Are you using the Crown, if so you have to do Direct Lung hits with it, trying to do MTL is hard with the Crown, also try closing the afc to halfway, that's how I have mine.

Yes the Crown, there`s no way i could lung hit with the triple 6 bob, it`s harsh as hell (12mg ) i need to get a rba, get my own build in it, and i`m sure it will be a lot better. I have never liked any pre-made coils.

Just watching Alexander Armstrong (Pointless) on his journey to the land of the midnight sun, and 2 of the places he visited I have been to: Bodø and Narvik, think he went there in March or April, I went in February '97 when you never see daylight only twilight.

He is good in pointless, not seen him in much else really though.

Hahaha, well you will stick to high nic juices. Pre-made coils these days are a lot better than in the past, now that they are using cotton and steel or Ni200 wire, the coils of a year ago were really crap, but nowadays pre-made sub-ohm coils with low nic juices make for a nice vape, you just end up using a lot more juice

He'll be okay the Crown is just a normal 510 size wide bore

Have you rebuilt on yours Bob,spoke to two people in a B&M,who both said they got a better vape off the stock coils than the rba.
Don't know them and didn't see the builds. How did you find?
Gave me a try,too airy for me.I'd say the smallest AF setting looked about the same as the max on a subby.

Have 2 of the 3 I have on the go, both with the 0.25 stock coils, haven't tried the RBAs yet, I have them shut down about half way and so far they are good, but still can't make up my mind whether the Crown or Triton is better - prefer both of them over the Subtanks though.

Replaced the Ni200 coil on one of my KF4s yesterday for a Kanthal 1ohm coil so that I could put it on my new Provari and thought I would give one of my new Triton tanks a try with the stock 1.8ohm coil on my Atlas SX350 and @ 30w it is quite good (still don't like the way they have used blue o-rings to differentiate it from the sub-ohm coils - blue in my mind means Nickel, red would have been better)

Should be an industry standard that, for safety sake.:danger:
Exactly, I brought it up with PBusardo when he did the review of the tank, his reply was there is no industry standard, but seeing as both the VS Aspire & Kanger use blue for Ni200 then I think that should be taken as the standard, and maybe the red colour should be used for sub-ohm, black for normal kanthal 1ohm+, and pick another colour for steel ad infinitum

Managed to get my hands on a coolfire iv, an ijust2 and an isub rta. Put ijust on the vt60 and the isub on the coolfire and I'm impressed with both of them. Also got an atlantis on the way pre used but an order from FT has an arctic and a penny 35w cherry mod on the way already.
About time I cleaned out some old and treated myself.
Any coil tips on these rta's welcome.

@Brynglas George just had a look on the Aspire site at the new Triton 2, doesn't really look much different except for the way you fill it, unscrews now so probably accepts the bigger droppers, but one thing I did notice was that they are now doing 2 more coils, a Ni200 with red o-rings and a clapton with yellow o-rings - could be game changer depending on the price of those coils.

I think the glass is also replaceable Bob, and no cage around the glass and they've dropped the upper AF(driptip).
