even had the small heater on for a short while, and agree about when we were little, the seasons were much more defined.

Chef's have resent mine as they have still not turned up, wondering now if it is something to do with Croydon SO employing a few crooks

I remember years back having a problem that turned out to be a postman taking sacks of mail home, going through them looking for cash etc., and then putting them back into the system. As a result, things were arriving very late or not at all - until he was caught.
Now it's the poor organisation of the whole (privatised) system that mostly lets us down.

We were expecting a number of items to be delivered today, and only half arrived: in one instance, two books ordered 20 minutes apart, despatched at the same time next day, yet only one arrived today.
