Areed Bob,they'd have been far better taking it on the chin, facing the problem and putting it right.
SB seems to have come out the other side.
Quite fancying a bottle of their new Mothers milk and cookies actually:)
Might get some once my stock of SB, Cloud Co & King's Crown juices start to get a bit lower, then I can make a bigger order, unless they last until April, when I might be able to pick up some more freebies at vape Jam

not going to order any more from abroad until after Crimbo and then we have to watch out for 2nd week in Feb when it is
Definitely doesn't seem that long ago since last time!

The problem with FP is that they totally deny there is a problem, instead of dealing with it and putting a warning on the affected juices, just looked at the Vaporshark testing and even beard juices except #64 are also affected - TBH I'm not too worried about it, but it would be nice to know anyway - it gives people the choice.
I'm not too worried about it normally, but need to be careful at the moment: the new drug I'm taking is making me horribly short of breath, so I wouldn't want to risk making it worse with anything. (Shame because although early days with it, it seems to be working pretty well. I'll see what the doctor says on Thursday.)

@h00ligan Have you only tried 304 SS with your eVic mini,or have you also used 316 and 317l wire?
I've read it's only set for 304 but others seem to find it works ok in TC with the other two wires.
The SS I bought was advertised as 316L. It works perfectly so either the tcr is very similar or the seller sold 304 marked as 316

I bought a one pound lot (2500ft) for under $20 shipped from a Canadian company on eBay. Is there is an easy way to confirm 316 vs 304? For me I don't really care if it is 304 as food grade for wicks is just fine with me

Edit - One really nice thing about stainless is that it can be used with or without temp control. So I don't have to pay attention to the builds based on devices. Now that I have one that does stainless well and another being repaired. I'll probably use it more.

Think they already have a skeleton staff on there, that's why most of our stuff is getting delayed - not going to order any more from abroad until after Crimbo and then we have to watch out for 2nd week in Feb when it is
For what it's worth the issue doesn't seem to affect the USA so it must be the post over there. My orders are arriving as expected. Fasttech doesn't seem to have delayed he order and the China post part seems fine.

Good, music to my ears.I was hoping not to have to buy 304 just for the evic.316L it is then:)
Yah I have no issues. I'm using 28 gauge since I'm looking for a bit more resistance on my builds. Maybe the difference is greater at something like 24 but I doubt it. Close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades.....and temp control?

I think you'll find that in error, Chefs have the Banoffee Cookie description on Lew's Brew too!
Been a while since I had any Lew's Brew, but it's a coffee flavour, and there's no banana or toffee in it.

In some cases, there's not a huge difference after a few days, but in others, the flavours blend and develop to give more flavour.

Terry likes it, and I think he blends his with Devon Cream or Sweet Cream ...he'll let us know which when he sees this.
Chances are, now you know what it is you're supposed to be tasting, you may find you do like it ...(auto suggestion etc.) ;)

Do you mean other ranges & brands such as Rebranded, One on One etc. ? If so, I have quite a lot of the percentages for the other ranges & brands. Let me know what, and if I have them, I'll let you know :)

As I write, there's a minute of Sunday left ..so happy Sunday and Monday! :)
Good luck with the health plan!
That would definitely explain it. And that's a bummer because I wouldn't have bought a coffee flavor. I've never liked one and it explains why I'm struggling to like this one. I stand by the fact it tastes like alcohol and coffee. I'm a teetotaler too

No I meant their range. I think I have one chefs choice but the rest are their range - new I think.

Talking of SS, I did some tests this morning using the device monitor in eScribe looking specifically at the actual vaping temperature, with SS it was very spiky up & down, Ti was less spiky but still up & down whereas Ni-200 was almost a straight line on the set temperature (SS was a 0.42 Triton coil, Ti was a 0.09 home built dual in a Velocity & Ni was a 0.16 SMOK coil) but don't think the resistance would affect the temp and I did make sure the Velocity coils were well soaked being a RDA.

Subox minimum resistance is .3 for what it's worth. Typically you won't find many coils off by almost half. So you have some wiggle room. More important I ink is making sure you don't ground it by accident somehow - like have it pushed down until it touches the bottom which would be bad. It's nice to see you being adventurous and working all this stuff out. Good for you

Thank you.
I've had so much good advice from this thread, it will help me a lot :)

@Ms.Sue you're welcome! Very helpful thread

@Pictor I had a response. Here are the mixtures they had. Glad I didn't try any of them at 20-30 that I didn't know. Would have been way off.

Bavarian Cream - 2-5%
Lew's Brew - 24%
Creme Caramel - 10-20%
Creme Brulee - 5-10%

@Bobw1951

I believe that's due to the minuscule fluctuations of stainless. Nickel has the largest. Then ti. That would completely line up with the tcr differences. It's also another reason a lower sample rate would work better for stainless probably. Makes sense.

By the way I built an infinity coil in my taifun gt2 yesterday and I really love the flavor I'm getting out of it. Hit up YouTube to take a look how to make them. Very simple and in some atomizers they really bring out the flavor incredibly. The taifun line but you could build them with 24 gauge if you prefer direct lung hits and still see a benefit. It's basically a. DualChimney coil. Very good.

Here's one for the lung hitters. I've used these with temp control too for what it's worth. Been a while. I forgot how much I like them.

If you have a single coil
Configuration bend the coil in half the other way so they wind up on the inside.

-8-

Here's a single coil with a smaller gauge but the other way round

@Bobw1951 You recommended I should get some wire from The Vape Mesh Company.
I know one of them was this one.
http://www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/p...cron-or--26-AWG----10---Metre-Spool-2631.html

I can't remember which twisted Kanthal wire you said I should get. I don't suppose you remember which one it was?.

Sorry to be a pain.
Think if I recommended a Kanthal wire it would be 28g the same as I normally use, and not guilty re the twisted, might have been Terry or George

Not there, but I have some on the way from MyePack 0.1Ω & 0.2Ω plus 0.5Ω Clapton, Marcus put me on to them.
What are your general thoughts on Clapton coils? I bought some ud which were meh. Took ages to heat. The triton mini claptons are fine but not worth paying more than the other kinds and also have a fair bit more throat hit. I just haven't had any I've thought wow yet. In general
Do you prefer Clapton or are you still trying more to find if there's one great one?

Maybe I haven't seen the more flavor
More vapor benefits in the couple I've tried? I won't be wrapping my own anytime soon
