Just behind it has a bronze statue of Tommy Copper.
And i know how it got there Marcus...` Just Like That` sorry, couldn`t resist.

There was a time when I smoked 80 Bensons a day (Rothmans sometimes, Sweet Afton for a treat). Unfortunately I still used to smoke my pipe (Ogdens 12" flake) and cigars (Upmanns). I often step back and worship the people who invented vaping. :)
I used to be quite partial to a King Edward imperial as well pipe. when the brother in law served in the forces, he once got me a box of 50 from the NAAFI, he said they cost him something daft like a fiver :w00t:

True,built in the 13th century.

By the ENGLISH

;)
I once read a whole series of historical novels about the Plantagenet's and a little before ...right through Owen Glendower, Llewelyn ap Gruffyd, Prince of Gwynedd, on and up to Richard III - I really should read them all again because it was quite fascinating.

Yes he must have had a spare Trish :) we used to have a wooden handle on the end of our`s and like yourself, i was always dinking me melon on it.
My head survived, but if I ever don't catch it properly again, it may slam against the tiles and they're those big ceramic 2ft ones! I'd get a lot of frowns if I cracked one of those!

Bleeding sick of them Bob, first it was ppi, and now they phone up Telling us we have had an accident. I get most of the calls on my mobile, so if i don`t recognize the number, i don`t even answer it, then add the said number to the reject list. Must be a 100 numbers in that list now.
Our phone speaks the caller ...and if it says 'number withheld' I just reject it. Same when it states 'international' ..if the family is all in the UK, off it goes! When I pick one up that looks like a genuine caller, and it isn't, I just interrupt and tell them we're registered with TPS ..they go away.
It would be far better if they just weren't allowed to intrude in the first place.

It has a lot of ground Bob and a moat.Just behind it has a bronze statue of Tommy Copper.Edinburgh castle is magnificent especially in the night all lit up
Most breath-taking castle I ever saw was on the way up to Oban for the first time on a fairly dark & cold afternoon - suddenly, on the left, loomed Kilchurn Castle which appeared to be rising up out of Loch Awe in the haze hanging over the water.
Looked almost sinister.

My! That's a lot of tobacco - and a big deal to give up!
Thought I was bad sometimes smoking 40 - and yes, I still look at what I use now without thinking about a cigarette and feel quite amazed, and very pleased! :)

I had a spell where I liked Sobranie Black Russians. The boss put up with them for a few months then went out to the wine merchants opposite and bought me a box of 50 B&H, put them on my desk and just said 'please' :) Bless him, he was such a gent too.
Then, when we were in Paris, the bartender (brilliant young chap working his summer break from university) asked to exchange my B&H for his Disque Bleu - he loved English cigarettes, and I found I liked French - took plenty home with me and smoked those for quite a long time. This was long before Imperial Tobacco bought them out.

Very nice Trish.
I always prefer the look of a Scottish castle, quite different from the rest of the U.K
One of my favourites is Eilean Donan, used for the filming of many movie scenes, including parts of Highlander.

Very nice Trish.
Quite awesome the way I fist saw it - like this photo, but no sun on the mountains, and all that was at first apparent was the castle appearing to rise from the water.
Much food for the imagination when looking at these ancient castles.

They can be very different - almost like big stately homes.
Eilean Donan is very familiar and has been used quite a lot - the bridge is very distinctive.
I once did a painting of Lochranza Castle on Arran at dusk - not a whole lot to it, and needs to be seen from the right angle to better appreciate it:

Half the time they withhold their numbers, problem is so do government agencies, local council services, hospitals etc, or they show fantasy numbers, the one yesterday was 0232323 - there are no 7 digit numbers in any of the major cities in the UK

As I just replied to Terry, the problem with the withheld numbers, is that all sorts use it these days, I emailed the telecommunications minister complaining about it, I have to answer them because it could be the hospital or council ringing me, and I have friends abroad so that discounts that one, I'm also registered with TPS, but they get round that by using Indian call centers.

To be honest, unless we're expecting or waiting for a call from anywhere important, I do still reject them - I've always found a genuine one will call back, even the doctor, and some even apologise for having a withheld number. The genuine ones are quite used to it.
For me, genuine companies and institutions shouldn't use withheld numbers.
I know some junk calls are using proper numbers, but it's unavoidable unless someone does something positive to prevent it.

I wanted to call Vax c/s and saw it was a number charging almost 5p per minute - saynoto0870 gave me a proper number (I get normal numbers free on my phone package).

They were my Christmas treats, those or the Sobranie Cocktails, couldn't stand the French ones like DB or the US Camel (dung)
I didn't like Camel or Marlborough ...son used to smoke Marlborough and we both complained about the smell of them.

Late to the party again Bob;)

It's Vendors day and there are a pile of discounts already out there...
I missed it too - still, where do you find all the vendors discounts George?
Are there any you've seen for Beard or 5P?

So do I and they changed the rules this month on 084 & 087 numbers, you have to check with your telephone company to see what the access charge is per minute on top of what the advertised price is, BT is 9.5p/m but some companies like mobile ones are charging over 25p/m [EE-44p/m], another useful site is Get Human

Yes, I got an email from Zen about it, but I'm fed up of trying to remember which ones are free! I always look for a standard landline number on the 0870 site. Fancy charging people for customer service calls! ...in fact, no business should charge!
I'll bookmark that Get Human site! Thanks.

I don't use Facebook - wouldn't know where to look anyway
Still, you're right about the 5P ...everyone needs to be open about what is in the liquid and how much!
Thinking ahead and still liking the idea of popping a cig-size object in my pocket if popping out, I contacted Vype and asked if their cartridges had much PG in them ...they refused to tell me the percentage, but said there's more VG than PG! How flippin special do they think they are that they can be so precious about important information?!

I used a smaller amount of the Bowden's Mate in my mix yesterday and no 'pink toothpaste'! :)

@Pictor

Beard at Evolution vaping 15 % off..code...ukvt15 (doesn't say if upper or lower case)

E-Liquids - Evolution Vaping
Thanks! I'll take a look :)
