Just found that on UKV and was thinking the same thing: This bored gamer hacked his ecig to play a Flappy Bird cloneIs it the flappy bird game thing?

Thanks, it's not really unexpected, think she has been living on borrowed time for a few years now, there is still a possibility of her recovering from this, they are saying that she needs a stronger anti-biotic to fight the infection, but it is only delaying the inevitable.Sorry to hear that Bob
and in case you are wondering why I am awake at this ungodly hour, I got called up the hospital again at 3 am, seems she had another heart episode, and they were fearing the worst, but by the time I got up there she had settled down again, spoke to another couple of doctors and they are saying that if it comes down to CPR then they would not be prepared to do that because of how weak her heart is (only @ 25% of what it should be)

I can imagine, how is she coping, has it got worse or mainly just the same ?? give her a hug from meGood
I was glad to get 9 hours last night - watching out for Sophie and worrying about her has built up a lot of weariness in the past month.
Thanks Bob - hug given!I can imagine, how is she coping, has it got worse or mainly just the same ?? give her a hug from me![]()

Glad to hear things are not too bad and that Sophie is coping, let's just hope that continues for a while longer. Thanks Bob - hug given!
She'd been doing extremely well regarding pain on 3 400mg Paracetamol/9mg codeine twice per day, with Metacam anti inflammatory mid-day, but three days ago, she began limping and holding her leg off the ground by around 8pm - meant the drugs weren't lasting until 9pm any more. So what I've done is add just one Tramadol capsule at tea-time, and leave the other tablets until 10pm. Seems to have done the trick for now.
She was initially on 2 Tramadol x 3 times per day, but she was so dazed and lethargic with them, the vet changed it. The odd one is fine, especially at tea-time because she usually sleeps most of theme then anyway.
The vet explained what the fuzzy 'stuff' is that we see on the x-ray ...it's not the actual tumour (that's inside the bone), it's new bone automatically trying to form to replace that which has been eaten away, and it does it as fast as it can, but the time comes when it can't regenerate as fast as the damage being caused ...and that's when there's a strong chance of a pathological fracture.
Added to the fact we don't know where it's already spread to yet, it's a case of constantly monitoring her and her behaviour. Still wonderful, still very happy, so as long as that's the case, we'll be glad to have her.
She does seem slightly stiff in that leg at times when she first stands after lying down, so we'll just have to see how that goes.
Been a month since we got the news ...never even saw it coming, but it's a month we've been grateful for. Apparently some dogs don't even get that. Good thing we took them to get their teeth cleaned when we did.
Hmmm, mine has gone to restocking for the 2nd time, although now there is no expected date, I haven't seen them appearing elsewhere, so maybe there is a problem that needs sorting before they are released to the retailers.I see the Pico's have gone to 'Pre-order' at FT - looks like we'll be waiting a while longer![]()
