Striking & working totally different - we've seen it before with the Fire Brigade & Transport strikes, it's a time away from the job when people can let their hair down
True, but aren't they intending the public to sympathise with them? To my mind, that requires a degree of professionalism to be on display.
Only last October, on the night I was admitted, we encountered two of the most unbelievable junior doctors ..in charge of the emergency admissions ward. One was a complete idiot, telling me I could go home as soon as my blood test results were back in an hour, and the second was the most jumped up arrogant piece of work I've ever encountered in a hospital. He flounced around in scrubs, head flung back and waving his arms around in the office ...he didn't even have the grace to tell me that I was dangerously ill and needed immediate treatment.
I had the nurse remove the very painfully positioned cannula, told my husband that no way was I staying, and seeing it was Friday night, we could come back on Monday when some consultants would be on duty.
It was only when a third junior doctor came to give me some antibiotics etc. to take home, that I was talked to like a human being, and she assured me that she would replace the cannula and administer a boost dose of antibiotics before setting up drips ...I suddenly felt safe in her hands, and true to her word, I was tucked up in bed with two drips within minutes!
We'd arrived at 5.45, and this was just before 1am!
Thank heaven that doctor was there, because by morning I was so ill, I was talking to people who weren't even there!
My first hospital encounter in 40 years, and initially did little to make me feel safe.

I was glad to see consultants doing full ward rounds on both Saturday and Sunday, including CT scans and lab work.
So that was only one out of three junior doctors that was worth her pay and more! I encountered another very good one on the ward too.

and I'm sure we have all heard what some nurses get up to when they are off duty...
Indeed, but not when in a professional capacity - some were in uniforms. Loudness and horseplay when representing your profession isn't really the way to garner public support ...in my opinion

Yes, there's much hilarity too where appropriate - don't forget where I worked for some years ;)

Why do you think I mentioned it
 Winder upper! :p

I'm just trying some Stash PB&J ...I like it! Flavour is positive even just in a basic Evod at 6.5W - the peanut butter is not overly nutty, but smooth and creamy, and on the exhale, there's the strawberry jam, and not overly sweet either.
I just went for a fresh cup of tea and could smell the strawberry jam as soon as I came back :)

I like that on their labels, not only is the nicotine strength and VG content easily seen, they give the flavour profile underneath the name.

Think i`m gonna have to look at one of my Bellus when i get chance. Bloody Ohms are all over the place ! I tried tightening the post screws yesterday, and they were not loose.
It still vapes okay-ish, but the resistance should be around the 1 Ohm mark, and it is reading something daft like 3.84

I was just tidying my desk up and putting away the Stash bottles from todays Vapour-z ....realised that I hadn't ordered the Suspicious Minds, but Southbound!

I'm rather annoyed by this, because I see they're out of stock on the low nicotine ones in Southbound.
I've sent an email to see what they say.
Hopefully they'll sort something out for you

I hope so.
Stash in the US does have stock, but Vapour-z are out on low ones, so not sure what they could do to be honest.
Southbound sounds rather nice too.
It could be a case of waiting until they get stock ...shame because I could have added that to my Stash US order - they both arrived today.
Wonder if they have any sample bottles!

Anyone knows if liquidbarn would be willing to ship nicotine to Canada? There's a catch, it must not be labeled as a nicotine but pure PG or VG, otherwise it will be refused by customs and sent back to them....
We're mostly in the UK in this thread, but my 2 cents worth would be to either phone or email them and ask.
