I used to love listening to them Trish, brilliant band :thumb: Oh and that reminds me of a new thread i am about to start. Just for a bit of music Knowledge fun.

Met the whole band, stayed in the same hotel as them, when they were on tour in 1985.
Had my copy of the Brothers in Arms album signed,Mark Knopfler took it around the whole group for me.

Very nice!
When I first hesitantly started to change from vinyl to CD, Local Hero was the first one I bought.
A few years back, I saw Knopfler and Clapton on a TV programme sat playing acoustic guitars, and they played an instrumental version of House of The Rising Sun (an all time favourite of mine) ..I've never been able to find a recording of that though, so must have been an impromptu one-off ...shame because it was good.

Ok chaps - Bob has convinced me about the batteries and Pictor about the iStick 100w. Two lots of batteries and a black pre-order for the 100w just bought. Cheerful chappie! :)
Sounds good! :)
I had to look twice when I saw those iSticks this morning! ...thought I wasn't reading it correctly at first

I'd like to know if it's OK to store the 18650 batteries for future use - or is it better to just buy them in low numbers as needed to use?

I'd like to know that aswell Trish.
Because when that FT order comes i'll be upto 16 spares.
I know from installing one today they do slightly deplete stored away in a cupboard.
I'm hopng they come to no harm.

Trisha did you try the Darkcochachino from South Coast capes
I was thinking about it earlier .... I do have some, but haven't tried it yet ..it's 60VG so I'll have to add something to it :)

The only fixed battery mods I got now is a iStick 30 and a cool fire 4 and a MVP Ive got 2 suboxes a Mini Jedi and a Tesla invader 2.Thinking about dipping my toes in a TC mod with one of these Original APT40 40W E-Cig TC Wooden Box Mod-36.72 and Free Shipping | GearBest.com Mobile
Not sure I'd trust buying there.

Well, I just bought two packs of four.

Back in the day when I used to use Vamos and things like the e-lvt I used to keep batteries on rotation in pairs. It should be easy to keep a pair synced in this incarnation of the iStick as you can charge them via usb, therefore always keeping a pair together.

As for the others - whack them on charge if you feel that you haven't touched them for a while (or at all).

But do not fear - they should arrive 3/4 charged, and that will do for a bit.

Start a rotation if you want - but some would say that that was overkill (no, not Motorhead - although a great track).

You can always spot the old guys because they say "track". :)

Knopfler is a great bloke Terry.
They took the hotel bar over.
There was a couple of sigs on the album cover i didn't know,Think he'd even got the drivers to sign it.
I kept it safe for ages, then bought the CD,so gave my sister the album and her two kittens pee'd all over it:mad:

Prefer the vocal version by Eric Burdon & the Animals
Oh yes - the original version is always the best. That's one I like to play loud enough to rattle the rafters :D
There's a few good covers and instrumentals too though.

I'm rather fond of this one too:
...and a few others like it :)

But do not fear - they should arrive 3/4 charged, and that will do for a bit.
I was thinking more of longer term storage, and thinking now it's neither a good idea nor necessary.
I'll just get what I need for the ones I have and keep a couple to hand too.

Start a rotation if you want - but some would say that that was overkill (no, not Motorhead - although a great track).

....why, what else do they call it?
