Yeah, I got a 5-pack of these to try too.. But like others, I'm having a heck of a time with the wicks - some are fine, but others are dry-hit city.
I got the correct evod coils (FT has a mistake on one of them, but I can't remember which now), although not Kanger on those. Some work well and some don't it seems. Although I'm wondering if it could be something with certain tanks too - perhaps it gets too narrow at the bottom on some, manufacturing faults?? Because one I have, a blue one, has done it with a couple different coils now. Strangely, if I drag really hard on that, it seems to pull the juice into the coil (80/20 mix). Another one is working fine right off the bat though, IIRC.

These evod-type heads seem to be too small for using 30ga kanthal/nichorome. I'm finding that nichrome really does break too easily, so I may save that for when I get better at doing coils - since I got 100ft of it for ~$5 IIRC. These evod heads may just need 32ga, period. I'm trying to use some machine screws to help make them look purty - a 4/40, 2mm, and 3mm. I read that the metric ones may produce tighter-spaced coils, but damn are they too small to hold onto easily!
Anyhoo.. Trying to figure out these T4's, coil building, wicking - and if I should perhaps order more of these, evods - or just stick with the often-seeminly-trusty T3S's. Too many choices in this vaping world.
