My little dog is limping badly today. I think she's jumped off something far too high for her. So I'm having to spend every second with her to make sure she doesn't run or jump anywhere else.
No doubt you'll have checked that there's no damage to her foot or paw ...nothing in it or punctured it, no damaged toenail?

Whatever, I hope it starts improving soon :)

I did check it all over over the course of an hour with a magnifying glass. I can't see anything and there is no swelling.

I'm confining her relatively speaking and she has an appointment Saturday. I'd like to take her in sooner but the clinic we use doesn't have anything open yet. And she's not crying all the time. Just now when my other half decided my inspection wasn't enough and grabbed at it she cried. But other than that. She's not even limping BADLY all the time. Just a bit. So she can wait until Saturday

It absolutely breaks my heart if there's anything ever wrong with her makes me want to kill the world figure it out

I don't see what more you could do then. Hopefully just a sprain or bruise, and it gets better soon :)

I know that feeling :)

What's in this busy b then?
Does it contain a load of yeast or something similar.
It's a timed release B complex with vitamin C:
Each caplet contains: %NRV*
Vitamin C
500mg 625%
Thiamin (Vitamin B1) 100mg 9,091%
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 100mg 7,143%
Niacin 100mg NE 625%
Pantothenic Acid 100mg 1,667%
Vitamin B6 100mg 7,143%
Vitamin B12 500μg 20,000%
Folic Acid 400μg 200%
Biotin 50μg 100%
Choline Bitartrate Choline Bitartrate
Citrus Bioflavonoids 50mg **
Inositol 50mg **
PABA 50mg **
In a base of Alfalfa, Brewer’s Yeast, Parsley, Rice Bran, Soya Lecithin and Watercress.*NRV = Nutrient Reference Value **No NRV established

Brewers yeast is a natural source of B group vitamins, but I have no idea how refined it will be in this complex.

Yes, you may be right - nothing else new in my diet recently.
I've also been reading more about ulcerative colitis, and while it is based on other auto immune diseases/conditions (I also have a flare-up of psoriasis), and can be either hereditary or stress induced (of which I've had a fair bit in recent times), there are other factors ..this is an excerpt, and there are some interesting points!:
inquiry should be made as to unusual factors believed to trigger the disease. Factors may include: recent cessation of tobacco smoking; recent administration of large doses of iron or vitamin B6.

Having had a full blood count and all the related tests for further effects from UC (the doctor knew I had colitis), and I see this is what she wanted the FBC etc. for:
A complete blood count is done to check for anaemia; thrombocytosis, a high platelet count, is occasionally seen
Electrolyte studies and renal function tests are done, as may be associated with hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia and pre-renal failure.
Liver function tests are performed to screen for bile duct involvement: primary sclerosing cholangitis.
Thankfully, all the above came back 100% OK.

I may continue to leave the B vitamins out for now and see how things go. I'll carry on using some 12mg nicotine daily though - something has definitely caused the colitis to flare up again.

In the meanwhile, I now have both pairs of new specs - both taking some getting used to, as both prescriptions are a big change apparently. The optician thinks I may find concentration much improved once I've got used to them and the severe eye strain subsides.

Or you could try the ones I bought...

I did think about those, yes! :) I think my recent tests may have highlighted any deficiencies, so I may just avoid most supplements for the time being.
I don't seem to have a problem with Lemon Balm and Theanine Serene, nor Vitamin D, pro-biotics & an amino-acid/enzyme complex for digestion etc.

Sunflower seeds and nuts are high in vitamin B.
I don't eat seeds and very few nuts ...none recently either. Could try some almonds (which I like) and see if they make any difference).

Apart from anti inflammatory treatment for UC, the only other 'cure' is a rather drastic surgical one, and I'd need to be extremely ill to even consider that.
Suppose I'll just have to be mindful of anything I eat or take to try and identify trigger factors. I'd had over a week of very little problem until Monday.

I may try taking some simeticone to see if that makes things better.

She's still limping today :(

I got my 521. The build quality is way better than I thought it would be. I'm not too worried that it's a copy of another unit due to the original pricing. Pbusardo talked about it but he also failed to discuss the fact their coiling jig is a copy too. I think kuro made the first one like that didn't they

I haven't built with it yet but I tested a few. I want to slap a known problematic nickel build on there and see if it catches the fluctuation as a test. First impressions are very positive.

For a small contribution to the health conversation in general I found switching to safflour oil for cooking made a big impact in a few aspects of health. Particularly digestive if experiencing discomfort from other things.

Scotty had the lemo drop for $25 shipped priority. I had a $14 credit there so I figured I would try it before it's out of stock everywhere. The lemo 2 is too much of a lung hitter device with the central bore. And honestly I don't really care about bottom fill screws.

Has anyone tried the fast tech Katrina top cap replace, net that allows top filling? Or the kayfun lite tool there ? Of all my tanks I keep going back to the first one I bought. Ehpro kayfun lite. It tastes up there with the tai fun gt2 and the air flow is just about good enough. I've spent s lot of money and time finding something that's maybe 5% better! I wish it had just a bit more air flow. Half a mm in the center post.

They kayfun 4 tastes better but the connectivity issues persist. I can't wait for steam tuners spring update kit to arrive. And the clear view for the tai fun.
