Hi all,I noticed that fasttech have got a bit of a slating...I know that delivery is pretty slow but I dont think that 2 wks to get free delivery to UK is too bad and I've ordered quite a few times and found that quality is pretty good aswell.Where I do think they need to get things right is when they copy even the logos of manufacturers, their customers are not that naive to think they can buy genuine article at their prices! In any case if we want items sooner we do have the option to pay for quicker delivery.Thats it guys...

Hi mizunoboy and welcome to ECF!

I agree - Fasttech has good prices good customer service and decent quality as long as you check the reviews and discussions. Remember, it's not them that's copying the logos, but the manufacturers of the products they buy from. They also, for the most part, clearly distinguish between clone and Authentic.

Happy vaping!

I think FastTech has it's niche but is probably more user-friendly for those on/near the Continent. "Battery shipping issues' to America can make delivery here a guessing game. But there are many vendors that buy in bulk directly from the factories and new B&M's springing up every day. The customer can still get a pretty decent price on most equipment without the wait and there's something to be said for the ability to return a product to a semi-local source and get a replacement in a timely manner should the product be defective or missing parts. And there's even more to be said for the ability to contact the vendor and ask questions about the product and get indepth answers before and after sale. FastTechs prices are good but there's very little customer support for what they sell besides "send it back".

When I use Fasttech, I pretty much consider it a gamble. I'm getting the item at a ridiculous price, so if it isn't satisfactory, then I don't even know that i would hassle with returning it. So far, what I've bought has been as advertised. Ive been pleased. I carefully read the reviews from others first, and try to make sure I get the exact SKU for the right item. There's a lot of variance so you have to be paying attention.

Fasttech junky here.

For me it's about not walking into my local B&M and paying $65 for a mech clone and $35 for a cloned RDA. There are some things I'll buy at local places to support shops I think are doing a good job. However I will never pay what most shops asks for item THEY got from Fasttech at 100000000% markup.

Before I start, I want to make sure that we're talking about the same thing. We're talking about clones mostly, right? I agree, FT does carry some authentic items but it seems the gist of this thread is clones...

I'm a big fan of FT. I order 5-10 attys twice a month(ish) and have yet to have a problem with shipping. Granted, quality on every item I've ordered hasn't always been "the best" but I get enough "winners" to make it worth while and I get as many lousy $10 clones from FT as I got lousy $30 clones from B&M's.

Also, is there some sort of RDA ADHD going around that I'm not aware of? Or is it more a matter of a product only being judged by it's relevance and newness and not by it's performance? Perhaps "I'm" missing something. I vape so I don't have to smoke anymore, not so I can have the newest version of whatever it is that Rip is tripping about.

I admit, I like new gear and I'm as happy to get vapemail as anyone else, but my days of throwing away money on something just because someone else thinks it's great or because it's "the newest thing" are long gone. I buy many pieces, make my own decisions and if I don't like whatever it is, I give it away. But if I do like it, I buy the authentic. And there are plenty of brands out there where I don't have to buy a clone to try it out. I trust the brand and I trust the reputation so i just go ahead and buy the authentic.

Take FT for what it is, an opportunity to TRY many more pieces than you would normally be able to try. I know this is crazy talk for some of you who think you are the ULTRA-HIP-VAPING-ELITE, but I'm pretty sure no one is impressed by the guy on the block that has the "clone" as soon as it's released.

Good luck and no offense to anyone was intended. Just my late night pre-bar ramble.

Good thread OP. See you on the boards.

I go for my countries updated shipping option $2.50.
I got my last order from Fast tech in 11 days.

Reading the reviews on products can help.

^ This. They state clearly that if ordering from the U.S., expect up to 3 months for delivery. For $2.50, guaranteed faster delivery. It's worked for me so far! Though I haven't purchased any gear yet, just juice and pre-coiled wicks, so I have zero opinion on the quality/likelihood of clones. When I was wondering about the status of my package that I *hadn't* specified speedy shipping, they responded within 4 hours. Thank you for your time and attention. If you need me for anymore borderline redundant information, I'll be vaping the 30ml I got for $3.60. :)

They should rename their company slow tech. Took 2 months to receive my order. Multiple items were defective and their customer service is very poor.

If you do your research on their own website, you'll see numerous reviews and forums dedicated to each product type. This will help you select the best quality product.

Also, make sure you order stuff that is in stock.

Finally, don't rely on the free shipping. Pay the extra $1.80 and upgrade it if your order is less than $20.

Following these three small tips will mean your experience will be about a million percent better.

My second to last order got here in 6 days from the day I ordered.

Oh, their customer service is actually pretty dang awesome. Nowhere else will give you a 6 month warranty on a $5 item. Yes, there is a language barrier, but the only time I had to return something, I sent it to an address in Miami and got my replacement within 2 weeks. Another time I screwed up and even though it was my fault, I got an instant credit back to my account.

So yes, I can understand some people are frustrated with FT, but you have to consider they are a reseller and not a traditional US based vendor that you just order blindly from and expect to get your stuff in 2 days. Ordering from them take a little work, but it's well worth it in my opinion.

Just a tip for shipping; Make multiple orders! If you are ordering several things, take note of the stock of the items. Some will say "in stock" or "ships in 7 days", etc. Order all of your in stock items together and delayed items separately so that you get some of them more quickly.

Also, anything that contains batteries (and some things that don't but are mislabeled in their system) have to go by sea and take FAR longer to arrive. Order these things separately as well.

You won't get everything right away, but at least not everything will be held up because one drip tip isn't in stock for 2 more weeks
