Just reading a positive article re Australia seeking a trade agreement, until later in the article, I see this:
Mrs May has told Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon she would not trigger Article 50 to leave the EU before getting UK-wide agreement.
But this could prove a challenge as Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU and Mrs Sturgeon has vowed to stay in it.

I got mail yesterday from Vapeclub:

2 x BORD02 cloud Crème Anglaise (a repeat of a very nice one - I must try the concentrate of Nom Nomz Crème Anglaise from Chefs to see if it's close!)
1 x BORD02 cloud L'Ecole Buissonniere (A raspberry ice cream with a light touch of cool - nice too!)

Well, as long as we get deals in place and ready to sign. Lots of stuff to unpick when we trigger article 50 - if indeed we ever do. We can simply repeal the Act of Parliament that took us into the EU. Article 50 would not necessarily be needed imho. Mrs May might be being quite clever here - if she quits the EU without invoking article 50 then she has not broken her word to Mrs Sturgeon. All you'd need is a three line whip and a vote.

You sound more positive about it than I feel :) Hope you're right.

It's so tiring and worrying to hear people saying things that sound as though either Sturgeon or May will try to get out of the referendum vote and EU exit.
The media and that darn woman can be unsettling at times:
Brexit: PM is 'willing to listen to options' on Scotland - BBC News
Sturgeon: Second independence referendum could be next year - BBC News

Only if we allow it  and I don't think that will happen any time soon

Just saw a headline in tomorrows Express on Sky News site:
"New Plan for Quick EU Exit" ...May's team on fast-track to ditch Brussels
What's On The Front Of Monday's Newspapers

I just hope this isn't more of the mutterings and half-truths that we're being plagued with by the likes of the media, Sturgeon & co, albeit in a different vein.

Sooner the better. i tried to keep quiet, but it's become too much for me.

My parents live in Scotland and that's fine, but 6 million people do not dictate how 60 million live.

i once asked my father for my independence and he put me outside on the driveway and closed the door.

I`ve said it before about the Scot`s, if they wanna go and be independent, then let them ! If truth be known they need us more than we need them.
They would be Knackered without the Uk`s support now, with the oil drying up etc ! So if they/she, want to go it alone, or with the EU Then let them get on with it.
Like Trisha say`s, she is really starting to grind on my nerves now, so let`s be rid !!

Hi Supertrunker! Nice to see you!

This whole thing has been so very wearing and divisive.
It's a difficult situation with Scotland, and I for one don't want this country split. I have my own Scottish roots in my Grandmother, she was a McColl. Still, sentiment doesn't go too far it seems.

Tis not the Scottish people that annoy me of course, but that pesky Sturgeon ..she's rude and wilful at times, and seems to have no respect for true democracy either.

I'm glad we got enough votes to leave - I knew Britain when it was free of the EU, and it was a proud country, just as Americans are proud of the US and it's independence. Don't know if we can regain that, but I think it's worth the effort.

Whatever, I wish your parents well, and hope things work out to a satisfactory conclusion for all.

If it were my nature Terry, I could harbour quite inappropriate & unkind thoughts regarding that woman!

I've also seen another small piece from tomorrows papers (it's in the Sun) stating that Davis will defy the EU on trade deals.

Not sure how much credence we can give to the red tops, or indeed any of the media, but we shall see.

Exactly, not a particularly reliable newspaper, but who knows..... :)

Absolutely fed up of it all - we need to see positive action, progress at whatever pace they can muster, and no more talk of overturning it. ...and an end to the silly 'Brexit' word!

Yet more dissent ....so yes, bring it down here.
Perhaps we should do a deal with them: shut up about the exit for good, and we'll take it away! ;)

and now we have the M&G Fund Manager talking Doom & Gloom, well according to my calculations M&G are a useless fund anyway, when I took mine out with Santander, I looked for another similar priced fund (£2.02) to compare it with and picked the M&G Global Div A Acc which is now only £2.18 yet mine are £2.67

We try not to take too much notice of such things - as long as my husbands pension stays steady with the odd increase, we'll be happy enough.
Everybody could say they'd like more, but I daresay people could find something to be gloomy about every day.
