Yes, and you were right first time Bob ...slaves it is!
All new to her, and she's still so young. Been a nice day so lots of time outside, but still fairly hard work keeping an eye on her etc. ...asleep beside me so I'll start getting ready to settle her for the night soon!

Bye bye EE,Hello BT.
Thought you had left us, I saw a couple of your posts on AAE-C in the classies, I had the late wife's mobile on Orange which became EE and they were atrocious, they even tried to steal the money that was on it, because she hardly ever used the mobile - soon got that re-instated.
Anyway good to see you back :)

15 year customer, that had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for a new router, that didn't arrive. All done thru' premium rate Indian call centres.:-x
BT had an unlimited service on offer for £5 pm,so changed over.At least they've promised all call centers will be back in the UK by the end of the year.

Thanks Pipey.
You should try Sleekit juices, imho they leave Rejuiced standing, very similar on price, but more flavoursome.
I tried Crunch,Red Cereal and Loopy. All in 100ml bottles,£10 per 100ml (with discount code, that they release approx 4 times a year, cheap even without the code).

That sounds well worth looking into. :)

A quick update on the Nautilus X-tank. They now do 1.8ohm coils for it (I got some) and they're great! Much more flavour and run perfectly well at low wattage. The flavour floods out (for me, running it on a Pico) at 9.5w. If only they'd released the tank with these coils - using 1.5 ohm coils meant that the 10mm tall drip tip sleeve could get unpleasantly hot. That is now a thing of the past. :)

Edit: I've ordered some 14mm acrylic ones from FT - can't get used to tiny tips. :)

Today (Mon 22nd), a close friend came down from Hawick with a special delivery: a large, heavy, black woolly standard poodle puppy!
She's the daughter of that friends 'Dad/sire' dog, Jordi, who just happens to be Sophie's cousin! (His Mum was Sophies aunt - the sister of her Dad). Seeing the line links, and the fact that it was via our close friend, we decided that we'd get her, as there wouldn't be another of this ilk along again.

After 10 years of love & affection all the way, Sophie left a huge gap in the house, so here we are two months later with this bundle of rather nice
trouble! ;)

It will be hard work, but we think it'll be worth it. Not only will we have the company of a big dog for hugs and walks, we'll have that big bark at the bottom of the stairs too - double bonus.

She's called Hetty, is 8 weeks old today (23rd) and has us worn out just 12 hours after her arrival!
I'm about to sit in a dimly lit kitchen with her and her bed, and try to get her off to sleep for at least most of what's left of the night. She's partially house trained, so not expecting miracles.
This was her last week:

Aw she is adorable Trish, Hetty will be great for cuddling up to, especially in the dead of winter  Sorry for the late reply, but i have been very busy the last couple of days, laying cement borders along the front drive.
I must have sweat bloody gallons yesterday, but got to take advantage of the nice weather, plus i get to clean out my system a bit

Bye bye EE,Hello BT.
Thought you had deserted us George  We moved to BT from Sky last year, and they are pretty good but i find them a bit expensive for what it is. Think i will go back to Plusnet when this contract ends, as they are Cheaper, & offer Fibre Optic for less than i pay now. And they are very good, as i have used them in the past :)

I'm with PN, they are part of BT but as you say cheaper, I have the full Fibre2 offering but might go to the cheaper 55/10 as since they mucked up my line I'm only getting 62/20 instead of the full 80/20 I used to get

Bye bye EE,Hello BT.
Hi George! Good to see you back. :)
I saw that there's some new Bunkr ones but haven't had time to investigate yet!

I had the late wife's mobile on Orange which became EE and they were atrocious, they even tried to steal the money that was on it, because she hardly ever used the mobile - soon got that re-instated.
My phone too - I was furious to need to make a rare call and find the credit had been 'stolen' ....the call centre chap just couldn't see that they should not be allowed to do that! I bought the phone and put credit on it with my money! I'd like to know if anyone has properly explored the legal position on this practice.

At least they've promised all call centers will be back in the UK by the end of the year.
About time! Hope others follow suit.
I was originally with French company Liberty many years back, and then went to Line One then Pipex - all fine, but I eventually ended up in the hands of Talk-Talk! Dreadful! I decided on Zen in 2011, had them install a new master socket which was cheaper and faster than a BT direct order, and immediately got a far better speed, so stayed with ADSL2. Enough for my needs, and a proper tech services department. Yes, it costs more but when I'm working properly I need to ensure a consistent service.

I like the sound of a 1.8 coil! I may try one of those now :)
I don't like short dumpy tips either, but have had some decent ones from FT.

Worth it though, eh?
Absolutely! :thumb:

Thought you must be busy with something! :) Hetty is delightful ...lovely time waster, pesky loser of sleep, and little Georgia wonders why we brought a pet crocodile into the house
We can actually see that she's grown in the three days she's been here!
She's starting to understand a few things and routines, so hopefully she'll be well settled in a week or so.
Had her first vaccination late afternoon - vet not a bit surprised to see we got her!

Just out of curiosity Trish, what are you feeding her, apart from a lot that is.

Never tried any of those - which ones do you like? The raspberry macaroon type one sounds nice.
The new Bunkr ones only seem to be here at the moment:

I see there's also some new ones from Kilo (black) and Suicide Bunny.

Edit: Nice puppy:thumb:
Thanks! She is lovely - had her first vaccination yesterday afternoon, and wore us out this morning though, so hoping she's calmer after she's had a sleep - enjoying the peace right now

Yes, very hard work! Think it may have been too hot yesterday for her as she slept most of the day and ate nothing until 9pm last night ....making up for it today, and is more like a pet crocodile that runs around like a little rhino! ;)

She's just coming of RC puppy kibble & a little mousse added, and going over to RC Junior Maxi with Lily's Kitchen Chicken Dinner added (tablespoon).
She'll stay on the kibble for some months, but instead of the Lilly's Kitchen puppy, I'll begin adding a small amount of Rinti, Animonda, or Terra Canis wet food to the bowl of kibble just as Georgia is used to.
They'll also get 1oz of cooked minced beef for tea with their kibble on alternate days.
No added wetness as she can eat the kibble easily ...Georgia not so much but does eat some.
The bulk of each meal is kibble, with the small amount of tasty wet food to add flavour and variety.
Being a deep chested breed, they get their daily meal allowance divided into two meals once onto adult food to avoid GDV, and once spayed, go over from Junior kibble to RC DP34 which helps stop them getting overweight, without creating unnecessary bulk in the food. (Georgia and Sophie always had those foods and have done well on them).

She's still having 4 meals per day, but will likely stop breakfast any time ..we add a spoonful of porridge to that meal, but the other three are all as above.
