I'm the same with the scematics, but then I've never been good at electronics like this. I good with vehicle 6v, 12v and 24v systems and wiring houses with a 240v system. But resistors,cathodes, diodes etc is all new to me.

Same here mate, I think I'm slowly getting there, but I've only just scratched the surface. I didn't know until a couple of days ago that different coloured leds have different power ratings, even when their all the same size. It's interesting learning though.

Time to turn in for me, even though I'm not back to work yet my body clock still gets me up at 5am. Night all.

Well, just thinking of getting some sleep, and took a look at Chefs site ...saw this! Clearance - ChefsVapour

Had a quick look at that MCV and looks to be 18mg only, so they might be having the same problems with high nic not being bought any more

Don't know how long that 'clearance' link had been there, but there was only 110mlx3mg and 80mlx12mg (no 6mg), and just one bottle of concentrate. I still use that one at 6mg (most others are 4 or 3mg now) so I'll make some with zero nicotine from the concentrate and dilute the 12mg with it!

I've seen this 18mg and higher mentioned a few times - some say it's because of sub ohm use etc., others say it's to do with impending legislation ...my guess is perhaps both.

The MCV concentrate is available again today, so I've ordered two bottles and more VG base. Hope it tastes as good as the ready made stuff - it suggests 25-35% so I'm guessing 100%VGbase & nicotine is going to need the upper limit

I see FT have some new Kanger Japanese Cotton coils for pre order (projected 10 days) - SOCC, TOCC & VOCC ..the latter being the equivalent of the V2 vertical coils, which are for such as MOW, Aerotank etc. The first two are for Evod, Protank and T3S.
Seeing I have all of those types, particularly the MOW standard and mega sizes, I've ordered a pack of each to try.

My order for the Grey Kangxin appears to still be in transit, and the green one is still 'not found'.

Yes, I noticed those as well, apart from the Subtanks, the only Kanger ones I have left are a MOW and a Genitank in use and an Aerotank Mini which is sitting on an old eGo and hasn't been used for about a year now, I still have quite a lot of the older coils for those, so doubt I will be getting any for quite some time

I know not many here will still be using them, but I do use the MOW in both sizes quite a bit, the Evod always has MCV or anything else that chews through coils quite fast (the single coils last 6 days with the MCV, so quite good), and I also have a few T3S for similar purposes and trying new ones.
Those single ones are well priced for stock piling to be a bit future proof, and I do the same with the V2 coils for the MOW too - got some spare unused ones of each type.
Mostly, the ones from FT are fine.

I have an Aerotank mini and a Genitank mini that have never been used.

Happily using my MCV at the moment, safe in the knowledge that I won't be left high n dry without any!

I'm just looking at some 250ml PET bottles that come with a screw-on nozzle (Ideon Bottles)- thinking I'll make some MCV in a big bottle seeing I use it so frequently, and perhaps a 250ml bottle of 3mg nicotine/VG base.

Don't forget that when you add flavour to that it will reduce it further so adding enough MCV it would dilute to about 2.25mg nic

Haha ...don't tell me that ...I wouldn't notice otherwise!

Seriously though, the first lot I make will be zero to dilute the 80ml 12mg I've bought down to 6mg - then I'll start thinking about making a bottle from scratch Could be I'll make equal quantities of 3 and 6mg and then mix as required to around 4% same as I do with the Doughnut ..I may be asking questions!

I got mail...... Coolfire lV - colour true to website image. Very nice brushed metallic finish giving a very solid look. The plain metal is a matt silver/grey, and it needed cleaning ..had a definite griminess to it until I cleaned it with a damp tissue.
Bottom on/off switch (3 click on off too). Fully charged. Button shows green/yellow/red light according to battery level, green being almost fully charged. No light while fully charged..
Tiny bit taller than the iStick 50, but a little narrower. Feels nice to hold too.
Fire button has a slightly 'hollow' sounding click to it, and the display stays on long enough to read it.

Despite following the instructions, I can't get it to change from V to W - it says hold down the + button for
one second to enter the W mode ...all I get is either the 4.0V flashing or it starts to increase. I tried holding it for longer, but still doesn't work.

I did try pressing both in desperation, but not the + and then the fire as he did ..I pressed both simultaneously at once, so perhaps it needs to be one after the other!

I'm thinking so far that the Sigelei Mini and the iStick 50 have a slight edge to them for simplicity of use, but I'll get used to the Coolfire.

Two black marks so far: the dirty silver/grey metal, and the badly written instructions - may be common with foreign manufacture, but shouldn't be so.

Unusual for Innokin Trish,anything i have had from them has been really clean.
Don't know about the instuctions,us blokes have a reputatin for not reading them

Took 'em a while though George, I've got 8 squonkers so will give it a miss at the moment because it looks like a Kangxin, if they bring out a Waidea one I might be tempted
