I'm trying some on top of a drop of Chefs White Velvet ...seems quite nice so far, will tell better when it gets through the bits of the Chefs one ;)

I don`t remember Trish, but it looks like there`s some bad blood somewhere
Does look odd doesn't it! - haven't a clue who they are, but I do have the recipe books downloaded in PDF!

I just found that post again - link just goes back to that current message on the home page.

If anyone would like the two books of recipes, I'll email the PDF's :)

Hate thieves! Our younger son went for lunch with some work clients a few years ago, and put his Berghaus jacket on his chair (he'd saved up for that jacket - in the sales too), and when they were preparing to leave, found that his jacket had been taken, and not one of them had noticed. The reason he'd wanted this jacket was that he'd forgotten his original one, and left it laid on the back seat of his car, parked outside his house, and someone broke into the car and stole it! It had been a few years before he could get that replacement too.
He's just not meant to have a Berghaus jacket! ;)
More recently, they came home one afternoon to find the old wood/wrought iron bench from their front garden had been taken - they'd carefully renovated it too only the previous year, and would sit there to keep an eye on their children playing in the field opposite.

Thieves are despicable!

Evening all, just touching base, a flying visit really. Went to the dentist to get rid of a troublesome molar and ended up on anti biotics for a week, thought I`d had it for a while, but the worst is over now.

It`s ages since I bought anything other than diy liquids, so I`m puffing away on a Lemo with a 1.8 ohm simple coil set at 6 watts on an istick with homemade Toonz liquid, happy days

I hope everyone is getting what they need from their set up and in the rudest health (tut tut Bob, boozing, carousing and hell raisin is a young mans game)

Vapemail: from FT 4 x 2 Geek Vape Eagle Hand built coils for my 2 GV Eagles although it took a while to get them shipped, it was only 6 days from shipping advice to arrival via ePacket

Hi Vince! Hope the antibiotics have done the trick! :)

I see at FT, I'm not far away from 10 rebate points (9.85), may get another Pico when it gets to 10 - unless there's any suggestions for something better :)

iPower from Eleaf - has a nice 5000mAh internal battery - I've got the wood effect one with an Atlantis on top.

Just checked mine and it's just over 11 so have asked for a GC, maybe another TFV8 for me.

Fine now thanks Trish, I was reading one of those motivational thingys the other day where someone reckons that the misery you feel when you`re unwell is natures way of letting you know that your still alive, so I reckon that last week must have been the most alive I`ve been in quite a while

That's a good one - is a fixed battery likely to become useless faster than if using a replaceable battery, or are the actual electronics the same?

I also saw this one that uses either an 18650 or 26650: $29.45 Authentic Eleaf iStick Pico Mega 80W TC VW APV Box Mod - 1-80W / 100-315'C(200-600'F) / 1*18650/26650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Anything to choose between the two? (As you know, I don't use the TC)

Such low prices and free shipping, and still they give points! Remarkable :)

The only difference is that eventually a fixed battery will die as do any battery, but with a replaceable one you only need to buy the battery - but there are no 5000mAh normal batteries, biggest is probably 3000mAh in 18650 format - anything above that and they are probably telling porkies

Only difference between that and the normal Pico is an extra 5w - which you wouldn't need, and the ability to take the larger 26650 batteries that are fatter than the 18650 (26mm v 18mm diameter)

The iPower would last longer between charges, even if you used the LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q batteries in the Pico
I always think it is best to have some of each, so if you go out for the day you have the choice of carrying extra batteries and/or a mod that can be recharged easily via USB.

Yep, got the full $11 so went for the TFV8, I had bought one at vapefest for £30 (local cafe sells them for £37) and the one from FT after the $11 discount has come out at £16.52

Not so much the time between charges that concerns me, but the longevity of the electronics.
If one is likely to last longer than the other, then that's what I'd prefer. If there's no difference - apart from unknown possibilities/occurrences - then I suppose either would do for me.

As for having some of each, I have perhaps a dozen or more unused mods ranging from iPOW through every variation of iStick, Cloupor Mini, Sigelei Mini, and whatever else I may have overlooked :D
I just thought I may as well have something newer to use my points! ;)

As they are both made by the same company - I wouldn't think there would be a lot of difference

Right then - I'll probably go for the fixed battery one. Thanks :)

....you feeling better today?
Quite a bit better, still blowing the nose a few times, and for the first time in my life I have a cold sore :(
Had to cancel my Cardiactive class on Wednesday, just wasn't up to it, but looks like I'll be able to get to the match tomorrow afternoon :)

That's odd! I just got the first one in many years - right on the edge of my nose, so it hurts to blow it!
I've had 5 episodes in as many weeks when I start to get goosebumps and get cold, start shivering, numb fingers, and often get a crushing headache. I use one of those microwave hot packs and wrap up in a rug or thick cardigan ...or go to bed, and it's gone by morning. Always starts early to late evening.
If it's a bug, my immune system won't be too good at eliminating it, as it's not working properly right now, and antibiotics aren't advised if possible as they trigger off more problems.
Paracetamol/codeine is pretty much all I can take.
The consultant had some blood tests done last week, but I've heard nothing back, so it can't be anything serious.
My husband was feeling light headed and had a headache & joint aches tonight, so perhaps there's a bug doing the rounds!
I've deliberately stayed up reading until now so that I can sleep later (I hope) - I haven't been sleeping long enough the past few weeks.
Had to cancel my Cardiactive class on Wednesday, just wasn't up to it, but looks like I'll be able to get to the match tomorrow afternoon :)
Don't overdo it - could cause it to flare up again. Hope you enjoy the match :)
