Apart from the zero communication until after it's been delivered, they do seem quite good :)
FT seem to cover everything, so we've been spoiled by that!

Glad to hear that it's better. Hope the seats in the buses don't set it off again!

Sounds like some interesting 'tinkering' to be done! :)

I got mail from Sweet Vapes US:
A white Subtank (Won't be getting any more of these version 2 ones as my black one with the double air vents often leaks)
2 packs OCC coils ..except they ignored my email and sent 1.5ohm instead of the 1.2 requested change to my order 3 days before despatch!

Haven't received my order from sweet Vapes yet.Did have a pack of 1.2 coils from noble along with a cheap drip tip and a 50ml bottle of a RA type juice

In July Kangertech are upgrading the Subox to a spring loaded pin.Touch wood,no problems with leaking with my two black subbys.

I'll buy a wooden one, when you get around to making them of course :thumb:

No problem mate. I'm trying to make mods that are a little bit different from everything else, so they'll be something special hopefully. The main problem I'm finding is most suppliers of boxes don't do anything small enough for a box mod. Most seem to be at least 6x4 inches and larger. The couple that I've got coming will be a better size though, I'll see when they arrive :)

I'm pretty sure I had dispatch confirmation with my 2 orders. Probably depends on the seller and their level of "Chinglish"

I'm hoping the same thing Trisha. I'm just going to make sure I get out of the seat regularly and stretch from now on. 5+ hours continuous driving is too much. If I'm late, I get paid overtime, so I might as well take it easy

I'm really enjoying building these box mods, great sense of achievement when I finish one. The problem is, I keep on doing extra modifications to them

Must admit I do like the look of the black ones, but I honestly don't need any more tanks. I'm trying to resist temptation and concentrate on my mod building instead.

Good! here's hoping this new white one doesn't leak, and also the white Subox when it arrives.

I can't for the life of me work out how to remove the middle cage from the glass outer (I tried when the first Subtank mini leaked a bit, couldn't remove it, but it did stop leaking).

Yes, find a happy medium. Five hours without fairly frequent breaks to walk around for 5 minutes really isn't good.

Ha! You won't want to go to work!

They are quite smart in a nice unassuming way. FT do a black 'style' one now at a good price. I have one of their blue glass 'style' Subtanks and it works perfectly.

Two hours on a plane and your there, what more do you want? Love the Balirieac ? Islands

I wicked a coil earlier, the ones that came with the Subtank.Theres a big difference in taste in using the RBA than the OCC coils

Yes Majorca Trish, Daft O`Clock Tuesday morning.:)
Nice! Breakfast in Majorca ...sounds good!

We've been twice - first time was Alcudia. Got so hot it was bliss to stand by the shore in the sea near the marina ..and there were little tiny fish swimming around while we were just standing there! To cool off we took the catamaran taxi boat a few times up to where Bransons hotel was/is. Lovely sailing up the coastline with the cooling wind. An hour stop before the return trip ...great way to spend a hot early afternoon.
Second time we were right in the south perhaps a half hour walk up to Magaluf. Lovely hotel, not too big - used to be a Forte hotel at one time. Can't remember what it was called but it was on one side of a fairly small bay, with a hotel full of Germans across the water. We could hear them singing on the breeze in the evenings - until all went quiet at midnight!
Our room was top floor on the end facing towards Palma. I loved sitting on the balcony late at night listening to the waves on the rocks below. Saw the QE2 sailing into Palma late one night.

I don`t like them ready to use coils myself. ... cotton or rayon in a RBA is unrivaled IMO Marcus.

Yes, we did, and we often sat at a café at the marina in Alcudia too ...cool breeze off the water & relaxing watching the yachts bobbing on the water :) ....but just think of the responsibility of owning them!

We're not really fond of sun, sea & sand places unless there's a city nearby. Palma is very nice to visit.
Lisbon is an interesting place where we had 5 days, and very pleasant walking along by the river.
I think favourite have been Paris and Madrid. No beaches though!
Been a few places we didn't like too!

The cathedral in Palma is magnificent
It is, and the hand of Gaudi is apparent, albeit his involvement was relatively short in it's long history. Valetta has a superb

For me, York Minster (before it became almost a tourist attraction in it's own right) had the best atmosphere. We wandered in a few times on a late Sunday afternoon - not many people, and the choir could be heard practicing somewhere. Now there's an entrance fee and more restricted access/times, and it's not as peaceful.

St Johns in Valletta, Malta, is a fascinating place to visit, as are many other places there.

I've not had any trouble removing the glass tanks from Subbys. I just hold the top metal part above the glass then twist the glass tank down and off the cage. If it's a bit stuck a pair of marigolds should help with grip - you can always borrow Terry's if you don't have any :laugh:

Ah, so ......

Ha! You won't want to go to work!

Terrible seats, long spells of driving and sometimes impossible running times - it all adds up. I'm going to make sure I drive in a way that suits me from now :)

I'm not looking forward to going back to be honest, but I do need the money. So I guess I'll have to

I've avoided the "style" ones in the past, but if they work ok, it's definitely worth another look :)

I hope you have a fantastic time mate. I know we've not had much time to chat recently, but I know you deserve a good holiday. I hope it's nice and relaxing and you come back feeling refreshed. Enjoy it mate :D

Got a bit of peace and quiet at the moment. The Wife has gone to a car boot sale

I've told her to look out for any small carved wooden trinket boxes I can use for box mods. I think I'm getting a bit obsessed with making these things now :laugh:

 ....you know what I think I was doing: trying to pull the metal cage down & out rather than the glass! Next time I think a bit of investigation/seal changing is necessary, I'll try that!

All just within regulations, no doubt!

Does well to bear in mind just who is looking out for your wellbeing.

Unless idly rich, it's one of life's misfortunes!

thought these looked OK, so thought I'd chance it. Got the Nano first and then the mini. Both only one air adjustment slot:
$11.55 SUBTANK Nano Styled Clearomizer - 3ml / 0.5ohm (15-30W) / silver + blue at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$12.52 SUBTANK Mini Styled OCC Clearomizer - 4.5ml / 0.5ohm (15-30W) / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

These are the black 'style' - not sure if they're the same make, but they do state 'V2' so probably 2 air slots:
$18.22 SUBTANK Mini V2 Styled OCC Clearomizer - 4.5ml / 0.5ohm (15W-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$14.98 SUBTANK Mini V2 Styled OCC Clearomizer - 4.5ml / 0.5ohm (15W-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Got a bit of peace and quiet at the moment. The Wife has gone to a car boot sale
Me too - himself gone to visit a friend for a couple of hours ...I never know quite what to do first when I get some peaceful time to myself!

There are far more costly obsessions! :)
I got a bargain this weekend: a late Ming small oil/wine vessel for under £10! ...will be nice to use in a piece of work!

@terry w

Hey Tel!
Have you tried a Ni build in a KF4?
Was thinking of trying today but thought i'd ask first.
I have read it's not great because of flucuating readings, but i have upgraded the springs in both of mine.
I haven`t George no. Even with the sub kit upgrade, i think the draw is still a bit too tight for a NI build ! I am probably wrong though  Let me know how it is if you try it out mate. :thumb:
